Oh damn. I don't even know what to say. I'm reviewing on this story for its prequel as well, because I really see them as one piece split up into two parts. So, so, so beautiful. I love how you never use names and simply speak in the first and second tense. It gives it this whole other level of personality and closeness that you couldn't get if you put names in. Thanks so much!
