~Autumn's POV~

This was the weirdest day of our lives. Moving to a new state so shortly after the passing of our parents. They were taken away from us too fast. A drunk driver is all I’m gonna say. Me and my sister decided to move out of our old house, far too many memories most good but they still hurt more than anything. Belleville didn’t sound so bad, I mean say it with me Belleville; it has a nice ring to it. You’re probably wondering why we chose Belleville. Well, we got a map and a dart and after a few “practice” shots Belleville was the place.

My name is Autumn. I was born in August so that’s why I carry that name. I just recently turned 18 and damn happy about that. I’m finally legal in nearly every way. Just a few more years and I’ll be legal to drink, not that I don’t do it and I have luck on my side I look 21. I have raven black hair and brown eyes. I’m not quite tall but I’m not short either, I’m 5’7 and that makes me taller than my older sister, I’m not skinny either I’m just curvy in all the right places or that’s what I’m told. My older sister is 20, her name’s October. You can say it our parents were hippies; she was born in October so they thought that name fitted her perfectly. She’s slightly shorter than me, 5’3, if you can call that slightly shorter. She’s a natural blond but now she has big black and dark blue braids. I’ve always thought she was and is prettier than me but then again she thinks the same way that I’m prettier than she is. I guess that’s just the way girls are and always will be.

It was a cold Saturday morning in November. We stood in front of the old house we just bought with our inheritance money. We decided to spend it on a house we both would love instead of going crazy and party all night for a month, the house would last longer than a party. It had been hard to say good bye to the few friends we had back home but somehow we made it all the way here. I studied the house carefully, I was new here and I can get lost easily, that’s just the way I am, so I wanna remember what my house looks like, sounds stupid I know. It was a 2 story house with 3 bedroom, huge kitchen, living room 2 bathrooms and a basement. The kind of house our parents always wanted. I looked around the neighborhood; every single house looked like it was empty. It was 5 am and I guess everybody’s sleeping, it’s a Saturday. Me and October had been driving all night and now we had nothing more to do but wait for the truck that had all our stuff.

We sold most of the old stuff that was in our house but of course we kept the family heirlooms and our parent’s favorite furniture. But most of the stuff got sold. We were gonna go shopping for a new couch, coffee table and some other stuff we needed next week, till then we just had to sit on the floor if we desperately wanted to sit in the living room.

“Well we can stand out here waiting for the truck and freeze you boobies off or we can go inside and clean up a little” October said smiling to me. That’s my sister for you, always talking about boobs; I’m starting to think she’s obsessed with them. “Clean? With what? Our sleeves?” I asked looking over to her, okay I may sound bitchy but I’m really not. I’m just not a morning person that’s all. “I brought some cleaning products with us” she said, “figures” I huffed. “Come on now Autumn, it’ll keep us busy and time will fly by” she said walking to her car. I opened the trunk and just like she said she brought some cleaning products, actually a whole box filled with them. I just rolled my eyes and followed her into the house.

The air in side was heavy and the smell was no better. It wasn’t a new house; in fact it was pretty old. An old lady that just recently passed had owned it and since she didn’t have any close family to leave it to it was sold. I walked around the house turning the lights on in every room. October went into the kitchen a placed the box onto the counter. “Okay lets get started, I wanna get rid of this smell” I said wrinkling my nose she just laughed at me and threw me a cloth. We began to scrub off the old peoples smell and before we knew it, it was 10 am and we heard a loud deep horn honking. I looked out and saw our truck. I ran outside to the truck and almost slipped on the steps. I yelled for October to come out.

“Can you fucking keep it down out there people are trying to sleep” I hear someone yell. When I looked around I saw a guy leaning outside the window in the house next to ours. He had black longish hair and his skin was flawless and pale. I have to admit he was really good looking and he looked older than October. “I’m sorry” I said back to him and smiled. He just rolled his eyes and shook his head as he went back inside and closed the window. “I’m sorry what?” October asked as she walked out. “nothing, just keep it down Grumpy McGrumpy lives next door to us” I replied, she gave me a weird look and shook her head as she walked past me to the truck.

The guys from the truck company helped us with the heavy stuff and in 4 hours we had everything in the house. I was sitting in the stairs that lead to the second floor. “I’m starving” I said, October had started unpacking the dishes in the kitchen. “I know me too, we need to do some shopping.” She replied from the kitchen. I got up and grabbed the keys from the hallway table. “Are you coming with me?” I asked “yes Autumn I’m coming with you and no you can not drive” she said grabbing her coat. I handed her the keys. We walked out to the car and I looked over to the house next to ours and I saw two guys walking out. It was the guy from before and the other one was a little taller with dark hair, he was fairly skinny like October. I smiled to them, the taller guy smiled back but the guy from before rolled his eyes and walked over to his car. I wasn’t watching where I was going and walked right into my sister who stood there with a smile.

“We haven’t been here a day and you’re already looking at boys” she said jokingly. “Shut up” I said and walked over to the car. “So was Grumpy McGrumpy one of those guys?” she asked “yeah the shorter one, now open the car it freezing out here” I said wrapping my coat tighter around me. I got in the car and watched as the guys drove off down the street.

We headed over to the super market we got everything that we needed and also plenty of stuff we didn’t need, most of it beer. When we got back to the house we noticed that the guys just got home too. I got out of the car and quickly grabbed one bag from the trunk. I took it inside and when I got back outside I saw October standing by the car talking to the taller guy, I rolled my eyes, the guys always went for October first. I walked up to them “hey am I supposed to do all the labor here?” I asked her trying to ignore the guy. “Stop Autumn, I want you to meet Mikey, he lives next door with his brother Gerard” I looked up to the guy and smiled “hey” I said quickly “so are you gonna help me with this or can I just leave you out here with this” I asked her. “Here let me help you” Mikey said grabbing two bags and he walked inside with October. I grabbed the last bag and closed the trunk. “Here let me help” I mocked him as I slowly walked up to the house, I looked over to the house next door and saw Grum… I mean Gerard standing in the window looking at me. I smiled to him and I couldn’t believe it he smiled back. I must have blushed or something because it looked like he chuckled a little, I nodded my head for him to come over; he nodded and left the window. Okay wow do I wait for him here or do I go inside? Okay I’ll just wait.

He walked up to me with a smile “need help with that sugar?” he asked pointing to my bag. Sugar? Oh wow, isn’t he just the cutest? Okay Autumn snap out of it and say something. “That’d be super” I said, oh my god, super? Where the fuck did that come from? It’s so obvious my parents were hippies I sometimes talk like them. “here let me take this of your hands” he said taking the bag, “my name’s Gerard by the way” he continued as we walked up to my house “I’m Autumn” I said smiling to him. “Autumn? Were your parents…?” I cut him off “yeah big time, free spirit and all, my sisters name is October and if I were you I wouldn’t ask her about that” I warned him. He just nodded and we went into the kitchen where October and Mikey were sitting and talking.

“I brought over more hands to help” I said sitting down next to October by the kitchen table. She stood up “so you’re the most talked about Grumpy McGrumpy” she said smiling to him. I swear to god I think she enjoys embarrassing me. “What?” he asked as he laughed a little “nothing really just my sister being annoying, you know older siblings always bugging ya” I said trying to save myself here. “Yeah I know the feeling” Mikey said looking up to Gerard. “Well great we got this figured out, Mikey younger Gerard older. Good to know that” October said stating the obvious. We all sat by the kitchen table talking.

“So what is there to do around here?” I asked and I was getting a little bored just sitting here. “Well there isn’t much to do here but there’s a kick ass club we go to on weekends” Gerard said smiling. His smile was just so enchanting; I could easily just stare at him for hours. “Okay now that sounds interesting, we have to check that out, right Autumn?” October said stabbing her elbow in my ribs. “Huh? Yeah right” I said as she snaps me back to reality. “Then what do you say we go there tonight?” Mikey asked “that sounds like an ace plan” October replied. “Great” Gerard said standing up “Me and Mikey are gonna let you girls get ready and shit, and then we’ll pick you up around 8 or 9” he continued. Me and October just nodded and they were off. I looked over to my older sister smiling “oh my god he’s just so cute” I said dreaming. “Get a hold of your knickers girl, he’s 23” she said. “And? Since when has age been an issue?” “I’m just saying, I don’t wanna see my cute little baby sister hurt” “hey who are you calling little, shorty?” I jumped up from the kitchen table and ran up stairs to my room with October following behind me, she didn’t like it that I reminded her that I was taller than her but I loved doing it. I got to my room and closed the door behind me and locked it. “I’ll get you later, you have to come out later if you wanna see Grumpy again” she said and walked to her room.

The hours passed and before I knew it I heard a knock on the door. I unlocked my room and peeked outside to make sure October wasn’t anywhere near. She could still attack me at anytime, that is if she hadn’t forgotten that I called her shorty, she really hated that. I ran down the stairs and opened the door. “Hi, umm I hope you don’t mind us bringing a friend over.” Gerard said as he walked in like he’s known us for years, Mikey followed his lead and another guy “no it’s okay as long as you’ll protect me from the evil seed of Freddy Kruger” I said as heard October opening her bedroom door and walk out “okay great, Autumn this is Frank, Frank this is…. Wait, what? The evil seed of whom? Are you two fighting now?” Gerard said a little confused. He looked so cute like that. “No we’re not fighting, she’s just pissed I called her shorty oh and really nice to meet you Frank” I said now hiding behind Gerard. “Oh you can’t hide from me forever you little brat” October said walking up to the guys. They all had a confused look on their faces it was damn cute “oh yes I can. I’ll just get my super hero Gee to protect me at all times” I said laughing. “Hold up, what did you call me?” Gerard asked looking back to me “my super hero Gee, sorry can’t I call you Gee?” I asked feeling like a complete idiot. “Sure sugar you can call me whatever you want” he said smiling to me.

After exchanging a few words with October and Frank was introduced to her we called a cab and went to the club. It was pretty crowded and when I looked over to October I noticed that look in her eyes that she gets when she wants some action. She looked over to me and was about to say something but I just rolled my eyes and cut her off “I know, I know sis just be careful and don’t leave me here alone with these nut jobs for too long” I said and she walked off. Me and the guys walked up to the bar and ordered our drinks.

~October’s POV~

I’m not sure if I should leave her with those guys but they look decent enough. I should be able to trust them. I watched as they took my sister to the bar and there sat two other guys they seemed to know, one was blond with the most awesome eyes I’ve ever seen, the other had somewhat of an afro and his hair was reddish. Well she seemed to be having fun and man she can hit on that guy. Twirling her hair, giggling and laughing at every word he said. I shook my head and walked on to the dance floor. The music they were playing in here was okay and you could dance to it. Finally they put on my favorite Pantera song and I closed my eyes as I danced to it. In the middle of the song I could feel someone wrapping their arms around my waist from behind and pulling me into their body. I was gonna make a scene when I looked behind me there was this beautiful blond haired girl. Her hair was down to her shoulders, she had bluish eyes, and her skin was flawless and soft. Her lips were full and she reminded me of Scarlett Johansson.

The girl didn’t say anything just smiled and grabbed my hips tighter. I didn’t stop her, I was bisexual and I loved having her hands on my hips. Her grip was so soft and yet so dominating. I could feel her softly pulling me into a dark corner of the club till she finally turned me around and slammed me against the wall. Her lips met mine in a passionate kiss. This kiss was something else; it was like I’ve never kissed before. Her hands held my hands above my head, pinning me against the wall. She broke the kiss and smiled to me, I smiled back and she licked across my jaw line. Her lips ravished my neck, I don’t know what it was but I felt like I was in heaven. She was nothing like all the others I’ve been with, something about the lust in her made me need her and the way she was nibbling on my neck was almost magical. She pushed her hips against me, that’s when she bit me, I could feel her teeth sink into my flesh but the lust in my body denied me to feel any pain. My heart that was beating so hard started to slow down and my body felt weak. She let go of my hands and took one step back from me. I was so weak and cold, my body slid down to the floor and she just stood there looking down to me with a smile.
