chapter 10

Chapter 10 I wake up the next morning with my head killing me. I pull the blanket over my head and moan. I turn over to my side and keep the blanket over my head to keep the sunlight out of my face. I have never felt this way before. I don't even care if Christian is in the bed Or not. "Good morning Morgan." Christian tries to pull the blanket off me and I hold onto it tight. "How you feeling?" Christian asks. "My head is killing me, leave me alone." I manage to say. I can hear Christian laughing. "Well I got something for your head." I slowly pull the blanket off my head and shield my eyes and managed to get on my elbow. "What?" I ask, my head throbbing really badly. "Aspirin and a glass of water." I nod carefully. "Thanks." I take the aspirin and then the glass of water and quickly take them and then pull the blanket back over my head and lay back down and close my eyes. "Wake me up later." I whisper to Christian. I fall back to sleep.

I don't know when I wake up, but I'm feeling much better than I thought I was going to feel, but I still feel a little sick. I lay there staring at the ceiling when I hear someone come inside. "How are you feeling Morgan?" I turn to see Christian at the door, "A little better, thanks." Christian comes over and sits on the bed next to me smiling. "Never had a hangover before?" I sigh, "Nope." Christian smiles. "So it's the first time you ever were drunk huh?" I carefully nod. "Yeah and I don't ever want to get drunk again, I'm lucky I didn't puke my guts out." Christian laughs, "You weren't that drunk, if you were really drunk then you might of." I sigh, "Yeah well that was the only time it's gonna happen I guess."

I lay there not moving. Christian lays down next to me and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me so my head is resting on his shoulder. "What a night."Christian whispers. I whisper, "I don't remember much, but I do remember feeling good." Christian laughs, "Well it was an incredible night." I don't say anything, because I don't remember much, just feeling really wonderful. Christian looks down at me and I'm looking up at him in his eyes. "Not like the other times?" I ask in a whisper. Christian shakes his head, "No, this was different." I sigh. "Well I'm glad I got to celebrate Christmas with you." I smile. Christian nods his head, "I'm glad I got to celebrate it with you too." Christian leans in and kisses me gently; I cup the side of his face in my hand and respond to the kiss.

Christian breaks it to ask in a whisper, "Are you up to eating something?" Christian smiles. "Sure, but I don't feel like going anywhere." Christian sits up. "I'll bring it in here." I nod carefully. "Just fruit, I don't think I can eat anything else." I sigh, "and a bottled water." I add. Christian gets up and leaves. I lay back down and stare at the ceiling, trying to remember last night; I remember bits and pieces. Later Christian brings me a bowl of fruit he cut up for bottled water and me. I eat it slowly. I start to feel better, but I don't get up and decide to write in my journal. It's getting full. Soon I'll need another one. I have a few notebooks I had packed in the carryon, they weren't big, but they were going to be for notes I was going to take for the contest, but of course we never got there. I didn't do much, just lay in the bed and rested. I couldn't believe it was the day after Christmas.

I often wonder what's going on back home and I've never really stopped believing we were going to be rescued. I also feel guilty for sometimes not wanting to be rescued. I never told Christian that of course, he would probably hate something or me for thinking like that. I just know that I'm missing my family and friends. Later that night as I lay there with my arm wrapped around Christian's waist, my head on his chest. Our bodies pressed together naked of course. We don't wear any clothes to bed anymore, because there have been nights were I've wanted him and he has wanted me. "So what should we do on New Years?" Christian asks me. I sigh, "Well I don't know, do you have any resolutions for the next year?" I ask as I lift up my head to look down at Christian. Christian shakes his head. "No, I don't have any for next year." I sigh and put my head back on his chest. "I don't either, I haven't made them since I was a kid." I whisper to Christian. "I'm just hoping those pirates don't come to this side of the island." Christian whispers softly. "I know Christian." I yawn and then whisper, "Good-night Christian." I relax so I can fall asleep, it doesn't take long and I hear Christian whisper, "Good night Morgan".

(Sorry this one is short too, don't worry more chapters are coming soon.)
