A/N: I'm so sorry it's been so long since the last update. There has been so much everything and I haven't had got much time to spend at computer... But I finally managed to finish this chapter, so enjoy. I was supposed to finally make Toshiya and Kyo a happy couple and I really tried it but it didn't work. So that means you just have to wait a bit more. I'll try to update sooner next time but I can't promise anything.

Chapter 11

"Shinya! Shinya, wait!" Kyo was shouting through the hallway. Shinya was walking in front of him but didn't seem to notice him. Or then Shinya just didn't want to talk to him. He had said he would find other friends but Kyo hadn't taken it that seriously. Shinya got angry very often but always forgave him soon. Why would this take any longer? "Shinya, where are you going?!" Kyo sighed when he finally caught up with his friend.

Shinya looked at him and answered right away. "None of your business. We're not friends anymore so take care of your own things and leave me alone."

Kyo rolled his eyes. That's it. He had had enough of this. "I don't get it. Why is it that you are angry? I haven't done anything wrong. So could you tell me why we aren't friends anymore?"

"Why do you care?! You have Toshiya. All you think about is Toshiya! You don't need me, you don't need anyone else but Toshiya! So fuck off!"

"That is not true!" Kyo hissed. "You are acting like a selfish-"

"You are just like Andou! I don't want to be your friend anymore! You wanted to hang out with Toshiya, so now you can!!!" Shinya hissed and continued walking away. First Kyo was going to follow his friend but then he thought of it for a while and changed his mind. There was no talking to Shinya when he was angry. And he wouldn't apologize to Shinya because there was nothing to apologize. He hadn't done anything. It seemed like Shinya was angry because he spent more time with Toshiya nowadays. But there was no reason to be jealous or anything! Shinya was still his friend but he had to also understand that Toshiya liked spending time with him too! Yes, Shinya had been his friend for a long time already but he had a right to have other friends too. It was stupid of Shinya to think that he was the only one he could spend time with! And besides, what had Shinya been doing? Kyo hadn't been angry when Shinya had been hanging around with Andou and Niikura. Shinya had no right to be furious!

"Nishimura!"

Kyo frowned when he heard his second name called and turned around. And of course it was Yoshiki-sensei, his 'favourite' teacher! "Isn't it the time when you should be in your class already? I don't know why but I'm quite sure you should have a biology class right now."

"Yup. I should."

"With an attitude like that you'll never survive in life. You surely understand that, don't you?"

"What ever." And he didn't listen to his teacher anymore. Instead he started walking downstairs which wasn't even near biology class. Yoshiki was left staring after him, shaking his head. That boy wouldn't become anything if he didn't even try. Well, Yoshiki had other things to worry about right at the moment. Like for example... had Kaoru already made his decision? Sighing heavily Yoshiki continued walking other direction. Kyo looked behind him and smiled. He knew he should had been in class already but he had no interest going there. He would go home or somewhere else, he wanted to get out of this fucking school he hated so much.

In his thoughts he started singing some good song from his favourite heavy band. He was still thinking about Shinya but didn't let it bother him too much. But what he didn't know was that he wasn't alone. Toshiya was walking right after him and the younger boy was very surprised when he heard his best friend singing. He could had never thought Kyo could sing! And Kyo was singing very well! "Wow..." he breathed and fastened his speed, trying to catch up with Kyo. "Kyo, wait!" he breathed and grabbed the shorter boy's shoulder. Kyo blushed when he understood Toshiya had heard him singing. "Hi, Totchi."

"I didn't know you could sing like that!" Toshiya muttered but Kyo glared at him with a warning look. "Don't."

"Why not? You have an awesome voice. Why haven't you told me you can sing?"

"I can't sing! Stop that already. Forget about it and shut up."

"Why are you angry? I'm serious! I'm not kidding. You have amazing voice and because you aren't good at school... maybe you could use your voice and become a famous rockstar! Really! Wouldn't that be cool huh? Or are you saying you are dreaming about a... hmm... a doctor's career?"

"I won't become a singer! Shut up!!" Kyo groaned. "And leave me alone now. I'm leaving."

Toshiya looked surprised. "Umm... you aren't coming to class?" he asked carefully. Kyo laughed and rolled his eyes. "Hah! Since when have I cared about school?! I'm not coming to class! I'll go to café and eat and drink something. I'm hungry." He was silent for a while before he added: "What about you? Are you going to class?"

Toshiya hesitated for a while but shooked his head soon. "No... I'm coming with you." Kyo smiled. "What about your parents? I wonder what they would say if they knew you're skipping classes", he asked.

Toshiya laughed. "Hah! Let's just go! Mum and dad would probably kill me if they knew but... who cares?"

Yoshiki stopped reading a book when he saw Gackt walking inside to the teacher's room. "You finally succeeded in it", he heard Gackt hissing. He glared at the other man who seemed to be very angry. Gackt slammed the door shut behind him and looked at him like he would kill him. "Are you happy now?! Kaoru broke up with me. You must be so proud of yourself, you selfish-"

"So... He didn't believe you", Yoshiki said and couldn't help but to smile. "He doesn't trust you. And yes, I am proud. I ruined your pretty little plan."

"You took him away from me", Gackt hissed and walked closer with a threattening look on his usually happy face. "What did you say to him?! I'll... I'll..."

"Are you threattening me?" Yoshiki asked. "That doesn't solve anything. Kaoru left you and that's it so just get over it already! You two were never meant to be together. Actually, I think you aren't meant to be with anyone and it is your own fault."

Gackt was furious. "You have just been jealous all the time. You wanted me and Kaoru to break up and you succeeded in it. But guess what? I'm not giving up! It is worthless to be proud of yourself! Kaoru still cares about me and I'll make him come back to me. You can be sure of it."

Yoshiki's expression suddenly went dark. "You've decided to fuck him, haven't you?!" he hissed. "You are nothing but a dirty old man!!! I won't let you touch him. He is our student and you are going to keep your hands off him."

"So that you can take him?!"

There was a long silence between them. Then Yoshiki spoke. "I would never ever touch a student! You disgust me. I am not like you."

"You can fool everyone else but not me. I know what you want. You want Kaoru yourself. You want to be the one who fucks him first... though you're never going to say it aloud. It pisses you off when you saw me with him in the shower.You aren't at all better than I am!!!"

Yoshiki hit the table with his fist. "I hate you", he said in a cold voice. "You have no idea how much I hate you."

"Aaaw, that kills me!" Gackt said with gritted teeth. "Well, guess what? I hate you too."

"I don't understand what I once saw in you. Now you only make me sick."

Gackt didn't give up. "Hah. You're just angry because I know your dirty little secret."

"Think what you think but the truth is that I am only protecting Kaoru from YOU. He doesn't deserve getting hurt anymore: his mother has died and... he has went through a lot. But now, I must go to my class. I hope you will finally understand how wrong it is what you have been trying to do."

"Well, well... We've been waiting for you."

Toshiya and Kyo had just reached the school's gate when they understood something was wrong. Someone had been waiting for them to leave from school. They were in a big trouble. Toshiya was shocked when he saw Okabe's twins taking a step closer. Both twins had a mean smirk on their faces and there was no way going back to school. Kei was standing behind them with Yuki and Mizuki, and there were also two other guys who Toshiya had never seen before.

"Actually... we were only waiting for you, Totchi, but it seems you can't spend a second without your lovely boyfriend", Kei said and walked towards them. "Well... maybe we can take you both."

Toshiya gulped nervously. He had no idea what to do. There was someone standing in every direction. He had already been hoping that Kei and his buddies would leave them alone but obviously they really wanted to revenge.

"Ooh... a sudden silence! Don't tell me you are scared..." Yuki started teasing. "You used to act so cool and brave when we were friends..."

Toshiya saw Kyo gritting his teeth and he knew that Kyo would be able to attack all the other boys soon. The older boy just looked so angry. But there was too many of them standing there and they wouldn't have a chance to do anything. There were seven of them and it was way too many against two. They would get killed if they tried to do something.

"Why can't you all just leave us alone?" Toshiya asked and all the courage he had had was completely gone. "Why do you have to follow us everywhere? You already got expelled from school, just get over it already..."

"And whose fault it is that we can't go to school anymore?" Kei hissed. "It is you, Totchi. You told principal Manabu what we did to that little piece of shit, you betrayed your friends. You are the one who's responsible of this. You ruined our life."

"No, you're the ones who ruined your own lifes!" Kyo shouted. "You almost killed me. I would had died if Toshiya hadn't come and saved me. You deserved to get expelled."

Kei took another step forward and Toshiya gulped again. Kyo had just made a great mistake when opening his mouth.

"Still talking, are you?" Kei hissed. "You know what? When we kicked your ass that day, I almost felt a little bit sorry for you! Isn't it ridiculous? Well, you didn't die..." Another step towards Kyo and Toshiya. "This time you will and I can promise that I'm not going to feel any sorry for you. Guys, get them."

Toshiya looked around him in panic when all the guys around them came closer and closer. Kyo tried to stay calm but Toshiya knew he was as scared as himself. Though Toshiya was scared as hell, he still knew what to do. He had saved Kyo's life once and he wouldn't hesitate doing it again.

He would protect his friend. He wouldn't let anyone hurt him because he cared about him too much.

"Oh look. Toshiya's giving his life for his boyfriend", Mizuki said in a cold tone. "How sweet. Too bad you won't be able to protect him." After that Mizuki grabbed Toshiya's wrist and pulled him closer, kicking him straight into his most sensitive arena. "Ah!" Toshiya cried out, falling to his knees. He still lifted his hand towards Kyo, but the others didn't waste time anymore. All of them attacked them at once: Kei, Mizuki and one of the Okabe's twins attacked Toshiya and the other four attacked Kyo.

Toshiya got a painful hit in his stomach and cried out again. At the same time he heard Kyo whining near him and angriness took over him. He tried to get up and fight back but there were too many of them. He had no chance to do anything. He saw Kyo fighting back too: the older boy was trying to hit and kick Yuki but it didn't work. Soon the back of Kyo's head hit the asfalt hard with a loud sound and his eyes went shut.

Toshiya's eyes started to wet. What if Kyo was dead? What if these bastards had killed Kyo?! Because the previous voice hadn't promised anything good.

"Let go of me!" he started shouting in tears, kicking with his feet as much as he could. "I SAID LET GO OF ME! YOU KILLED HIM, YOU KILLED HIM YOU BASTARDS!" Someone kicked him hard right at his face and he felt blood starting to drip from his broken nose. Every place hurt and knowing that Kyo was maybe dead was too way too much to him... But still he couldn't do anything, there were so many of them...

"YOU! STOP THAT RIGHT AWAY!!!!"

Toshiya couldn't recognise the voice but suddenly everyone stopped moving and they all looked shocked. They just stood there and stared towards the school building with wide eyes. And then he heard Kei hissing: "Let's all just get the fuck out of here. They've already gotten what they deserved. See ya around, Totchi. I hope your sweet little boyfriend-"

"Let's go already!" one of Okabe's twins shouted and they all started to run away, soon disappearing from Toshiya's sight. He could only hear footsteps coming towards him but he was too much in pain to keep his eyes open anymore. He felt like dying right there, right now. But at least he had tried to save Kyo's life... He had tried to protect his friend even if they wouldn't survive.

"HARA! NISHIMURA!" He heard a familiar voice right above him. "Hara... are you alright?"

Toshiya did his best to open his eyes and he finally did it. It was Kaoru. What was this? Had the other guys really been so scared when seeing Kaoru? He had thought someone really important person was coming, some teacher or... but it was only Kaoru. "What does it... look like? Do I look like... I'm okay?" Toshiya answered quietly. "But don't care about me. Kyo's more important..."

"Toshimasa-"

"Didn't you hear me? Kyo's way more important than I am! I can... make it myself... You must help... him. Please..."

Yoshiki and Gackt were still arguing inside when the door suddenly opened and both turned around. Kaoru came in, carrying Kyo's thin body in his arms, breathing heavily. After him was Toshiya, blood dripping from his broken nose. Both teachers looked at their students in shock and just stood there for a while doing nothing, as if they didn't know what to say or to do.

"Help him..." Toshiya breathed, crying and falling on to his knees on the floor. "Please don't let him die... Save him. You must... save him."

Yoshiki quickly ran to Kaoru and helped him to put Kyo down on the teacher's sofa. "Gackt, don't just stand there! Do something! Go get principal Manabu!" Yoshiki breathed with shaking hands, trying his best to wake up Kyo.

"Yes, yes of course!" Gackt answered right away and left the room. Kaoru kneeled in front of sobbing Toshiya and tried to get him up. Yoshiki was still trying to make Kyo wake up but it didn't work. Toshiya saw it and continued to whine: "THEY KILLED HIM... He's DEAD... I can't believe he's DEAD..."

"Please don't tell me he's dead, sensei", Kaoru whispered in shock with his lips trembling too. "He can't be dead..."

Yoshiki let go of Kyo and walked to the other two with a serious look on his pale face. Toshiya and Kaoru were both almost sure that Kyo was dead because Yoshiki's look didn't promise anything good. "No, he's not dead", their teacher finally answered. "He is still breathing. But he seriously needs help. If principal Manabu isn't coming soon, we really must call an ambulance."

Toshiya's whole body was shaking and he couldn't even breath properly. "Hara, you must calm down", Yoshiki said quietly. "You must calm down and rest. You don't look much better than your friend." Kaoru nodded. "He's right. Stop worrying about Nishimura, he'll be alright..."

"I'm FINE!" Toshiya shouted. "Why don't you understand that you must help him and not me!!!!"

Finally after few minutes principal Manabu arrived and Kyo was taken somewhere to take care of with Toshiya. "You did very well, Kaoru. I am proud of you", principal said when they had been taken away. Kaoru tried to smile a bit but it was very difficult when two students had almost been killed. None of them wasn't Kaoru's friend at all but Kaoru was worried anyway. Some strange way he cared about those two boys though they had always been such a horrible students of his. But he cared about them anyway. It was so complicated...

"Thank you", he said and managed to smile a bit. "I'm just wondering... what is happening to those guys who did this? I mean Okabe's twins and-"

"Oh, how should I say it... They are definitely not getting away with his", Mana answered thoughtfully. "There's one thing we can be sure of. We're not going to see them anymore near this school." After saying this principal left the room. Kaoru was left alone sitting on the sofa and he didn't know what to do at all. Maybe he should had been going home because he wasn't needed here anymore. He had already done everything he had to do. He had saved Toshiya and Kyo and that's for it.

"Kaoru?"

Kaoru recognised the voice right away and saw Gackt coming inside once again. His teacher gave him a strange look he had never seen on his face before. Kaoru took it as a way to tell him that he should go home already. "Yes, I know. I'm leaving already, sensei", he said and walked past his teacher, but was stopped by the man. "I mean it, I must go home now."

"No. You're not going anywhere before we have talked", Gackt said and sounded somehow... cold? There was no warmth that could be heard in man's voice.

"Let me go!" Kaoru hissed and tried to get away from Gackt's grip. "We have nothing to talk about, get it? Now let go of me!!!" He lifted his gaze and stared straight into his teacher's eyes. They were so cold... so cold... He tried to get free from the older man's grip but it was impossible. "Please... please don't..."

"We are going to talk. Stop that and listen to me!" Gackt shouted. "I said stop that!!!"

"Sensei, you're hurting me!" Kaoru cried out.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" he heard Yoshiki shouting from the doorway and Gackt was soon ripped off of him. Yoshiki looked even more angry than he had ever been when he was staring at Gackt. "I can't believe that after all that happened a while ago, you still keep trying to harrass him? Two of our students could had died and all you care about is-"

"Oh shut the fuck up already! You know nothing! I just want to talk to Kaoru, do you understand?!"

"Talk? Oh really? It didn't look like that! Kaoru, are you okay? Come, let's go... I'll take you home." Kaoru nodded, not wasting anymore time. He quickly walked out of the door, Yoshiki following him right after.

"Did he hurt you?" his math's teacher asked with a worried expression on his face when they started walking towards the teacher's car's parking place. Kaoru nodded. "Yes... he did hurt me. But only a little bit", he whispered.

"I'm sorry about everything you have to go through... I just wish he would understand what he's doing to you. He's not complitely a bad person, he just... doesn't think straight what he's doing." Kaoru nodded again. Yoshiki continued talking. "And I'm sorry you have been forced to watch the two of us fighting but... You must understand that I'm only doing it because I care about you. I don't want you to get hurt... Do you trust me, Kaoru?"

Kaoru turned his head so that he could look at his teacher. Yes, he did trust him. "I... trust you", he answered. And he felt very happy after saying that.
