I didn't want this chapter to end... seriously, I think it's been the best so far (and that's hard to say!)-- the action, the emotions, and dammit, that sweet, tender relationship between Darren and Dan just has me enthralled.
The other characters that you've added in, especially those who have a major role in this chapter (Anton and Cryril) are wonderfully realistic, and I love how they have their own backgrounds and desires, instead of just complying easily which I think would be easier to lean to in a fic like this. So kudos to y'all for the extra effort in making such multi-dimensional characters-- and in Dar and Dan too.

Wow. Amazingly horrific chapter, really. The parallels between Darren's mother and Daniel that you've created in Darren's mind are stunning and scary at the same time. And the painfully realistic imagry of Daniel's torture compared to Darren's experiance with Madam Kay and Richard... *shivers* Very well writeen, if not lightly disturbing.
I'm looking foward to more!

This is by far the best piece of literature I have read on this site. It is thrilling - rivetting. I have been captured by the complexity and mysteriousness of the characters. There is an air of darkness to this piece, which makes is all the more enjoyable. Please, I beg of you, make more, for this chapter has left me with an overwhelming need for more.

Yes, I expected Darren to try stopping them or something, but of course he couldn't - he was somewhere else... Poor Daniel indeed!!!

Aw, you two, this is wonderful! A little scary and painful... but wonderful. And quite realistic for an AU: Darren's emotional state, and anger at not being defiant, Daniel's quiet suffering at what he has to do, and the calm comforting. So beautifully written.
I'm looking foward to the next chapter! :)

Chaper Five, and we start to step deeper. Love the way everything is slowly easing into place, how you know that they all have emotions that they have to keep hidden because of the label they've been given. Oh yeah, would love to know how the jerk was punished ;)
