Chapter Thirteen/Epilogue
Five years later
"Daddy tell me again. Was she beautiful?" Orlando looked at his daughter and smiled. His throat still tightened when he thought of Ophelia.
"Oh Princess she was the most beautiful thing ever." He told her tucking her into her bed and sitting beside her.
"Do you think she would have liked me?" she asked him, looking up with the big blue eyes she got from her mother.
"She would have thought you were just perfect. Like I do." Orlando said closing his eyes trying to keep the tears at bay.
"Can you stay here a bit longer Daddy?" She asked snuggling into his chest.
"Sure Ophelia. I'll never leave you." He fell asleep with her in his arms and dreamed of her mother dancing in a green forest. Laughing and singing and smiling at him.
****I know this is a bit sad and I'm sorry if anyone was upset by it. Unfortuneatly life isn't always rainbows and butterflies (I stole that from Maroon 5) and this story had to have a bitterweet ending.
Thanks for all the reviews!!*****
