James: We all got back to the bus after an hour of stuffing our faces with some fucking delicious chocolate-chip pancakes. Ben and Danny were sat in the lounge watching the TV. I didn’t see what they were watching because Ben turned it off as soon as we walked onto the bus. He looked at Danny with a worried look and said “Are you ready?” Danny nodded and they both turned to face us. “Woah, what’s up with you guys? You’re looking a bit glum,” Cam said. This seemed to worry them even further. Okay, something was really up with these two. “Umm… Well…” Danny looked at Ben for help, who smiled reassuringly at him. “MeandBenaretogether,” Danny let out in one long breath. “Wait, what?” Me and Cam said together. Danny sighed deeply trying to calm himself. “Me and Ben are together,” he said again slower so that we could hear him clearly. My eyes went so wide that they felt as though they were going to burst out of my eye sockets. I looked at Ben, who nodded in confirmation. “Wow,” was all I could manage to say. “Are you two okay with that?” Ben asked us. Wait… Two? “What do you mean “two”? There’s three of us here, Ben,” Cam asked. “Oh, I already knew about this. They asked me not to tell you, though, that’s why I didn’t mention it,” Sam answered for them. “Well, I’m okay with it,” I said and smiled at Ben and Danny. “I’m happy for you two.” Ben and Danny both smiled at me in appreciation. “Yeah, I’m fine with it, too,” Cam said. Sam walked up to them and patted Danny’s shoulder. “I told you they’d be fine with it,” He said and walked into the bunk area. Cam, Ben and Danny all sat down on the sofa and started talking. I don’t know what about – don’t really care. I just stood staring at the floor. Jesus, Ben and Danny are so brave to have told us. It must have been really hard for them, I mean, you could tell it was by the look on their faces when they told us. I walked into the bunk area and closed the door behind me.
