They say twins have a special connection, a connection that’s unsurpassed by any other. They’ll act alike, talk alike and do everything the other one does. They don’t know how right they are, I just never thought my twin, Breanna, would do him. He was mine, I loved him!
Sure, it wasn’t like she’d known, but that didn’t matter. I can still remember the day I found them together…
Flashback
“Brian!” she shrieked, quickly covering herself up, a look of mortification on her face. There was no guilt, just embarrassment that her brother had caught her ass-naked being fucked by his ‘best friend’. “Get out!” she ordered.
I wanted to slap her then and there, but the look on his face told me everything: He was the one cheating, and she had no clue about our relationship.
He didn’t have that desperate look on his face that you’d expect your lover to have if you just caught them cheating. His was more a look of ‘you weren’t suppose to find out like this’.
Sure, I’d known from the beginning that he wasn’t gay--- that he was only bi, and that he preferred woman… But I loved him…
“I’m sorry,” I muttered before fleeing the room. I expected him to follow me, but when the sound of the head board hitting the wall picked up almost immediately, something inside me shattered.
End of Flashback.
That’s what got me here. I didn’t care anymore, because I hated her as much as I hated him.
But she was my twin, and a part of me hated the way she was sobbing and shaking right now, but the other 99.9% of me let out a menacing snicker.
“Zacky,” she sobbed, cradling his head in her lap, as his blood poured around the two of them. “Baby, don’t leave me.”
His pale lips grazed against her wrist. “I love you, Bree, I love you so much,” he said in a soft and weak tone. He wouldn’t last long now. “I’m sorry.”
“Ha!” I laughed out loud, “This bitch has fucked with your head, Zack. You love me not her!”
With his last bit of energy, drawing his last breath, he looked me square in the eye and delivered the most hurtful blow, “I never loved you,” he said in a dark and truthful tone before falling limp onto my sister’s lap, his life meeting it’s end thanks to my bullet that was lodged in his chest.
Bree screeched. “Zacky! Fuck, no baby!” she sobbed.
I slapped her hard, “Shut the fuck up, you spoiled whore!”
She sat there stunned, crying harder but silently. With ragged breathing she choked out, “Brian, why are you doing this?”
“You took him from me!” I screamed at her. Before standing back and raising my right arm, which clutched a 9mm berretta.
