Ashley sounds like an 80-year old trapped inside a teenager's body with her 'child' comment, lol. Yay for Carrie standing up to Stacey and boo for Stacey being freaky. It sounds like you're setting up High School War III or something, I wonder how the rumble to the jungle'll go down if it does come to that. Oh wow, I just thought about how if you're gonna get Carrie and Kelly together, it'll probably come out in the school. That's like every kid's nightmare, having the whole school against you like that.

Okay, sorry, I'm getting way ahead of the story here. Update soon, I'm lovin' it. (wow, mcdonalds flashback)

Well, I'm glad that Kelly didn't get angry with Carrie over Jeanne finding out about her detention, though I did wonder if she would for a second. It's cool that they're building up trust and are friends again. I am curious if Carrie is going to go back home now that she knows Kelly has the day off. Maybe they will meet up later? I totally laughed when Carrie told Kelly about her parents trying out a new form of trust, that was awesome. Cool update.

What about poor people like me who didn't get/could never afford a cell phone until high school graduation of 2006? ...I'd wanna play retarded tag with Kelly and Carrie. That cardboard cut out part oozed sexual tension and I must have detected some subtle flirting there. "She dropped the other girl onto her bed carefully before going back to close the window." and "Most people that sleep with me wake up to find me gone." Oh yeah. Cereal? What happened to the chicken and waffles?

Really loving it-this fic is very charming & quite funny at that. I like how Carrie/Kelly are slowly getting to know each other & how the feel a connection to each other. Great job.

Well, that was very, fun game. lol. Another amazing update from you...loved it! I can't wait to see how this goes, having Carrie sleeping over, and seeing what other "KC Originals" make it onto the story (BoY, perhaps?). Anyway. More soon, please! :)

Aww, cuteness galore. Is that a word? I'm not sure, it's way too late for me to think straight. I loved the awkward pushed-against-eachother moments and Carrie was funny with her 'bad breath' comment. It really would be awful if you'd have to smell that all the time, it'd totally ruin the moment! Glad to see they're bonding again!

oh yeah there were totally cell phones in 2000, cuz that was my senior year, too, and almost all of my friends had them by then...I got my first my junior year of high school (1998-1999) and it was a flip phone and not too huge. and I know my dad had one since I was like 10 (1992) but it was zach morris/"saved by the bell style and big and boxy. lol.

anyways, the tag game is definitely my favorite chapter so far! so hilarious and fun and I love the tension

I loved that Ashley got Kelly and Carrie in gear, though she made it very clear that she wouldn't allow Carrie to be around if she didn't makeup with Kelly lol. Another thing that I loved? That they were in the movie theater late at night, in the movie I mentioned, something similar happened. Kids just like going into places they aren't supposed to be when they are underage, don't they? j/k I like that they made up so quickly, it's so high school. One week you're mad at your best friend over something trivial (like Carrie's dad's job?), and the next you're not. Although, Kelly's reason for being upset was more than a bit trivial, in general everything seems huge in HS. Can't wait for the next part to see what a girl's night is in Texas.

Lol, it's nice to know the conflict was resolved a chapter later. "It's a KC original." "Who's Casey?" I swear I damn near keeled over in laughter. Effin brilliant. Haha, I didn't know the choir room wasn't open to the public. Good on Ashley for actually have the patience to spell it out for her. Cell phone? Wha? Don't you mean pay phone? I mean we are talking like 1999 here... right? Awww, that little make up in the movie theater was insanely cute.

They're insanely cute together... I love how you write them, especially Kelly (I have this major crush on Miss KC, lol).
Are you gonna use more of Kelly's songs in it? Or Carrie's songs? What is the deal with Carrie's dad? I don't like getting hooked on stories but I can't help it with this one so, come on, another update?
