In Your Honor
“I‘ve got another confession to make, I‘m your fool
Everyone‘s got their chains to break, holding you
Were you born to resist, or be abused?”
“Here. Now.”
He never speaks in complete sentences, his voice a shard of broken glass cutting through the anticipation in Hunter’s already frayed nerves. He’s tense, and the hood does nothing to relax him; it’s stuffy in there, clinging to his face with relentless fervor, trapping the heat of his short breaths and leaving him utterly lost in the world, except for that voice. Commanding. Domineering.
His hands are bound at his lower back, and as he twists them helplessly, he finds no ounce of forgiveness in the rough weave. The filaments bite against his flesh, to the bone, burning and rubbing him raw. But this is the way he likes to play, the way he’s always played. If nothing else, Hunter’s grateful for Jade’s lack of pretense. He’s shoved forward, face first into a wall, hard enough to send pain shooting through his mashed nose and the bones under his right cheek. The gratefulness in Hunter pulls back hard like a leash restraining a rabid dog.
“Too quiet,” Jade says with some annoyance. His cruel fingers shove into the back of Hunter’s neck again, grinding his covered face harder into the wall. “Show me pain.”
Hunter groans, not to mollify him, but for the simplistic reason of the discomfort of the hard plaster and the bunched material. His kinked neck is throbbing, almost as if his spinal cord is begging for release from its twisted prison. Hunter knows he could easily overthrow Jade—he’s small, and he would never expect such a resistance from him.
Jade wouldn’t expect a lot of things. The familiar grind of Jade’s denim-clad crotch presses sharply and rotates against him, pointy teeth catching skin on the back of his neck, sending waves of electricity through Hunter’s body, his own growing erection trapped against the wall. He moans.
Oh, he loves it, there’s no denying. The pounding insistence of his heart tells him so, the rush of blood flowing downward, a hot magma lighting his veins on fire. But there’s a deeper recess, a dark cavern even Jade hasn’t plundered. Detestation fills it, created a swirling cesspool, sloshing each time Jade bends him over and shoves his face into the mattress. It grows and overflows with each ounce of pleasure Jade makes him feel, each small smile in passing that is innocent, but beneath the veneer hides a promise, dark and expertly hidden. Jade had ripped and ravaged every part of him, torn him open without mercy and sifted through the contents, but he could never find this rebellion, never see this secret burning hate.
“Turn.” Neediness was stalking in the shadows of his tone, glowing eyes of a predator peeking out at the prey. Hunter had barely began to obey when Jade snaps him around and slams him back to the wall. Beneath the black hood he can’t see much except a darkened blotch collage of the room, but even without the hood, he’s helpless. Murky mahogany pins him with force a man much stronger than Hunter couldn’t tackle.
“It’s gone,” he says, chest rising and falling with Hunter’s heartbeat. Jade shoves his face inches from Hunter’s own, accusation inciting fear deep within him, rocking the calm surrounding his deepest kept secret. “Where is the passion? Where is my fire?” Guilt floods the scene, and the cesspool rages right back. A war inside of him is clawing itself to the surface, the breaking point had come.
Jade pulls back and a hard slap reverberates harshly in Hunter’s ears. He doesn’t feel it’s sting. Something uglier, even more so than the bile rising in his throat and the putrid stench of spite, masks everything. Hate, as raw and pure as an emotion could be, breaks from it’s iron-wrought cage and looks for it’s meal with greedy eyes. As Jade rips off the hood and clamps his mouth down on Hunter’s own, the beast spots its main course.
Hunter kisses back with a wave of fervor so startling Jade staggers backward, but Hunter walks with him, exerting his own power and his own will, refusing to free that mouth. Wrists writhe and struggle and try to break their bonds. Pain is all his arms known, even as Jade’s knees hit the back of the bed and he goes tumbling. Hunter keeps his balance and yanks an arm loose from it’s constraint. He makes quick work of the other and looms over Jade dangerously, eyes lit with a lust and a vengeance. Jade is sprawled across the mattress, eyes wide and baffled.
“I’m taking it back,” Hunter replies, descending upon him like a vulture, slithering up his body with the cunning of a snake, “with interest.”
Jade tries to struggle, but Hunter’s hands strike too quickly. Jade’s arms are pinned above his head, his hair a tangled disarray. The tables are turned and he knows it, his power drained into Hunter. A different man hovers over him, rules the body which he had broken so many times before.
“Hunter…” Jade tries, but one of the hands trapping his wrists moves to his jaw and grips, biting into the muscles, silencing the words before they could form.
“Mine is yours, and yours is mine,” he growls, grinding into his lover, his slave. Jade whimpers and his hips raise and seek his warmth wantonly. “There is no divide.”
And then Hunter kisses him, but it isn’t the demanding, needy creature it was before. No, that would be too easy, too straightforward. It’s soft, lulling, wet. For a moment they’re both lost, both drowning in the submission, tongues lapping and tasting, saliva clinging to quivering lips. They chart this unfamiliarity together, let it carry them away to an undiscovered paradise. Hunter loves him in these precious minutes, a long lost thing he never thought he would see, those delicious delusions from the beginning. All those things they should have been, what they could have become.
Hunter bites, catches Jade’s tongue, tastes the coppery-bitter blood. They were never those things, never that couple. The beast comes back, and Hunter can’t wait any longer. He aims to conquer and to claim, and the warm body beneath him begs to be pillaged.
His pulsating impatience weighs him down at once, and his shaking hand works clumsily at the buttons on Jade’s pants. There’s no time for preparation, and scarcely enough for Hunter to get Jade’s pants to his knees. How many times had Jade taken him dry? Enough for him to know blood was his only lube. And the burn, oh, the fierce streams of fire that would shoot from his body, delicious and despicable at once.
He yanks his own pants down, just enough to free his straining cock, purpled head aimed at his goal. He plunges in, delighting in Jade’s shriek of pain, pumping to its music. He’s floating on the euphoria of the near-impossible fit, the tight walls of flesh pushing against him, trying to force him out. Skin slaps against skin as he nearly pulls out and then rams back in again and again. He searches for any exposed flesh he can, letting his mouth frolic on this hallowed playground.
Jade is vocal and it’s making him delirious, and he knows he can’t hold out. Fingers find a tuft of Jade’s hair and buries there, yanking back so hard Jade’s neck is exposed and lifted off the bed, veins straining and Adam’s apple bobbing, trying to swallow. Hunter can feel it, the release bubbling in the pit of his belly, coursing out of him and into Jade. He thrusts through his orgasm, moving easier with this new lubrication, the come squelching and messy. Jade’s own erection still bobs between them, neglected and never really thought of.
Hunter is not like Jade. He grasps it roughly, stroking, working his thumb over the head. It’s not long before Jade climaxes, squirting over Hunter’s hand, his pelvis thrusting to gain those last precious moments of bliss. Jade falls limp, a sweaty heap, lungs working to catch the air, pushing his chest up and down. Hunter lets go of his wrists, pulls out and falls down beside him. Purple bruises brand Jade, a reminder of this night, a reminder of Hunter’s conquest.
“That,” Jade says in between breaths, “that was amazing.”
He rolls over to Hunter, arms coiling around him, mouth seeking mouth. Hunter allows the kiss and hopes it’s a good one, hopes it’s enough to placate him forever. There’s something dirty inside him now, something soiled from this, and he can’t stand it any longer. He became something he didn’t fathom he could be, and he won’t take the risk again.
“I’m glad,” Hunter says, rolling away. He sits up, tugs his pants on. Jade stares at him with an understanding but tries to reach out to him with that allure only he can possess anyway, but Hunter will have none of it. “It’s done.”
Jade doesn’t argue with the finality, and Hunter doesn’t give him a chance to start. He moves to the open door, ready to walk out, ready to leave it all. But that damned truth of it all is that a part of him doesn’t want to, and when his foot stands at the threshold, he doesn’t move. Leaving like this would bastardize everything, offer no closure and bring them back to this place again.
Hunter turns around and regards him, arm on the white frame for support. A spark of hope twinkles in his lover’s eyes, so close to the match lighting his victory. He’s gorgeous on the bed, pants still caught at his knees, come and sweat and blood clinging to him. Dirty and ruffled, so much Hunter wants to wallow in his filth.
“I loved you,” Hunter says. Keeping a hold on himself is harder than any he had to exert on Jade. “You broke me, and I loved you.”
“You broke me in return,” Jade points out. He smiles, but it’s a grimace, somehow sweet but mostly bitter. “How do you feel?”
“Empty.”
And isn’t it the truth of it all, the paradox? Jade says nothing, but with even less than that Hunter knows he can relate. It was time to leave this once and for all, to take back what was his. When he turns to leave this time, he walks out, but it will never be the same for them again. It was the hardest thing he ever had to do, but when the cool night air hit his skin in a comforting puff of wind, he was free.
“You gave me something that I didn't have, but had no use
I was too weak to give in, too strong to lose
My heart is under arrest again, but I break loose.”
