Okay guys next chappy. Now I wasn’t too sure about this chappy I’ve been humming and harring
for days about whether to put it up for days but in the end I just thought I’d let you guys decide...
“And he was really Gee? I mean normal Gee?” Mikey asked, stunned by Frank telling him that morning’s events. Frank nodded. “Definitely. He called me Frankie.” Mikey nodded slowly. “Mikey, you gotta try and remember...what was Steven like? Why would Gee be so scared of him?”
Mikey shook his head. “I dunno. I was really young at the time, to be honest I don’t remember him that well in general. Hang on, his parents still live around here. Maybe talk to them, find out where he is, what he’s doing? That kind of stuff...might help us understand...?”
Frank bit his lip thoughtfully. “Well it’s the only real idea we have so I guess we have to. Ray can watch Gerard for us for a while.”

Mikey stood before the door, Frank at his side and knocked firmly. A minute or so later a woman opened the door. “Yes? May I help you?” She looked from one boy to the other.
“Hi, Ms. Greene? I don’t know if you remember me, my mum used to be friends with you, Mikey Way? You’re son used to babysit me and my brother Gerard?”
“Oh yes! Yes, of course! Mikey! Come in please!” The old woman bustled the two men into the house, asking them if they wanted coffee and seating them in the living room. After 10 minutes or so they were all sitting down, steaming beverages in their hands. “So what brings you here Mikey?”
“Well I was hoping to ask a couple of questions about Steven actually? Gerard and I thought it’d be nice to you know, get in touch again?”
“Oh right. Yes. Well, um...Steven doesn’t live here anymore, though he is in town at the moment just got back from a year working in New York City. He’s staying at a friend’s place...” Something about the way she said this seemed almost relieved? Or scared? Mikey couldn’t be quite sure.
“Oh right, what’s he’s doing now?”
“Umm…he’s...um...self employed, a sales company, you know the type.” She gave an awkward laugh. “Hence why he can work from here too.”
“Oh right, so when did he get back then?” Mikey asked.
“Around a month ago now I guess.” Frank tensed slightly exactly when Gerard had...

“So you think Gerard had another run in with him?” Ray asked and Frank nodded, looking toward Mikey. “Yeah and he...”
“Mikey?” Mikey spun round to look at Gerard who was looking rather forlorn. “I’m hungry...”
“Oh yeah Gee. Of course. Umm...can you do me a favour sweetie and just wait upstairs for me? I’ll be up in 10 minutes or so and I’ll bring you a sandwich or something kay?” Gerard cocked his head to the side slightly. “What you all talking about?”
“Just...ummm...music stuff.” Frank told him. “Remember I play the guitar?” Gerard nodded slowly, seeming a little unsure with this answer. Then he shrugged. “Kay!” He bounded off up the stairs, to go play with his old Spitfire.
Mikey sighed deeply and turned back to his friends. “Sorry Frank...carry on...”
“Yeah well I think that whatever he did to Gerard when he was kid resurfaced when he saw him recently...I mean that’s how it happens right? A bad memory? Someone kinda pushes it to the back of their mind and then you get something that triggers it...?”
Bob frowned. “I guess it could work like that. I mean I’ve been reading up on regression cases and that would fit but it would hafta be a helluva of a ‘bad memory’ to cause this kind of reaction...”
“Don’t suppose there’s anything on how to help him is there?”
“It depends what stance you take...some people say drugs...some say just talking it out and convincing the ‘child’ of what happened but for that to happen we’d have to know exactly what did happen...and even then that could go wrong...” Bob sighed deeply before shrugging his shoulders. “I don’t know, I’m only going on school psychology and what I’ve read here...”
“You did psychology??” Frank laughed slightly and Bob glared at him. Frank cleared his throat. “Sorry. Does no-one else appreciate the irony?”
“Oh shut up Frank.” Mikey said before biting his lip in thought. “So I guess we’d have to talk to Steven then?”
“What?!” The rest of the band yelled at him, all looking shocked.
“Well there’s no other way of finding out!”
“Mikey!! Did you not listen to anything I just said?!” Bob looked about ready to shake him. “This is seriously bad shit that this guy to Gerard, even if we don’t know what...he’s a dangerous fucker!!”
“Yeah!” Frank agreed. “You saw how his mum was talking about him too! She was petrified of him!! His own mother!!” Mikey sighed. “Well what do you lot suggest then?” This sent the rest of the men into silence. “Exactly. It’s the only idea we have.”
“Dr. Collins?” Ray said suddenly causing Mikey to frown at him. “Find him? Maybe he can help Gerard?”
“That’ll take too long!” Mikey was desperate now. “They’re trying to find him Ray, to take him back...I need to help him now!”
“Well I’m going with you.” Frank rose to his feet. “Cause there’s no way in hell I’m letting you go alone.”
“I’ll come with too.” Bob said and Mikey consented. “Fine. Ray you can try and track down Dr. Collins if you want, but keep an eye on Gerard as well okay?” Ray nodded.
Mikey turned to Frank and Bob. “Let’s do this.”

*Mikey’s POV*
I put the hand break on outside a large building which was the apparent new address of Steven’s company, a self owned electronic company. We all got out the car and walked purposefully towards the entrance. The room was decorated with state of the art design. A long glass desk was in the centre of the entrance with a young woman standing behind it. “Hello there.” She greeted them as we stared around the room in awe. “May I help you?”
“Yeah, I’m here to see Steven Greene?”
“Do you have an appointment?” I shook my head. “Then I’m afraid you’ll have to make one and come back.”
There was no way I was leaving here without at least trying to get some answers. “Look this is important, plus I know he’ll want to see me.” The receptionist sighed before picking up the phone and dialling a couple of numbers. “Name?” she asked as she placed the phone to her ear. “Michael. Michael Way.”
“Alright. Hang on.” After a brief conversation and from what I could hear quite a lot of silence on the other end she told us to go straight up to the top floor.
In the lift Frank was starting to get nervous and jittery. “I have a really bad feeling about this Mikers.”
“Just stay cool.” Bob told him and then the lift pinged. Another state of the art floor. Glass windows from floor to ceiling on one side, white walls on the others. At the end of a long room I could see a man in a suit, leaning on a desk. There were 4 other men standing with him, 2 on each side, bodyguards of some sort. Steven began to walk towards us as we slowly ventured out of the lift. “Mikey!” His voice seemed to portray joy as Steven walked towards us, his guards not far behind. “Little Mikey Way! Well isn’t this a surprise!”
“Hello Steven.” I gave a forced smile.
Steven held out his hand and shook mine forcefully. “How the devil are ya?”
“I’m well thank you.” I said politely. “Who are your friends?” Steven asked glancing at Frank and Bob.
“Frank and Bob, my band mates.”
“Ah yes! The infamous My Chemical Romance. I’ve followed your career with rapt interest. Where’s your brother then? He appears to be missing?”
“Ah yes. He’s a little...ill...”
“Well I’m sorry to hear that. I was looking forward to seeing him again after all this time.” He said with a sinister grin.
I raised his eyebrow. “Long time? And hear was me thinking you saw him recently? A month or something wasn’t it?”
The smile faltered on Steven’s face. “You’re mistaken Mikey. I haven’t seen Gerard in years.”
“Oh right...I must have been misinformed...Gerard’s memory does seem to play tricks on him sometimes.” I could feel the guards getting fidgety and there was something in Steven’s eye that I really didn’t like Frank glanced at his watch. “Mikey. I know we only just got here, but Gerard will be expecting us back.” Good Frank. Nice and smoothly, giving us an excuse to get the outta there.
“Yes of course Frank. Sorry Steven, it was nice to see you again but we really do have to get going.”
“Sorry Mikey, but that ain’t gonna happen.” I didn’t have a chance to react and Steven grabbed me and the guards grabbed Bob and Frank. “Tut Tut Tut Mikey. You really thought you could best me here?”
“What do you mean?” I asked, struggling in his grasp.
“All those questions about Gerard? I’m not going to jail and I’m sorry it’s too much of a risk to just let you all walk away. Well I might...but not without a warning and some...insurance...” He nodded to the guards holding Frank who dragged him, kicking and screaming behind Steven so Mikey could see his petrified face. “We’ll have some fun with him won’t we boys!” Steven said with a hard laugh with the same from all of the guards. I struggled manically trying to break Steven’s grip on my face.
“NO!! Leave him out of this! This is between you and me!” Steven pondered this for a second. “I guess you’re right there. Tell me Mikey...do you have the same...talents as your brother?” I gasped slightly as I realised what had been happening to Gerard all those years ago while I was in bed.
“You bastard.” I spat at him, getting him straight in the eye. He growled deeply before letting go with one hand and smacking me hard round the face. When I finally looked back to him my cheek was already a deep red and starting to go purple. “Mikey!” Frank yelped.
“You’re an idiot Mikey, you know that? I would have kept you here and let your friends go but now...you’re all mine...and I’ll make sure it hurts.” He lowered his voice for the last part and I gulped slightly. Then I felt his probing hands slipping down my body, squeezing my crotch. I looked away in disgust, feeling dirtied. He brought his mouth to my ear and whispered. “Mine.”
Okay well there it is. Next chappy soon hopefully...Slayya
