*Author's Note - thanks to all of you for the feedback and encouragement. I have a few more story ideas already written down for when this one is finished. Now, I am going to write the next chapter of my Anakin/Padme story Across The Stars because it is the night they finally consummate their marriage and I have people ready to bang me over the head! It's not on this site. Again, thank you so much and please, keep encouraging me! Sometimes when I post a chapter I think, oh, man, this one was really awful!

Summary: Hayden and Natalie deal with feelings they’re not supposed to have.
Warning: It’s fiction, so if either Hayden or Natalie ever read this, it’s made up!
Chapter Eleven
Natalie frowned not wanting her mind to clear and lose the glorious sunburst making love with Hayden always created. Did she say making love? Natalie shook her head to dispel the thought. Sex, she meant sex. Incredible, mind-blowing, gut-wrenching sex. That’s all it was. Insistent hands reached for him, but he shook his head and repeated his sigh.
“Natalie, it’s your phone.”
She heard the insistent buzz again, frustration sweeping through her.
“It will stop,” she assured, her hand lifting to cup his cheek. “I don’t want to talk to anyone else right now.”
A small smile spread Hayden’s lips and he turned his head and kissed her palm.
“You know who it is.”
Natalie jerked back to reality with a dissatisfying thud. Dismay crossed her features and Hayden watched her attempt to deal with it, the emotions flickering through her dazzling eyes.
“It can’t be. He’s on a plane.”
“I’m telling you,” Hayden reached over the side of the bed, “it’s him. I can feel it.” He fished her phone out of her jeans pocket and handed it to her.
Reluctantly, Natalie took the phone and looked at the number. Amazement widened her brown eyes. Flipping it open she held it to her ear.
“Hello?”
“I began to think you weren’t going to answer,” Michael’s voice smiled across the distance. “I know you go everywhere with that thing, but I was beginning to wonder.”
“Where are you?” Natalie’s brows lowered. “You can’t use a cell phone while flying.”
“That’s why I’m calling you,” Michael drawled. “We had to make an emergency landing in Denver. It was no big deal, but they didn’t want to take any chances and now we’re waiting on another one. Who knows how long that will take so I said to myself, how better to spend the time than talking to you?”
He sounded pleased with himself and Natalie looked up at Hayden whose face was so close to hers he had heard every word. Hayden lifted up a little and rolled his eyes causing Natalie to giggle.
“See, I knew you’d miss me!” Michael teased, triumph lacing his voice. “I already miss you, too.”
“That’s not why I was laughing,” Natalie sobered at his words, her stomach rolling at the thought she was making things worse for him. “I just saw something funny.”
Hayden raised his brows in mocking offense and watched Natalie grimace an apology.
“Tell him,” he whispered so quietly, Natalie could only read his lips.
Stricken with dread, Natalie shook her head not listening to Michael.
“Not on the phone,” she mouthed back.
Hayden shrugged and lowered his head until his lips found the soft flesh on her neck. With stealthy expertise he began to leave quiet open-mouthed kisses on the sensitive skin causing her to wriggle in response to the slow heat still simmering just below the surface.
“What was that, Michael? I…didn’t quite hear you,” Natalie struggled to keep the breathless pants at bay as Hayden’s index finger trailed down between her breasts, circled her navel and returned, detouring to smooth over a pouting nipple. She shuddered at the exquisite sensations curling in her belly. Hayden’s quiet chuckle turned her head towards the sound. When her eyes met his he leaned the extra millimeter and kissed the corner of her mouth. The fact that her lips pursed in response encouraged him to go further and his tongue darted between her lips to touch her tongue being careful to not make any noise. Natalie’s eyes closed as the fire in the pit of her belly flashed alive.
“I said I have to go in to Tyler and Banks tomorrow morning. When we got off the plane I went to call you and noticed a phone message. The company wants me to go there and meet with the investment bankers tomorrow.”
“Th…that’s great,” she stuttered and pushed at Hayden hoping he would stop. He pushed back. All the way in. Her teeth clamped down on her bottom lip to muffle any sound. Everything blurred as her body focused on his easy glide into her, filling her completely.
Hayden gave her a lazy grin as he watched her fighting to stay in control. The sexy grin stretched his mouth as he began moving in and out of her with measured strokes that crumbled her into a mass of shivering nerves. He lowered his lips beside her other ear and traced the delicate shell then whispered:
“What if I make you come while you’re talking to him?”
Natalie caught her breath as he began to work diligently to make it happen. The naughty twinkle in his eye when he lifted his head tripped her heart and she frantically tried to interrupt Michael. The blue eyes staring into hers held every promise of not stopping until he achieved his goal and at this rate she would not be able to keep herself from crying out.
“Michael… I really…REALLY…have to go,” Natalie begged, squeezing her eyes shut to cut off the sight of Hayden’s grin.
“No, you have to come,” Hayden whispered, one hand sliding under her leg to lift it higher. The angle of penetration deepened and unable to help herself she began to move with him.
Brrriiinngg!
The sound of Hayden’s phone on the nightstand broke Hayden’s concentration long enough for Natalie to scramble for control. A frustrated gurgle of annoyance started out of him, but Natalie slapped a hand over his mouth.
“Was that a phone?” Michael asked.
“That was the TV,” Natalie cringed at the lie. “Listen, Michael, I really have to go. Can I call you back?”
“No, no, they just announced the plane is here and we’ll be boarding shortly,” Michael sighed. “I’ll call you when I land. Miss you.”
“Bye.”
Natalie punched the phone off and tossed it to the floor as if it had scorched her fingers. Hayden, without leaving the haven of her body, reached for his.
“Hello? Uh, Mom?”
A wicked, evil glint sprang into Natalie’s eyes and she thanked God for the twist of fate. Now it was her turn to lift inquiring eyebrows at him. Hayden’s widened as she lifted her legs around him and began to put him through the same torture. Silken walls clutched at him when he tried to retreat. Pleading eyes met hers and she just smiled and clasped his hips and treated him to the same experience.
“Is that any way to greet your mom?” Alie laughed at his seeming reluctance. “I was just calling to see how you’re doing.”
“Oh…I’m doing fine,” he answered, closing his eyes and praying he didn’t start howling like a wolf baying at the full moon. “In fact, I’m better than fine…I would say my life at this very moment is…perfect.”
A wide, conspiratorial grin beamed up at him for the compliment and he couldn’t help but smile back at her, glad to have this little secret to share. But then she tightened her inner walls and flexed her hips and he almost moaned but choked it off into a cough.
“Are you all right?” Alie asked.
“Yeah, I’m fine. What are you doing? How’s everyone?”
That said Hayden could listen with one ear as his mom began to ramble about all the latest news of each family member and friend while he tried to extricate himself from his lover’s snare. The problem was he wanted to stay her captive. Damn, she was incredibly beautiful when she was aroused with her face all shiny, her hair slightly damp from their love play, her lips red and full, her body supple and enticing! Natalie’s body twisted under him, and the heavy lidded gaze as she fell under the same spell encouraged him to thrust into her in return when he knew he should be pulling away.
“Hayden!”
“Huh! What?” Hayden gulped, his face flaming red as he realized he’d lost conscious thought of his mother on the phone.
“What are you doing? You haven’t listened to a word I’ve said!”
That did it. Hayden wrestled free of Natalie and flopped onto his back, struggling to level his breathing and heart rate.
“I’m sorry, mom. I didn’t mean to get distracted,” Hayden apologized, weakly. “I can’t do two things at once.”
“Well, what are you doing? I said….”
Alie began repeating herself and Hayden played the dutiful son, listening to her and fighting to stay focused. He reminded himself that Natalie wasn’t going anywhere and soon they could continue where they left off.
“I didn’t know Kaylen was going…”
Hayden yelped in surprise and sucked in a sharp breath.
“Hayden! Are you all right?”
Hayden lifted his head and met a pair of mischievous brown eyes gleaming back as Natalie ran her tongue along the rigid length of him. Casting him another alluring glance she reached the head and curved her lips over it slowly sucking him in.
“Oh, hell…” Hayden groaned as he watched her go down on him. His head fell helplessly to the pillow as his body responded to a skill no decent woman should ever have.
“Hayden? Hayden!”
“I stumped my toe, Mom,” Hayden wheezed, biting his lip and grunting.
Natalie mentally patted herself on the back as she heard the painful restraint in his voice.
“Goodness, it must have really hurt for you to carry on like that!” His mom exclaimed.
Hayden pressed his lips together as Natalie’s mouth took him in again.
“I think I’m dying,” he groaned, slapping a hand to his face. “Mom, I gotta go or I’m gonna bleed all over the place.
Natalie’s muffled laugh hummed along his shaft. Unable to help herself she released him, licked along his length again then murmured, “That’s ok. I’ll just swallow it to keep it from going everywhere.”
Hayden’s eyes boggled.
“You’re bleeding?” Alie gasped.
“Mom, I’ll call you back,” Hayden promised. Before she could get out a goodbye he severed the call then loosed a long, low moan, running his hands through his hair and tugging on the ends. “You’re killing me, Nat!”
Natalie flashed him an exultant glance then hollowed her cheeks and rhythmically bobbed her head faster. Caught in her web he lay there while his body grew taut with the need to release the tension that her incredible mouth created. She was evil…evil! But…wow! Whoa, his body stirred in warning. Hayden’s hands frantically grabbed her head and forced her off him. Triumphant laughter pealed from her lips only to be choked off when she realized his intention. In moments, she was turned around and Hayden’s tongue licked hungrily at her. Tremors broke over her. A groan of agreement fell from her and her lips found him again and took him in.
They had never done this before. It had only been to pay her back, but the moment Natalie had joined him he’d lost all sense of reality. Her warm, wet mouth engulfed him, her tongue caressing the underside of his rigid length in rhythmic suction. She sucked him in harder and a new bout of sweat broke over his brow. A moment later he felt that wonderful mouth surround his whole shaft and a shaky moan slipped past his lips, the threat of overload boiling in his veins as every drop of blood left in his body rushed towards the area she manipulated at will. Hayden felt her heady revel in her power as his hips began to move of their own volition. He gritted his teeth, holding on to the last thread of control the only way he knew how…attack her.
Natalie groaned at the forceful touch of Hayden’s tongue sliding over the glistening button at the apex of her thighs. Strong, determined hands jerked her hips forward, his tongue pressing hard against the button, his lips drinking in her essence. A wave of dizziness whirled through her head as the sensation between her legs strengthened. The buzzing between her legs grew so strong she lost her thread of focus and let him go, gasping as she felt herself losing the battle.
Hips unable to stop ground against his face as the power shifted to him. Her thighs stiffened and cramped around his head and the moans of surrender, the hot breath that wafted over his shaft, the knowledge that she was his for the taking increased his efforts. Hayden felt her start to shake and knew she would fall apart at any second. She made one last attempt to take him back into her mouth but he flattened his tongue and rubbed her harder.
“Oh!” Natalie cried out, releasing his member when a spasm of agony took her. “Oh…oh, OH!”
Hayden made a noise signaling his own arousal. It was all she needed. The coming release spiraled through her, shooting out the top of her head, her body quaking violently as it splintered apart. A wail of tortured ecstasy rang in his ears and he tightened his grip on her hips as her body continued to shake in mindless rapture. Her cries grew louder for a few seconds then subsided into incoherent whimpers, her body slumping in exhaustion.
Heavy, gasping breaths blew over him again, the heat almost making him lose his own control. Natalie gave him no time to think. The sweet mouth sucked him in, one gentle hand sneaking to cup him, kneading gently as she redoubled her efforts. The loving of her mouth sent chills through Hayden and he stopped kissing the soft skin of her inner thigh to concentrate on the unbelievable rush raging through him. He lifted and tightened and her hand moved to grasp the base of his shaft while her mouth hollowed reflexively and let her tongue stimulate the overly sensitive flesh. He muttered something unintelligible, his fingers flexing into the firm globes of her rear.
The point of no return reached, Hayden tried to disentangle himself before implosion.
“Mmmm.”
Hayden heard Natalie’s noise of approval as if she tasted something of unfathomable flavor. That did it. He couldn’t wait and didn’t want to. Everything in him locked and strained to unleash the unbearable desire shooting through him where her mouth guided it to go. He exploded into her mouth, the warm, sticky liquid hitting the back of her throat, the muscles working to drink him down. At the same instant he lost all thought and groaned his own version of anguish and bliss. Chills sliced through him, his body shaking in simultaneous response. Her mouth continued to tame him, easing its pressure as he drifted down to earth, her tongue soothing the sensitive flesh. A wave of gratitude swept over him at her loving attention even though he knew she wasn’t aware of the emotions behind her actions. But maybe she was getting there.
Long moments drifted by as each found their bodies too weak to move. Finally, Hayden’s hand tugged her ankle and Natalie stirred enough to turn and flop onto the bed beside him, brown eyes glazed as she gave him a sleepy smile.
“Good lord,” he murmured, his own response barely audible. “That was beyond…good lord. I may never leave this bed again. You harlot.”
Natalie giggled, surprised at her lack of embarrassment. “I know. I can’t believe we did that.” Playfully, she swatted at him. “And what do you mean harlot? You, you…”
“Scoundrel? Rogue? Playboy? And anything else that describes me lusting after your gorgeous body?”
A thrill vibrated through her as he flashed her a leering grin. She snuggled close enough to place a tender kiss upon his lips. “You are incorrigible.”
“Yeah, now I have to come up with an explanation for my stubbed toe,” he growled. “I could have heard it now…oh yeah…baby, that’s it…harder…harder…and my mom on the other end of the phone hearing it all.”
At the deadpanned tone Natalie laughed, her body shaking at his horrified look.
“And it would have served you right,” she sniffed, poking his ribs until he grasped her wrists and rolled to loom over her. “You had every intention of making me come while I was on the phone.”
“You have to tell him, Natalie.” Hayden’s eyes held hers, his grin fading. “You have to break it off. Now.”
Natalie nodded and sighed. Hayden released her wrists and her hands immediately slid over his sweat-slicked chest until they linked around his neck, her fingertips brushing the damp hair at his nape. The need to constantly touch him registered and shocked. Just when did that happen?
“I know. And I will,” she promised, eyes searching his for understanding. “But have some compassion for him. He’s still the injured party here. He should hear it from me face to face.”
Hayden rolled away, folding his hands behind his head and contemplating the ceiling. “And how long will that be?”
Natalie turned her head and regarded his body language. The slight separation of his body from hers spoke volumes.
“The shoot is done in almost two weeks. I have to go home and I’ll tell him then,” she offered, hating the pleading for his understanding that laced her voice.
“So for the next two weeks he lurks in the background,” Hayden snorted, staring a hole into the ceiling. “Nat, I’m beginning to hate the guy and his only crime is dating you. And he’s not even dating you now! He just doesn’t know it.”
Natalie’s heart tumbled into her stomach, her lips pinching together as she fought to bring the question out.
“Is that what we are doing? Dating?” Natalie asked, relieved at the cool, normal tone of voice.
Hayden’s snort of laughter was anything but light. “I think we’re past that, don’t you?”
Pushing up on one elbow Natalie glared at him. “No, we’re not. Even lovers date. They have a courtship. They explore their…”
“Feelings for one another?” Hayden supplied when her voice faded. His eyebrows lifted in surprise, the expression familiar and enough to set butterflies winging through her. “Is that what you want me to do, court you?”
“No!’ She denied, her voice too vehement. “I’m just trying to explain…”
“I can’t date you when you are still coupled with someone else,” Hayden charged, his eyes blazing. “Ha! Coupled. We couple. You and me. Hayden and Natalie. Not you and Michael.”
Shame washed through her, staining her soul. Eyes lowered, unable to meet his fierce gaze. It had all gotten so complicated. Why hadn’t she told Michael before he left and been done with it? Now, it would be harder than ever.
“I promise I will tell him when I go back home,” Natalie reiterated, still unable to lift her eyes. “But, what happens next? This will probably die like all other onset affairs.”
Hayden’s hand grabbed her wrist her bones protesting at his punishing grip. She jerked her head and gaped at him, spying the storm behind his eyes gathering force.
“I will be right behind you,” he warned, the savage expression drying her mouth. She knew she should feel real fear and another wave of shame bled through her as she acknowledged this hidden darkness only made her want him more. “I am coming to New York.”
Realizing he could be overplaying his hand, he released her wrist and rubbed the reddened area upset at his actions.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you,” he apologized, bending over and placing a kiss on the marred skin. “It just makes me crazy sometimes.”
“I know and I’m sorry, too. I didn’t mean for this to happen,” Natalie sighed, leaning forward to place a kiss on his exposed throat, his mutter a reward to her ministration. “You make me crazy, too.”
At her spontaneous confession he backed away to survey her stunned, beautiful face. Immediately, she scowled at his grin.
“You did not hear that,” she grumbled as he bore her back into the pillows.
“Oh, yes, I did,” the grin widened. Lips covered hers, his tongue delving into her mouth until she began to moan in response. Drawing away for a moment, he chuckled. “And I’m going to milk it for all it’s worth.”
Natalie flushed, a strange warmth spreading through her all the way to her toes that curled at the look in Hayden’s eyes.
“Uh, I don’t think you can be milked anymore today,” she lifted a wry brow, her eyes drifting down his body.
He broke up and dropped his head against her neck and laughed, his whole body quaking. She laughed, too, and drew her arms around him, relishing his warmth.
“I’ll recover,” his lips spoke the promise against her skin. “And then…”
“And then?” Natalie prompted.
“I’m sleepy,” he mumbled.
Willing to let him fall asleep she closed her eyes. Minutes ticked by, the room quiet and peaceful. She was almost asleep when she heard it, murmured so soft and low against her ear that she barely made out the slurred promise.
“I’ll get you when you least expect it.”
