Making her way through the shopping centre Seth happily pushed the shopping cart in front of her. It had been a productive day – not only had she organised for a party plan company to set up the unit, only after calling the managers to make sure she could have the party- only having to bribe them with autographs of just about every wrestler on the roster.
But it was worth it, what she had planed would blow them all away. A product of her parents she had always been who lived by the motto, if your going to do it you might as well do it in style. She had enough money to spend not even factoring in how much Vince was paying her, she would of signed the contract even if he wasn’t. Her trust fund – something she hadn’t touched ever was now coming in handy, not only the shopping trip yesterday but also everything for today. Looking down at her watch she gasped a little, she had a half an hour to get everything packed into the van and make her way to pick up the guys.
“How was it?”
Looking up at big show she saw him smile a little
“Not too bad”
“Come on, When we get back you guys can head to the pool, relax a little cause your not allowed back up until seven”
“What!”
Paul exclaimed as he slid in the seat beside her Kevin had taken the keys from her as soon as he came towards her
“It’s a surprise – so you and Kev have to get a change of cloths and park yourselves in there room”
Thumbing over at Shawn and big show she saw him shake his head
“Ohh before I forget, do you guys have any washing cause I’m going to do some”
“She cooks and cleans – a woman after my own heart”
“Bite me Sean”
“Hay don’t say that remember the last time”
Kev raised his eyebrows at her
“What happened?”
Big show asked as he turned in the passenger side seat, looking at her and then back to Kev – finally it was Kevin who told them the story of how he found Paul and Seth in the hallway, both sporting bite marks.
“You want some help unpacking all this?”
Paul was standing by her side looking in at all the shopping bags.
“If you don’t mind?”
“Here you go”
Big show pulled a trolley by the car as he lifted some of the white plastic bags from the trunk
“Now you can tell he’s a married man”
Seth smirked as big show blushed, the three of them making short work of the load. Going past the reception she nodded a hello at the young girl behind it.
“Whatcha got there darlin`?”
Marks drawl turned her red as Paul and `Show laughed
“Umm – cooking tonight, you, Glenn and Nora are invited”
Seeing him nod she quickly pushed the trolley past him her mind racing with what she had said about him the night before. Two laughing and one puzzled man watched her swiftly head towards the elevators, continually push the button for it to arrive
“Something I said?”
Mark asked only eliciting more laughter from the two men as Seth made her way into the empty elevator. Slamming the bags on the counter she not so silently cursed
“Me and my god damn big mouth, fuckin` great”
Kevin just watched her as she angrily pulled things from the bags, he was sure she hadn’t noticed him there yet. His eyes roamed over her, taking in her blond hair and the coloured ends, her make-up free face. The clothes she wore was a mixture of funk and just plain weird, but the image of her standing in the sunlight that morning hadn’t left him all day
“We come bringing dirt clothes!”
Sean yelled from the hallway, tossing his massive pile of clothes in the open laundry door, Shawn following his lead as a laughing Paul and `Show came in behind them
“Shut up – damn it and all your stupid questions”
Seth flung a bottle of washing detergent at them, Paul easily catching, his laughter filtering out a little as he tossed the offending bottle in with the gigantic pile of dirty clothes.
“You need any help?”
`Show asked, his laughter dying as he saw how upset she had become
“No – I’m fine, go relax”
Shooing them away she plucked a plastic key from Sean
“I’m going to need your oven”
She explained as he was herded towards the door, Kevin and Paul grabbing their bags as they went past their respective rooms –
“And her is a list of everyone to invite”
Handing `Show the list she knew he would make sure everyone on it knew about her gathering
“There’s like fifteen people here”
Shrugging she just shooed him away, as soon as they had left Seth kicked her shoes of and turned the radio on. Music poured around as she finished unpacking everything she had brought. A dinner party for twenty people shouldn’t be that hard – god she hoped they weren’t all picky eaters. Pulling the crisp white apron she had just brought over her head Seth started with the meat, not only buying a roast of lamb, but also chicken and pork.
That’s the real reason she needed the other oven, the size of the pork was huge it alone would take the rest of the day to cook – looking at her watch she had given herself five hours, by seven everything would be done. Making room in the near over flowing fridge Seth smirked at the wine bottles she had set the rest of the alcohol in fridge behind the bar. The unit was amazing – who ever owned it must throw a lot of parties because everything was set out perfectly.
Two and a half hours later, she had not only the Pork cooking in the other room but also the lamb was baking in a rosemary and mustard glaze, cooking in hers and the chicken garlic-ed, all the vegetables were peeled and sitting in water ready to be steamed, roasted or sautéed. She was now pouring out the batter for the mud cake she was making for desert, the lemon cheesecake and pavlova had already been made – she was glad she didn’t have to make them from scratch; packet ready cakes were a life saver sometimes.
All she had to do was decorate them both, waiting until the mud cake was ready before she even thought of it. Setting the cake on the top shelve of the oven she took a long smell of the cooking meat. She missed this; she missed the smells of home. With confident hands she set out some potatoes and pumpkin on a greased tray - making her way next door she had to smile at the wafting smell, putting the vegetables in she poured some of the juices over the roasting meat. Closing the door behind her bumping straight into two
Deliverymen
“Are you Miss Dean?”
The older one asked
“Yep – you from Can do’s?”
He nodded as she opened the door to her unit – making small talk she watched as two quickly deposited everything in the lounge room
“Umm I know it’s not your job but do you think you could just move the table for me, I tried earlier but I couldn’t get it to budge”
Nodding the older man, who she had been told was Karl and his sone Evan made short work of the heavy table, letting them put it in her room she handed over a large tip, at which they preceded to set up the tables and chairs they had just brought up. Thanking them she waved goodbye as the elevator doors shut, making her way back in she once again went through the trouble of unpacking. She had hired everything, plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery and serving dishes – it was just easier that way.
Pulling out the black plates she set them in the dishwasher, another thing she was thankful for. Setting it to heated rinse when it got full – hearing the washing machine finish Seth danced her way over to it, pulling clothes from the dryer, before putting the newly washed ones in it, her last load, she swore they hadn’t done there own washing for at least a month with everything that was sitting in the basket.
Making her way to Kevin’s room she threw the warm clothes on the freshly made bed – she should know, she had made it in between baking, stirring, beating, whisking, kneading and washing, the same with her own and Pauls. Folding the clothes up since she didn’t know whose was whose she sorted them out by articles, shorts with shorts, shirts with shirts and so on. It had been a busy day, but Seth was use too it, a one time self-proclaimed slob and lazy bones she had changed in the last eighteen months.
Spreading the clean linin over the cheap tables Seth smirked as she set a lacy doily over it. The white lace fitted perfect over the black linin as she set out the table, each place held its own plate, knife, fork, spoon, desert spoon, bread plate, butter knife and both water and wine glasses, the contrasting black and white colours mixing into each other.
Sitting on the lounge she gently folded napkins before setting them in the wine glasses – they had gotten everything she wanted, pulling the disposable cameras out from the box she set one out on each plate as the dishwasher hummed, the last of the serving dishes and utensils were cleaned. It took another hour and a half before she had finished cooking everything, Paul had rung her and told her everyone had accepted so there was so much , sh, she had transferred the Pork form the other room to hers before she went to get ready.
Drying her hair she Seth gently let it fall down her back, the purple, reds and greens gone from the ends – she had dyed it all a honey blond colour. With a steady hand she outlined her eyes in dark kohl – adding a little blush to her cheeks and staining her lips in a soft berry colour.
Standing back she looked at herself in the mirror, smoothing down the fabric of her dress, the dark purple rialrial was soft under her hands. A throw back to the 20’s she had made it on a whim six months ago after finding the satin in a second hand store, it clung to her as she moved to see the back of it – tied under her hair there was no way she could wear a bra with it, it hung low down her back, the material meeting just above her waist and falling down into a small train.
Forgoing her usually chunky silver jewellery she opened up the small locked case that went everywhere with her, pulling out the diamond and onyx cameo her grandmother had given her, fastening it around her neck before she added the eternity ring set that matched it, slipping them on as she heard a knock on the door. Quickly slipping her feet into a pair of satrapy heels, looking over her shoulder as she came back out, she saw the candles flicker softly and music playing as she opened the door.
“Good evening gentlemen”
She said as she swung the door open, her breath catg atg at the sight of them – all dressed just about the same. Dark pants and button down shirts, it wasn’t so much what they were wearing it was the way they wore it. Big show was the first to move, kissing her cheek as he walked past
“You look amazing blue eyes”
“Thank you `Show – you don’t clean up to bad yourself”
Motioning for the others to head in also she felt Sean’s arm go around her
“Wow, now that is ess, ess, wanna tell em what your wearing under it?”
Wagging his eyebrows suggestively as he tried to peek down the top of it she laughed and whispered in his ear
“Nothing”
Giggling at his expression she turned to see Shawn, Paul and Kevin looking at her
“There’s some drinks by the bar – help yourself”
Shawn made his way down the hallway only to stop at the sight before him
“What the hell…”
Taking in the lounge room he was a little taken back, it had been transformed. The long table taking up most of the space, set perfectly with candles burning and everything
“You didn’t have to…”
Coming up behind him she tossed her arms around him – once again wondering how peaceful the action was
“My boys deserve the best – enjoy because it wont happen often”
“Anyone home!”
Making her way back towards the door she saw Kevin head towards the bar, not realising Paul was following her
“Good evening – please come in”
His deep voice right by her ear as he waved Steph and Chris in – placing a hand on hear sar shoulder after his kissed Steph’s cheek, Seth smiled as they walked down the hallway.
“I like your hair”
Paul’s whisper sent shivers down her spin as he gently played with her hair, his hand slowly caressing her back as he picked it up – nodding she heard the elevator ding – looking up at the opening doors she smiled warmly at the people getting of.
“You look amazing”
Both Amy and Nora cried as they pulled her into a hug –both woman were dressed to the nines like her, after Pail rang her she got a few more calls, all wanting to know if they should dress up or not – Seth had told them ti was there choice and by the look of it the woman had chosen too.
“Evening gentlemen”
Kissing Jeff and Matt’s cheeks she stood back for a moment, laughing a little when they both blushed –
“Ok darlin` where’s mine”
Mark asked as he looked down at her tapping on the side of his face– his bandana and glasses gone but as sas still dressed in leather pants and a dark marron shirt. Throwing a warning look at the smirking Paul she lent on her tiptoes and quickly pecked his cheek, moving to do the same with Glenn.
By half past seven she had greeted everyone by the door and they had all been seated at the table, Paul not moving from her side and Kevin coming to stand by them not long after the hardy’s arrived.
“Not to be rude but whats with the cameras?”
Jackie asked as she held one of them up
y try treat to you all – why only have memories when you can have photos”
Adam just shook his head, looking up at her from where she stood
“Blue you’re amazing – I mean who would of thought that”
Tousling his blond hair she shrugged before she made her way to the kitchen, bringing out the still hot food. Setting it on the table she saw there eyes go wide
“You cooked all this?”
Steph asked as she looked at all the bowls and plates the food had been laid out on – finally taking her seat next to Paul and Kevin she nodded
“Yes I did – dig in you don’t want it going cold”
She watched as they all started passing the food around – filling their plates. Kevin was just smiling at her as he piled the mashed potatoes on his plate; she had sat him at one end of the table.
Sitting across from her was Jeff; the smaller Hardy was quickly devouring some of the roast pork, with Adam next to him. She had sat those two together because even a blind cou could tell they had a thing for each other – either too shy or too insecure to let the other know.
If even a shred of the truth got out about some of these guys the fans would go nuts. Shawn was by them, quietly talking to Jackie sharing a joke as Ron glared at them, he wasn’t happy at all the attention she was receiving by HBK. Smirking Seth wondered if they would get together soon, Ron and Jackie seemed like the perfect couple – both having the same attitude, loyal to a fault but if you crossed them then all hell broke lose, well that’s what John had told her yesterday.
Looking at the other member of APA he was currently forking food in his mouth while `Show, Chris and Steph were debating some of the current story lines. Her eyes falling on Mark as he sat up the opposite end of the table talking quietly with Matt and Amy. Sean, Rob and jay were the loudest, poking fun at Shawn, Jackie and Rob sitting across from them – Nora and Glenn were making eyes at each other, as he started to feed her some of his vegetables.
“Having fun?”
Paul asked – he had watched her watching everyone else, the small but delighted smile lighting up her face a little.
“Are you?”
She fired back, seeing him nod she patted his arm.
As the food was eaten everyone talked, at first in small groups but by the end of it they were all yelling over each other – most of the wine had been drunk when Seth got up, proclaiming it was time for desert.
Clearing off the table she waved away any questions of help. Within ten minutes the dishwasher had been refilled and smaller plated set out on the table. Bringing out the desert she sat them down on the table, tilting her head a little as she looked at them. Each had been decorated that afternoon with fresh cream and fruit. Sitting back down she let everyone take some of the desert – shaking her head as Shawn picked up a huge chunk of the cheesecake
“Where the hell do you put it all?”
His blue eyes connecting with hers as he drawled out
“Now darlin` wouldn’t you like to know”
“Actually no I wouldn’t”
She said laughing at his faked hurt expression –
“So when you come home with me - you gonna cook every night?”
Slipping deeper in his accent she blushed a little as he pointedly looked at Mark, the table had gone quite everyone listening to there exchange, `show and Kevin tried to hold in there laughter at hervoervousness, she was chewing on her bottom lip a little when Shawn started again
“Come on blue eyes – you know you want too. Was I mistaken you did you say you always wanted to visit Texas”
“What makes you think I’m going home with you? And don’t even try the accent on me. It so will not work”
“Hay deadman wanna do an experiment for me -“
Seth’s eyes went huge as Shawn lazed back in the chair
“You wouldn’t”
She hissed at him, her face turning seven shades of red. It was Marks voice that broke the tension
“Now Blue` y’all wanna tell me` what he’s talking about?”
Casting a glance at the dark haired man she shook her head, throwing her napkin at Shawn
“I am so going to kick you ass Michaels”
“Go on – I wanna see it”
“Yea you would you little perve”
She said before looking up at Mark, he was leaning back on his chair, his large arms folded around him waiting for an explanation – sighing loudly she didn’t look at him when she spoke
“Your accent – I like your accent alright”
She said as Kevin and `Shows laughter echoed around them, Paul was snickering beside her as Shawn just eyed her a little, his laughter missing with there’s.
“Since I’ve been humiliated enough tonight –lets just change the subject”
Taking a long gulp of her red wine she heard Kevin murmur
“Don’t worry Shawn loves to cause trouble “
“Yea well paybacks a bitch and so am I”
She said loud enough ShawShawn to hear, causing him to laugh even harder, casting a glance at mark she saw him watching her a while before he turned towards something Steph had said.
After a few moments she relaxed a again, Jackie and Ron were now sitting next to each other intimately talk while Shawn and of all people John were playing footsies under the table. Jeff and Adam had barely acknowledged anyone else all night so caught up in each other so she was shocked to see him look up at her, his soft smile warming as he stared at her
“What?”
His laughter missed with those around the room
“You do know your humming along to the music right? – I didn’t think someone could hum along with this type of music”
Listening to the classical music she had put on not long before she went for a shower she smiled
“I like it – I take it you don’t?”
His rainbow hair flung across his face as he shook his head as Seth got up and quickly went into her crowded room – coming back out a few mseconds later with a hand full of CD’s, slipping one from its case she popped the C.D player opened and took out the Classical disk exchanging it with one in her hand.
The first strains of a guitar made there way through the stereo as she turned back to the table, faced with a flash of a camera
“Now that’s photos is going to be burnt”
She said as the beginning guitar riff of Creeds, My sacrifice made its way through the speakers.
“I’ve meet these guys”
Mark said as Seth sat back down
“Your joking right – Your telling me, you’ve meet Creed?”
Seeing him nod she just gaped
“Wow that’s like really cool – I mean there in my top five favourite bands that I love who are still alive”
“Ok – care to explain?”
Glenn asked as he looked up from Nora –
“Just as I said – I have a eclectic taste in music – I love everything from Janis Joplin, Elvis and Joe Cocker and Steppingwolf to guys like Marilyn Manson, and Ice Cube and bands like MFTGG, Creed and Reel big Fish not to mention singers like Papa Roach and Dido. Plus the really cool Aussie bands like Grinspoon, George and Powderfinger”
“You like Elvis?”
Rob asked, surprise evident in his voice – nodding Seth just shrugged
“Some of his stuff”
The conversation edited into what other people liked as Seth took the now empty plated form the table, clearing it fully now except for the candles that had burnt down a little. When she returned she saw Steph and Chris dancing as Jewels soft ballad started, watching as Glenn and Nora followed suit.
She didn’t know how long she had stood by the kitchen watching them but she jumped a little when Paul spoke
“Would you care to dance?”
His smile almost melted her as she heard the strumming of the guitar - as it echoed around her ears, taking his hand he lead her to the makeshift dance floor as the woman’s husky voice started
His hand resting on the bare skin of her back as she looped her own around his neck as she gazed into his eyes
Tearing her eyes from him she lent her head on his solid chest, both of them swaying to intoxicating music. The chorus flitted around them as Seth felt tranquil in his arms as they moved in time with the strumming guitar.
Mark looked from Paul to Seth and them back again – nodding his head a little d before he turned to the now seated Stephanie
“You ever dance with your brother like that?”
The brunette just scrunched up her face shaking her head and swatting the big man’s arm
“Now that’s just a horrible mental picture Mark”
Tugging on Chris’s arm she pulled him to the dance floor – as Mark turned his attention back to Seth and Paul. Kevin was currently tapping Paul’s shoulder
“Can I cut in?”
Before either man could say anything Seth stepped back pulling out of Pauls arms
“Of cause you can”
She said as she turned lifted Pauls hands from her hips and placed them on Kevin’s. Holding back a chuckled mark just shook his head as Adam called
“You make a cute couple”
”Yea keep talking twink”
The room fell silent as the song drift on around them – Seth saw Jeff pull Adam to him and the two man danced together as she made her way towards the balcony as Paul and Kevin just started dancing
< Its time – to say thank god for you – I thank god for you – in each and every single way – and I know, I know, now, now, I know, I know, I know, its time to let you know, time to let you know, time to let you know, time to sit here and say - I know we are – we are the lucky ones. I know we are – we are the lucky ones. I know we are – we are the lucky ones. – Dear - dear– My dear – My dear. We are the lucky ones dear>
Standing on the balcony she just gazed up into the dark sky – everything had turned out well, she was content. Looking over her shoulder she saw `Show head back to his roomroom, he had told her he called his wife every night at about this time she didn’t think she would see him for a while even if he did come back. Jackie was sitting on Ron’s lap as they whispered to each other –
Chris and Steph were dancing so close she wondered where one stoped and the other stared. Shawn and John had disappeared not long after she changed the music, and by the looks of it Paul and Kevin were making their way around the dance floor and down towards one of there bedrooms. Shrugging she smiled as Sean, Rob, Matt and Amy all started dancing – everyone laughing at something Rob was doing.
Glenn and Nora were still sitting at the table, both ingrossed in each other; she had to laugh at the sight of them – who would of thought the big red machine and the Miss prim one of the WWE would end up togethWellWell not like they were like that in real life – well maybe Nora was a little but she had a infections enthusiasm.
“Your lookingasedased with yourself?”
Turning she saw Mark watching her – he had come out of the other door, where he was standing he could see in on the party but they couldn’t see him.
“It went well don’t you think?”
“Perfect blue eyes”
Everyone had picked up on `Shows nickname for her so she had been regaled with blue eyes or as Sean called her Blue all night.
“You’ve picked up the nickname”
Seeing him sit on one of the chairs she lent back on the railing
“It suits you”
Hey were silent for a moment – a burst of laughter making its way out the door
“So why are you out here – and not inside?”
Glancing from the bright room then to his deep eyes she shrugged a little
“Habit I guess”
“Loneliness’ shouldn’t be a habit blue`”
Facing him she smirked a little putting on a front as she spoke
“How can I be alone – there’s a room full of people not four feet from me and you’re here”
Mark rubbed his face before he looked up at her
“You wear the mask well – but your eyes give you away. When you don’t think anyone’s looking they change you know that right?”
Holding his hand out to her as she took a step closer
“Loneliness’ isn’t a gift child – its a curse. A room full of people but your eyes dull still until they talk”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about”
Taking her hand from his she stepped away from him – turning back to the night. His massive frame surrounding hers as heod bod behind her, his hands resting on each side of her as he lent down to speak softly in her ear
“I don’t know whats happened in your life – but we can all see the pain you shield yourself with, something bad happened, something so bad you’ve let it eat at you until all that was left was loneliness”
Spinning around to face him she searched his face
“How?”
“How do I know?”
He said cutting her off as he cupped her face in his hand
“Because that’s how I was – I see the same agony in you I use to see when I looked I the mirror”
Feeling him stroke her face she just closed her eyes against the emotions rushing around her amazed that lust wasn’t with them – something she was sure that would have been there.
“You are the property of the Kliq”
Snapping her eyes open she started shaking her head in denial.
“Now hush child I mean no disrespect at that word – for some reason those misfits take the pain from your eyes”
Before she could speak a blinding flash went off and she could hear Jackie laughing
“Damn it girl warning would be helpful”
Mark growled out as he rubbed his blinded eyes giving Seth time to make her exit. Stepping back into the room she saw Chris and Steph getting ready to leave.
“Thank you so much Seth, everything was beautiful”
Steph said as she they hugged – Chris just tugging on the back of her hair as he spoke
“And the new dye job looks good too”
“Yea-yea get going”
Waving them off the party started to dissipate – looking up at the clock she was a little shocked to see it was after midnight. Everyone telling her it had been a ultimate success, Jackie, Amy and Nora told her they would do some shopping the next morning. Shooing them all out she turned back to where Jeff and Adam were sitting
“Alright guys you’ve been polite enough – go have wild monkey sex”
Seeing them both turn a bright red she lent over to kiss their cheeks before she hauled them from the chairs and basically kicked them out.
Shawn sauntered in as Jeff and Adam made there leave – a huge smile on his face as he winked at her
“The party finished already?”
Seeing him flop down on a sofa she saw Mark smirk at him ruffling his already messy hair as he went by
“Still the sexy boy I see”
“And don’t you forget it”
Shawn called; shaking his head Mark gave Seth a peck on the lips,
“Now don’t forget what we talked about”
Nodding she saw him wave to the rest of them –
“Hay did Seth did you screw the accent from him yet”
Shawn yelled – as Paul and Kevin tried to shut him up
“Aww I get it now”
Mark said chuckling, winking at her as he saw her almost fall over in embarrassment.
“I am so going to kill him”
She muttered
“Hay he gave an old guy a thrill”
Looking up from the carpet she slapped him across the arm
“You are not old”
He just shrugged as he made his way towards the waiting elevator. As the doors slide closed he saw her shake her head as she closed the door.
On her way past her room she kicked off her shoes, closing the door on there voices as she pulled out the blood red panamas, tugging her dress of and tossing it into a heap on the chair by her bed – there wasn’t much room to manoeuvre since the table and chairs took up most of the space the small bed didn’t.
“You right Seth!”
Sean called, opening her door she nodded
“Yea just needed to get changed – how was it?”
Sean smiled as he nodded as she picked up her near full wine glass, swirling the dark liquid
“You’re a good cook, everyone had fun”
Wrapping her arm around his waist as he threw one over her shoulders the two of them made it back to the now cleaner lounge room where Kevin and Paul were sitting almost on top of a laughing Shawn, sitting in the opposite sofa she lent her head on Sean’s shoulder, looking over at them
“What was the twink comment about?”
Her questions stoped there playing as all eyes turned to her – Sean was brushing her hair from her face in the same gesture she had been doing last night. The three men just straightened themselves as her blue eyes watched them
“Um its just a name we call some of the guys like Adam and Jeff”
Kev answered, he didn’t know how much he should tell her
“So wouldn’t that make you all twinks too?”
Sean coughed at her words, his dark eyes looking over her head at the rest of them, each shocked at her sleepy words. Stretching out on the sofa she laid her head on Sean’s thighs, using him as a pillow.
“Umm what makes you…”
Cutting off Pauls unsteady words she just smiled
“Do you honestly think I don’t know what you guys are – what Shawn had been doing with John, what you and Kevin were doing when you went walkabouts? I maybe be knew here but I do have ears, and the Kliq wasn’t one to shy away from the PDA’s”
Sean looked down at her, his hand still tangled in her hair as he spoke
“PDA’s?”
“Public displays of affection – I’ve been around in the indy’s where some of the shit you guys do is treated as word from god”
Getting up Shawn knelt in front of her as he spoke
“So you don’t care?”
His hand on her thigh as he spoke – pointedly looking at it she waited until he moved it, making the fabric of her pants fall across her
“I care, for some reason I care about you all but who am I to say what you should do, who you should love. If you find it with anyone I say hold it because who’s to say its going to last”
Taking a sip of her wine she looked at him – taking in their faces for the first real time. Seeing the difference between them all, each beautiful in there own way
“How did you get so wise?”
Setting the glass back down she got up off Sean’s lap, pulling her legs up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them as she sorrowfully spoke to him
“My sad story isn’t one you want to hear”
Sitting next to Sean he pulled her to him, wrapping his arms around her before he spoke
“Yes we do”
