Chapter 1
Moshi, Moshi. I said and waited for a response. No answer came so I went to hang up the phone, just as I was about to put the phone back in its cradle, I heard a voice. I put the phone back up in my ear and only heard a date, the address and time to be at this address, then nothing. The mysterious person on the other end of the line had hung up. I was a bit
confused as to what this person wanted, but I was determined to find out. Never let it be said the Camui Gackt had no sense of adventure! I knew that if I went to this address that I would miss work, I already had 4 points against me. You see where I work, a casino, you are given point demerits for things such as, missing work, being late, and so forth. Each "crime" has its own point value. You only have 8 points per year from the date you started,at that point it starts over, but if you manage to get the 8 points within that year then you are terminated from your employment. Oh well if I miss work today that will give me 7 points, I will really have to be on my toes from then on. Well I should be having a shower, so I can get ready to get to this mysterious address today. As I was walking in the shower I remembered that I had to call in to work, and tell them that I was sick, or someting. After having done that I start my shower and bathe, I couldn't help but to think that this was someting VERY important, and that it would change my life forever.
After 2 hours had gone by I was pacing my living room in my appato looking for something to do, I have to admit that I was getting anxious and that I was nervous as hell! I decided to go out for a bit and get something to eat, I really am a horrible cook, I grab my coat and head out. I went to a small corner cafe, where I knew the food was good, I sat down and waited for someone to come and take my order. The waitress came by and I decided that I wanted a cup of coffee and some soup. I sat there pondering what could be waiting for me at this address, and a sudden feeling of being watched came over me. I looked around to see if someone in the cafe was staring at me, nothing I saw no one! Now I have to confess that my nerves are a bit edgy, you see I not only work in casino as a dealer, but I have also been known to use my other "skill" on occasion, you see I really won't get pointed out, my being a deals als all a cover for my real profession, I am an assassin. So as you can see why my nerves are really on edge, I know someone is watching me. As soon as the feeling is there it is gone! Just like it was never there, thats very strange to me as in the past I have felt someone watching me there is always some "reidue" of their being there. This time nothing! I try to shrug it off, I look down at my watch, oh no if I don't leave now I won't get to the address in time. I hurry up and finish my coffee, my soup is untouched, and threw some yen down on the table. I get to my car and the damn thing won't start! After two tries it fires up. thats what I get for buying a vintage car. as I pull out of the parking garage I speed off to my mysterious destination.
Well tell me what you think. Good, bad, don't know? constructive criticism is always welcome. If you like it I will continue, if you don't like it then I can at least say I tried.
