Storm(Pt1)
Joe came in from outside where he had been watching the turbulent ocean as the storm started to blow in. Sav was sitting in the overstuffed chair writing in his journal again. Joe waited on him to acknowledge he was there. 'This all seems very familiar,' he thought. 'It's the same situation as before.'
“What is it Joe?” Sav asked softly, pulling Joe from his thoughts.
“Um….have you seen Nick?”
”No, and I don’t care too. I don’t keep tabs on him, he comes and goes when he wants too, unlike some of us.” Sav was still engrossed in his writing.
“Didn’t mean to bother you.”
“Did you need something?” Sav asked.
“No.” Joe replied and went back outside, slamming the door behind him.
It was then that Sav finally looked up. 'What has gotten in to him,' he thought. Shrugging it off as nothing, he went back to writing.

Shoving his hands in his pockets, Joe strolled back out onto the beach. Sand blew around his bare feet, flashes of lightening brightened the sky in the distances. “Nothing has changed.” he mumbled.
“What do you mean, nothing has changed?” Nick's voice carried over the wind from behind him.
Joe spun around. “I was….don’t sneak up on me! I hate it when you do that.”
“You should have felt me through our bond.”
”Well I didn’t, not until just now anyway.”
“Good, then it’s getting stronger.” Nick said and moved up beside him. His long black trench coat blowing away from his legs. “Storm blowing in.”
“Looks like a bad one.”
“Possibly.” Nick replied. “You were looking for me.”
“Yes, I um…..wanted to….needed….” Joe words trailed off when he looked at him and immediately felt Nick’s desire. He turned away quickly. “I needed to ask you a question?”
“That is.”
“How much longer do I have to stay here?”
Nick leaned forward and saw his face. “Until you can control your inner self. Why didn’t you ask Sav?”
“He was busy.” Joe grumbled. Large raindrops began to fall and the wind picked up, thunder crashed in the distance. Joe felt his long sharp teeth with his tongue. “How can I do that when I rarely leave this house? All Sav does is write in that damn journal. I’m ready to tear it to shreds. It’s almost as it was before with him.”
”Why do you say that?”
“He’s cold, distancing himself again. It’s like these past weeks didn’t even happen.”
“He gets that way sometimes, when he has something weighing heavily on his mind. He retreats to writing for a while, just give him a little space and he’ll come around.”
Joe was thoughtfully about what he said. “I never thought about it in that way, until now. He did it a lot before we came here and then a few days before he left.”
“It has nothing to do with you, just his way of dealing with whatever is on his mind. He's not going to leave you again. Try not to let your insecurities rare up again.” Nick told him.
“Well, its a little late for that.” Joe kicked at the sand.
“He is not going to leave you again, Joe.”
“How can you be so sure?”
Nick smiled at him in the darkness. “Shall we go in before we get soaked?”
Joe turned his head upward to the skies letting the rain splatter on his face. “I’ve already taken a shower once today.”
“I think a challenging game of chess to pass the time in this storm is in order.”
“Sounds fun, one day I will beat you at it.”
Nick chuckled. “Maybe.”
“You didn't answer my question.”
“Stop worrying about it, he's not going to leave you for a very long time. I know these things." Nick finished with a shrug of his shoulder.

Joe and Nick were engrossed in another game of chess. Nick had beaten him once already and Joe seemed to be winning this time or Nick was letting him win. Sav would occasionally glance up at them from his vantage point from the other side of the room, then scribbled more notes in his journal. Between the three of them they had consumed almost eight bottles of blood wine, even Nick was feeling the effects of the liquor. The storm outside was howling around the house, but the three of them didn’t pay attention to the occasional loud claps of thunder, or the heavy rain pelting the roof.
“Looks like I have you on the run Nick.” Joe said after taking his queen.
“It appears that way.” Nick said solemnly, and contemplated his next move.
Joe sat back and waited for him to move and finished off his drink, reaching for the bottle, he refilled his glass. He glanced over at Sav and caught him staring intently at him, the pen slowly moving across his lips.
Without conscience thought, Sav flicked his tongue out over the pen top. As Joe watched him, Sav slowly pushed the slim cylinder into his mouth and closed his lips around the pen, then pulled it back out just as slow, only to be pushed back in. Doing that several more times, the implications behind the display were evident. Joe’s heart thumped in his chest and a stirring in his groin. His thoughts turned to what it felt like to slide his aching shaft into Sav’s luscious mouth, the way his lips slid over the sensitive skin and his tongue pressed hard against the underside………
“Mr. Elliott.” Nick called him and got no response. “Joe!”
“Uh….” Joe said and turned to him, pulling him from his thoughts.
“It’s your turn.”
“Oh.” Joe replied and glanced quickly at Sav. Joe could see the slight smile on his lips at how he had distracted him from the game. Joe moved one of his pieces and his gaze went back to Sav. He was closing his journal and stood up, before he made a move to leave, he gave Joe a sultry look and went into the kitchen. Joe could see him out of the corner of his eye pouring another glass of blood wine.
“My turn?” Joe asked Nick.
“Yes.”
Nick watched him make his move and knew then that his mind was not on the game anymore and saw him look over at Sav again. Nick followed his gaze to where he was in the kitchen, lightly running his fingers over his chest and across his nipples, then further down below the counter. His eyes were locked with Joe’s. Sav’s tongue came out to run sensually over his dry lips. Nick saw the small movement of his hips and knew where his hand was. He sensed other movement but his eyes never left Sav. Nick saw Joe slowly move up behind him, he brought his hand up and moved his shirt from his shoulder, he leaned down to lightly kiss the exposed skin.
Moving closer to his neck, Sav closed his eyes and leaned his head on Joe’s shoulder. Brushing his hair away, Joe trailed his tongue and teeth along the vein to his ear, sucking his earlobe between his teeth. Joe flicked his tongue across it. Sav moaned deep in his throat and ground his hips back against him. Running his hand down Sav’s bare chest to settle over his as he rubbed himself through his jeans. Turning his head, he met Joe’s lips with his in a light kiss, barely touching, their tongues sliding together. Joe pushed the shirt down his arms. Sav stepped away, talking his glass and the bottle of blood wine, he left Joe standing there. A shiver coursed through Joe at the promise of Sav’s kiss, waiting mere seconds before he followed him to the back of the house.
Nick was mesmerized by them and became aroused at their display, before they both disappeared from the room. Shaking his head, Nick glanced away, staring at the chessboard. Picking up one of his Bishops, Nick twisted it between his fingers, deep in thought, finally placing it back on the board he slid it across and took Joe’s King. A smile crept to his lips, staring at the King lying on the Chessboard.
