Chapter Fifteen
"And what kind of lesson would that be Mr. Nasty?" I asked with a giggle, admiring the mischief I found in his deep brown eyes.
"That you don't mess with Simon Cowell," he responded as he pushed me backwards into his plush leather couch and fell on top of me, his mouth immediately latching onto my neck. I groaned in response as he sucked on the cord of muscle he found there, while his left hand snaked up my shirt, finding my breast and kneading it lightly. I ran my hands up his strong back, and settled into his hair, burying my fingers along with them.
My mouth fell open as I relished in the feeling of Simon's hot, moist mouth on my bare skin. I ran my hands underneath his shirt and dragged my nails up and down his bare back as Simon continued his ministrations.
Suddenly a knock came at the door, and Simon groaned at the interruption.
"Who is it?" Simon asked, the irritation obvious in his voice.
"Simon?" called out a raspy, British voice.
Terri.
My eyes locked with Simon's, wide-eyed, and I panicked. He placed an index finger over his lips, encouraging me to keep quiet as he moved off of me, and straightened his shirt. I sat up as well, quickly running my hands through my tangled hair and straightening my clothes, giving myself a quick glance in his large full-length mirror in hopes my face wasn't too flushed.
"Act natural," Simon mouthed to me, his hand on the doorknob.
"Hello love," he greeted Terri, placing a chaste kiss on his cheek as she entered the room.
I felt Terri's eyes lock on me when she entered, obviously surprised that I was there.
"Paula," she greeted me with a forced tone. "I'm glad you're here, I needed to interview both of you for Extra."
Glad I was here. Ha. Right.
Simon stood behind Terri, and I avoided making eye contact with him, knowing that one look into his eyes, still dark from arousal, would make me lose it.
"Sure," I said sweetly, patting the space on the couch beside me softly.
Terri began the interview as Simon took a seat on the other side of me. He placed a hand right behind me, using his thumb to lightly caress my behind. After a series of questions, and a few suspicious looks from Terri, she announced that we were finished.
"Well, I should be getting home," I said, standing up. "Have a good evening you two. Goodnight."
I exited quickly, needing to get out of there as fast as I could. I heard quick footsteps behind me, running to catch up, and I knew without even having to turn around that it was Simon.
"Paula!" he called, wrapping his large hand around my arm when he reached me. I turned around to face him as he spoke.
"This isn't over, you know. "
Then he flashed that brilliant smile my way- -you know, the 'Simon Cowell smile'. The smile that makes all girls go weak in the knees, including me. I returned his smile and uttered four little words, which made his smile even bigger.
"You bet it's not."
He kissed me softly on the lips before I retreated from him. I took and deep breath and prayed my knees wouldn't give out on me before I could get out of Simon's sight.
