When It All Ends

Toshiya and I lay in bed, his fingers entwined in mine.
His chocolate brown eyes opened, exposing dark slits. “ Love you Kyo.” He whispered.
I blinked then smiled at him. “ Love you too Toshiya.”
That brought a smile to his face. God I loved it when he smiled.
“ You want to go back to sleep koi?” he asked, his fingers ruffling through my blonde hair.
“ Its up to you koibito.”
“ Sleep sounds so good… you’re so warm and comfy.”
“ Really now, am I that nice to sleep with?”
“ You’re like a teddy bear or my favorite blanket.”
I kissed his forehead. “ I’m glad I can bring you comfort koibito.”
He closed his eyes again and smiled at me lazily.
“ Sleep well koibito, I’ll be here when you wake.”
“ I know you… will.”
I closed my eyes again. His arms holding me tightly. I loved mornings like this where we stayed in bed until noon or later, holding each other like it would all soon end.
