Wow. I've been reading this fic since you first started posting it and I've been hooked the whole time. I check daily for updates on it. *_* I'm an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) and when Gee had his heart attack I-- literally-- hit the floor. I was stunned that you wrote it because it's SO COMMON among drug addicts; especially chronic cocaine users. A lot of people don't know that. My father had a heart attack at Gee's age because of cocaine use. Most drug addicts OD and then go into cardiac arrest, it gets textbook stuff after a while. ("*is called to the scene of an unresponsive 20-ish-something year old pt* *gets on scene and sees all the signs of a drug addict* ... *tries to wake the pt and gets baseline vitals* ... *no pulse, no breathing* ... *sighs* Get the AED, I'll start compressions...") You rock my 'verse.
