“Bill, I thought I told you to never wear that outfit on an extended service. You know how much trouble the outfit gets you in.”
“At least it gets the job done,” Bill murmured, head bowed. “Don’t worry, Dave. I’m sure that if anyone tries to make a move on me, you know I’ll leave.”
“Or kick their arses like you did the last time,” Dave said quietly, staring down at Bill.
Bill flushed. “The guy had me tied up while I was on break and he tried to molest me, what was I supposed to do?” He stared at Dave.
“You could have asked him to remove the bindings,” Dave replied. “Or you could toss the outfit for a more…less revealing outfit.”
“I like giving the men a little tease,” Bill said, smiling sweetly and twisting around. Said twist made the impossibly short skirt flare up and show off what Bill was wearing underneath and milky thighs. “You should know that.”
“Which is why I worry,” Dave said, suddenly concerned. “When you told me what happened the last time could only be the start. What could be binds now could be rape later.”
“Oh, stop worrying so much,” Bill said, reaching up to gently card a hand through Dave’s hair. “You’re already going grey.”
“All because of you,” Dave retorted, removing the hand from his hair. “Get going. They want you there by four so you can make dinner by six.”
“…Did you tell them about my cooking?” Bill asked tentatively.
“I might have,” Dave replied. “No matter. You’re going to be there for a month, so it might be a good idea to have you cook. The one who called said that no one in the house could cook, so they eat whatever’s easy.”
Bill made a face at the mention of microwave-cooked food. “Yeah, I guess they do need a cook,” he said, looking at the floor where his suitcase lay at his feet before looking back up. “Wish me luck, Dave. This is my first service where I’m away so long.”
Dave nodded, pulling Bill into a hug. “You be good,” he said. “Try not to get into trouble.”
“I can’t make any promises,” Bill said, returning the hug briefly before pulling away and picking up his suitcase, “but I can at least try.”
Dave smiled, looking at the clock. “I’ve held you long enough,” he said, turning back to Bill. “Enough of me mothering you; get going before I get second thoughts.”
Bill smiled and nodded. “See you in a month,” he said, turning and leaving.
Dave watched him get into the cab and drive off before sighing heavily. He silently prayed to whatever god that would listen that Bill would be fine. He always worried when Bill was going to a house with males because it normally spelled trouble in the form of hormones.
“No use in worrying about it now,” Dave muttered to himself, walking up the stairs.

Bill watched the scenery pass by in a blur, wondering how much longer he had to spend in the musty smelling cab and the driver wouldn’t stop nattering on about inane things. It was slowly irritating Bill, so he went to staring out the window while he lightly bounced his leg. Evening was slowly descending upon the small town, casting everything in shades of the sunset. It was then that the cab came to a slow stop in front of a two-story house with a yard full of overgrown grass and weeds popping up everywhere. The house itself looked in need of another paint job and shingles that needed to be replaced. By the looks of the house on the outside, it seemed as though no one’s lived in the house for a while and Bill stared at it.
“Are you sure this is the place?” Bill asked.
“Sure is,” the driver replied, turning back to Bill with a smile. “Don’t be fooled by the outside; the boys inside are about as lazy as a slug and don’t do anything.”
Bill made a face, imagining what the innards looked like. “Well, thanks,” he said, gathering his suitcase and clambering out of the cab without flashing the driver. “Dave paid you, right?”
The driver nodded, turning back to the front. “Someone will be here at the beginning of next month to pick you up.” With that, the driver sped off, leaving Bill in a cloud of dust.
Bill coughed lightly and stared up at the house, looking for a clear path to the front door but found none. Sighing softly, Bill started walking through the grass, his mind on what could possibly be inside if the yard and house looked this bad.
