Bo stood backstage, studying himself in the mirror. So he had lost. Part of him was devastated. He had wanted to win so badly. He had wanted to prove to the world that he was a star, and not just some hick from Alabama.
But it didn’t matter, because in his heart he was a star. So he hadn’t won. It didn’t matter because he had gotten to sing on stage with Lynard Skynard. That band had been his idol since he was a little kid. He had gotten to sing a great song with his favorite band, and that had made his entire day. A soft knock came at his dressing room door.
"Come in," he said, tucking his long hair behind his ears.
Constantine walked into the room.
"How you holding up?" he asked, shutting the door behind him.
"I’m doing ok. I mean, to be honest. I wasn’t really expecting to win," Bo said, happy to see his old friend.
"I was rooting for you, I voted for you. I mean, you’re my rocker in crime," Constantine smiled.
A small smile crossed Bo’s face.
"Thanks man."
Bo gave his friend a light hug. Constantine patted Bo’s back.
"You should have won," Constantine said.
Bo nodded.
"Maybe, maybe not. Doesn’t matter, I’m still gonna sing," Bo smiled.
"You better, I’ll kill you if you didn’t. Hey, maybe you and I should cut an album. Bet all the little fan girl would go crazy," Constantine laughed.
Bo smiled. All those little fan girls.
"Oh come on, they would only buy the record to stare at your adorable face," Bo teased.
Constantine laughed and blushed.
"Hey, you have a pretty adorable face too."
"Thanks, man."
"You really should have won. You were robbed. I mean I’m not saying that isn’t Carrie is talented, but I mean, come on, you’re a Southern rocker. America needs a Southern rocker," Constantine rambled.
Bo smiled. Constantine and he had really bonded over the course of the show. He was fond of his rocker in crime. In fact, he was a little too fond of him. During the past few months, Bo had found himself becoming attracted to this Greek God. Constantine had always been there for him, had always been his shoulder to lean on, and was just an amazing person. When Bo looked at Constantine, he saw all the good this world possessed.
"Quit staring at me," Constantine grinned and sat down on the couch.
"But I can’t! Just look at that adorable face! I just want to pinch those cheeks!" Bo said, mocking Mikalah’s voice.
Constantine rolled his eyes and chuckled.
"I don’t think she could have thrown herself at your feet anymore," Bo sighed, removing his jacket.
"She did, but I mean, I would never. I don’t take advantage of people like that."
"Really?"
"Yeah, really. Why do you say it like that?"
"It’s just that Mikalah told Carrie that you and her, slept together," Bo said, avoiding Constantine’s gaze.
"That’s not true, Bo. You know that it’s not. I would never do that."
Bo sighed.
"I know, I don’t know why I bought that up, or even believed anything Mikalah would say."
"Why did Carrie even tell you that? She’s not one for gossip at all."
"Carrie and I are close. I love that gal with all of my heart, she’s like a sister to me. She was just looking out for me," Bo said, trying not to look at his friend.
"But I don’t understand how anything involving Mikalah and me…would, no offense, be any of your business," Constantine said.
Bo bit his lower lip. Maybe he should just tell Constantine the truth. The worst thing was that Constantine would reject his advances. Bo could handle that, he’s suffered from a broken heart before. Bo turned to face his friend and looked right into his eyes.
"I love you, Constantine. Over the past few months, I’ve just fallen head over heels in love with you," Bo said, his tone firm and sincere.
"Really?" Constantine asked.
"Yes."
Constantine smiled wide.
"I am so glad you told me, because I love you too," he said, standing up.
"Really?" Bo asked.
"Yes. I wouldn’t lie to you."
Constantine crushed his lips against Bo’s. Bo closed his eyes, snaking an arm around Constantine’s waist, pulling him closer. Constantine entwined his fingers in Bo’s long hair, creating small little tangles. Their tongues explored each others mouth. This just felt so right. After a few minutes of heavy kissing, Constantine pulled away.
"Have you ever been with a man before?" he asked, leaning his forehead against Bo’s.
"Not in that way, no. You’re the only man I’ve ever loved before. Have you?"
"No, but I want to be with you. I want you in me, Bo."
"You sure, suga?" he asked.
"Yes."
Bo kissed him again, before gently pushing Constantine away. Constantine licked his lips as Bo began to undress. Bo blushed a little at the still clothed Constantine.
"You’re gonna get naked too right?" he asked, a little nervous.
"Yes, I was…you’re beautiful," Constantine whispered, sliding his leather jacket off.
Constantine removed the rest of his clothing and moved in for another kiss. Bo pressed his lips against his.
"You ready?" Bo whispered into his ear.
"More than ever."
Bo led Constantine over to the couch and bent him over the arm. His fingers trailed lightly over his smooth back. He leaned down to kiss his soft strands of hair.
"Like I said, I haven’t done this before," Bo sighed, guiding himself gently into Constantine.
Constantine grunted. It hurt, but it felt wonderful at the same time. Bo gripped Constantine’s shoulders and slipped further into him.
"Oh, god, yes right there right there!" Constantine cried out.
Bo hit that spot over and over. His love moaned under him.
"Jesus, this feels so good."
Constantine tightened around Bo, who was on the brink of explosion. He gripped his shoulders once again and came into Constantine with a loud moan. Beneath him, Constantine panted. He pulled out of him and sat down on the couch.
"Come here, baby," Bo beckoned to Constantine in the sweet Southern drawl of his.
Constantine snuggled in Bo’s lap. Bo kissed the top of his head and held him close. Softly, Bo began to sing,
"Oh, this is the start of something good
Don't you agree?
I haven't felt like this in so many moons
You know what I mean?"
Constantine smiled and closed his eyes.
"I know exactly what you mean."
