I can see why Carrie wouldn't tell Kelly about how she thinks Ashley has feelings for Kelly. I'm not so sure that it was a good thing she kept quiet though, I mean besides the fact that Ashley is just going to get even more jealous. Although it might be funny if Carrie called Kelly 'baby' one too many times around Ashley. I don't know if I was supposed to find it cute that Carrie continued to hold onto Kelly when Matt came up to them, but I did. Like since she likes Kelly, and now that she knows Ashley likes Kelly, why wouldn't she think that the straight cheerleader might like Kelly too? lol I felt a little bit sad for Ashley before this chapter, because Kelly is pretty freaking clueless to Ashley's feelings, but she didn't say what she was feeling when she had the chance. So, I didn't feel too bad for her when she seemed to get upset when Kelly asked Carrie to help her with the dress during the play. At the end of the update, the guy playing lead smiled lol, he was probably just happy that they got through the kiss.

I absolutely love those little cute scenes with Kelly and Carrie.. You do such a great job with them.. I'm jealous, I wish I could write scenes like that ^^

Sorry that I haven't update in a long time, but I have been reading & enjoying your fic. I love that Kelly is so supportaive of Carrie & goes to watch her softball games & helps her make new friends at school. I loved it when they practiced kissing it was so sweet & kinda romantic-because I think they both felt someting more than in a friend way...but are both too confused to admit it yet. U are really writing a terrfic story & taking your time in explaning their growing realtionship. Great job. Can't wait to read your next update.

What the hell is up with Ashley? She overreacted so badly. What's so bad about Carrie that she makes the hit list in every story, lol. Not that I'm really complaining. It's more fun when Carrie's gotta be the hit taker. Ashley really needs to sort her ass out though. Yay for Carrie's dad coming to her game and embarassing her.

Ashley and Kelly's little get together ended in a fight, but when Kelly calms down, she's going to realize what Ashley meant, right? Carrie is going to figure it out if Kelly tells her what all that was said. I did not see that coming, but damn that is so high school :) Steve and Kelly were cute being all supportive of Carrie, but not lying about how much the softball team sucked lol. I liked how Carrie and Kelly acted in the car after the game. They were sweet.

Haha. How is it that Kelly can change her whole schedule for her friend yet Carole can't do it for her own daughter? "At least my charity case supports me, right?" Props to Carrie for that one. I hope her mom felt the burn with that one. Awww poor Kelly. What's she gonna do come opening night? Maybe the guy could get into an accident the day before and Carrie would have to take his spot. Happiness all around then.

The zoo is smelly, but I think I'd rather work there than at a bar. It will be interesting to see Kelly handling bar patrons though when she starts at the bar. It's cool that Kelly was able to switch her schedule around so that she could go to Carrie's game, and yay that Steve is going too. Carrie's mom sucks though, and I think Carrie's lucky she didn't get hit for cursing. Ashley and Kelly still need to talk some more, but hopefully it will be in private and not because Ashley does something to upset Kelly.
