The tour lasted for at least a month. Traveling with Elvis seemed right and grand. He treated me nice and made sure I was always safe. There were a few moments of fear and separation due to his fans, but he always found me. He always insisted to buy me beautiful jewelry and clothing, but I refused his offerings. Finally, we made our way back to his mansion. He grinned happily carrying me inside. "Home!" He cried out happily. He kissed my cheek and smiled happily. He set me down as he ran around like a puppy looking for his bone. I watched from the door before blinking. He was gone...I began to look around. "Hey! Where'd you go?" I called out. It was silent. I looked around worried before he flung himself on me. I cried out as I fell to the floor with him on top of me. I stared up at him with wide eyes. He laughed. "Gotcha." He whispered poking my nose. I smiled pulling myself from under him. "It's nice to be home." He whispered sitting on the floor beside me. I smiled to him and got up. He watched and grabbed my arm pulling me into his lap. "How about we have some fun tonight?" He whispered in my ear. "I've been beggin for so long doll." He whispered laying me down. I stared up at him with wide eyes. He started to climb up on top of me and pulled at my shirt. I stared with wide eyes and struggled against. "I-I can't." I whispered starting to shake. I started to push and pull away before he held down my arms. "Come on babe, I won't hurt you! I promise." He whispered biting gently at my neck. I whimpered tensing up. I felt one of his hands started to caress my thigh as I struggled under him. "Stop please." I whispered scared. He began to bite into my neck before finally I pulled a hand out from under his. "Stop!" I cried shoving him off. I quickly stood up as he stared shocked. He slowly rose up and I saw his eyes stare with anger and fury towards me. "What is your problem?" He growled. He stood up."I have been nothing but kind and I've taken you out of this town!" He yelled. I gasped with wide eyes and backed up a bit as he pressed himself against me. "I don't get what you want from me!" He yelled grabbing my arm. "Please stop yelling..." I whispered shaking. "This is going to happen. Why can't you just give in to me like every other girl!" He growled. I shook my head shaking and tried to pull away. He shoved me down and growled. I cried out and curled up tight. He stood there for a moment. "Go. You need to go." He whispered. I stared and slowly got up. I watched him for a moment and tears filled my frightened eyes. "Go! Go now!" He yelled raising his hand. I gasped and ran out of the door. I looked back to the house as I cried. That night I found my way back home... my mum said she expected that I'd come back soon. Father wasted no time putting me to work. I cleaned every shoe in his house. I cleaned every room and every floor. I stared at the ground as my father grabbed my arm and shoved me into the closet. He locked the door and I sighed softly. The dark and silence got to me and I sat down and began to cry. I looked down and smiled slightly seeing my old bear. I took it into my arms and held it close to me as I curled up on the floor. Over the next month I spent most of my time cooking and in the closet. I didn't see the light much and I was becoming pale and almost sickly looking. One night they forgot to lock the door and I slipped out. I slid into the night and looked around shivering in the January air. My clothes were ripped and dirty and my face dull and tired. I hadn't heard much about Elvis other than he had been having some rough times. I kept my head down before hearing music. I hadn't heard his voice in months. I looked around before shaking my head. "Make the world go away!" The radio cried out from the corner. "Get it off, get if off my shoulder." Girls began to sing along. I stared angrily and kept my head low. I wanted it to stop. I didn't want to hear from him. As I walked the song continued on. I could see snow starting to come down and I shook my head. I was back on the street we met... I looked seeing him on the televisions in the shop. Girls crowded as he sang. I felt like his eyes followed every step I took. "Say the things we used to say." He continued to sing. I walked shaking my head. "And make the world go away..." Every car on the block seemed to play the song. I finally just sat on the corner and curled up tight as snow gathered on my shoulders. I began to cry shaking in the fear of being alone again. I could still hear him singing...it was so much more powerful now. Someone sat beside me and I looked away shaking my head. "Make the world go away....get it off, get it off my shoulders. Say things you used say." He sang. I looked over to see Elvis sitting there with pain in his eyes. He lowered his head. "And make the world go away!" He sang out with power. I shook and shivered as tears ran down my cheeks. "I've looked all over for you..." He whispered. He grabbed me and pulled me into his arms. I began to sob into his chest as he held me close. "Let's get you home..." He whispered helping me up. I shook my head. "I need to get my bear. Please." I whispered wiping my eyes. "It's the only thing that has kept me sane these few months." I whispered. He nodded with a bit of hesitation. "Alright...at least let me drive you there. I'll wait outside." He whispered leading me to his car. He sat me down and I stared silently at the floor. He drove me back to my parents' apartment and I sighed. "I'll be back quick." I told him with a soft smile. I slipped out and made way back in. I looked around and I tried to be silent. A crashing sound made me jump and my father stood there drunk and hardly standing. He grinned. "Well where have you been?" He whispered grabbing my arm. "Please father! I'm sorry." I cried out shaking. He shook his head. He slammed me down to the ground and pulled his belt off. He slapped it against his hand and grinned wildly. I tried to cover my face before he began to slash it against my face and body. I cried out in pain and struggled trying to get away. I crawled to the closet before he slammed the door and locked it. I began to hit on the door. "No! Please let me out!" I cried. My lip was bleeding and my face was bruised. I sat down and sobbed shaking. I heard a commotion from outside the door and I grabbed my bear shaking. I felt like I was five again...holding my bear curled up hoping someone would let me out. The door unlocked and I stared up to see Elvis. I shook and looked down not wanting him to see me bloody and nasty. He picked me up and held me close. He carried me out of the apartment and I saw my father lying on the ground with a busted lip and a black eye. He set me back in the car and stroked my hair before driving off. "I'm sorry...I shouldn't have let you go." He whispered shaking his head. "I'm so stupid. I shouldn't have shoved you or raised my voice." He had tears in his eyes. I saw one run down his cheek. I gently wiped it from his cheek and rubbed my eyes. "It's okay...I'm okay now." I told him. He looked over at me with wide eyes. "Do you not see your face!" He cried with shock. I shrugged. "There's nothing I can do...plus I'm away from him again." I told him as he parked. He sighed and nodded leading me back inside. He led me upstairs and laid me down. He held me close and shook his head. "I should have never let you go." He whispered. I smiled softly and set the bear beside me. I held on to him and closed my eyes. He kissed my forehead and sighed softly. "I missed you." He whispered. I felt safe again...
