Hi!!! I'm so glad that you update!!!! what about sexual abuse? maybe when he was 8? but he forgot it. I'm not sure about the english name of this disease (maybe "psychogenic amnesia"), but when something BIG happens, your brain put it in the back, you can´t remember so you can't get hurt by it but in the present time, something makes him remember, so he returns to the past because his inner child needs the help that he didn't get when the abuse happened....
Well xDDD if it was my fic I'll write something like this.. but it's yours! it's only an idea.

They don't usually need to shave someone's temples for ECT. And the only cases I've seen of adults regressing to a child's frame of mind are usually based in molestation and rape. Let's say a woman was molested as a child, and then later on in life is raped, that may cause her to regress mentally to protect herself from what happened in the past AND in the now.

Okay well first ECT is used as a last resort, they CAN'T have the patient sign off on it it has to be their legal guardian, also if Dr. Barker were to get busted for it... Let's just say the only medicine he'll be practicing is taking aspirin. Call the cops Mikey! The New Jersey Board Of Health! The Ombudsmen! Social Services! Add something soon or I'm going to start biting my nails.
