“Look, Brian,” he said calmly into the phone, “I’m really sorry I didn’t tell you about Bree… I was afraid you’d freak out if you knew I was in love with your sister, I mean… We’re best friends, that couldn’t be easy… I didn’t think she liked me back,” he laughed, sounding happy. “It’s amazing and you don’t have to worry, I’d never hurt her. Needless to say our arrangement is off,” he laughed.

I felt such a wave of anger pass through me. I didn’t need this right now, especially after today. The doctor said something was wrong with my cat scan, he put me on fucking antipsychotics, what the fuck is that shit?!

“What happened to growing old together you fucking asshole?!” I yelled into the receiver. “Thanks for promising not to hurt her, but what about me you fucking dick!?”

“What are you talking about, Brian?” he asked.

So that was it? He’s just going to pretend we never had anything?!

I got off the phone with Brian and blinked.

What is he talking about?

He had to be on something… The last month or so, he’s been acting so off… Saying ridiculous things, like he was trippin’ or something.

I ignored the voice in the back of my head that screamed something was seriously wrong…
