Ah good times, rereading this! My personal favorite chapter. It took forever and a day to write. It was supposed to match up with the date, but disaster struck me and.. you know. Let me just say: the interview is NOT real, the dates are MADE UP.
Enjoy!

He was such an ass, but there he was. And she was watching him on TV with such sadness that she couldn’t take it. She watched the interview.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“So Billie, tell me, are you planning on making a follow-up record, or is this your last?” Asked the interviewer.
"Most definitely not our last. By far.” He answered, smiling. Tre smiled halfheartedly beside him, his mind elsewhere.
“That’s good. SO do you have an expected time frame for this new album? Or possibly a title?” She asked. Billie shook his head.
“All I know is it will be released early next year. No title as of yet.” He said.
“How did touring this time change you guys?”
“Well, we all gained and lost some things. Some, more than others,” He glanced at Tre momentarily. “But I know I have gained the appreciation of being home all over again.”
“Well we’re going to a commercial, we’ll be back with more Green Day!”
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“Alexis, where are you?” Her mother called, looking in her room. “Oh God, Alex. When will you get over that? He didn’t want you, he cheated on you. He’s a no-good punk that you’re better off without!”
“Mom, shut the fuck up.” She spat, her eyes glued to the TV screen. He was there, and she could see him. She missed him so much. She didn’t know why she had forgiven him, but she did. She never wanted to leave once she left.
“Alexis Marie Cole!” She said, her mouth dropping. She left the room indignantly, leaving Alexis ‘alone’ with Tre once more. They cut to commercial and she rummaged around in her purse, looking for the Starbucks napkin from two months ago. She had to have it somewhere…
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“Tre, man! It’s good to see you out of the house and all clean!” Billie said, hugging him. Mike merely stood by. He was pissed. The way he had treated such a good girl, it disgusted him.
“Yeah, I figured it was time. I needed to do something. Sitting around waiting for her didn’t get me anywhere. And then I remembered, she doesn’t have my number or know where I live.” He smiled. Billie sighed. It was good to hear Tre’s jokes again. Even though that wasn’t really a joke, it was okay to laugh.
“Okay guys, we’re back on in three, two, one..”
“Hey there, welcome back to The Stir Fry!” Said the interview girl. “I’m Janet Kline and I’m here with Green Day. Billie, was touring a good experience?”
“Yes, most definitely. It showed us we have fans wherever we go.” He answered.
“And people who don’t even know us!” Tre piped in, talking about Alexis.
“You were on tour with the Thrasher’s this year, what were they like? Are they the next Nirvana, or Green Day?” She asked.
“Uh, I’m not sure. We couldn’t really hear them that much, we had other stuff. Tre watched them a few times during the stretch home.” Billie said.
“Tre? Anything good about the Thrasher’s?” She asked. He nodded.
“They have a good beat, nice lyrics. Good music in general. I would definitely pay money to see them.” He said. She smiled, looking to her sheet for another question.

Alexis heard him talk so passionately about music at one time. She heard him talk. It was such a relief to hear his voice after so long without it. She wanted him back, but knew, or thought she knew, he had someone else already to replace her. She was no good anymore. He had someone that could go out and get his drinks for him, someone with more experience.
She understood his loneliness completely. She had indulged --and regretted afterwards-- in some innocent little kisses between her and Jake. She wanted comfort back then. Something Tre couldn’t give her, because he was the reason she needed it. She needed him now, however. She needed his voice up close in her ear, she needed his strong arms holding her, protecting her.
She needed him so bad.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“So guys, what are your plans for Thanksgiving?” Janet asked.
“I know I’m going to see Jakob, Joey and Adrienne at home. And then possibly to the in-laws.” He said, jokingly shuddering. “Love you, mom. Dad. Babies, Adrienne.”
“I don’t know. I’m definitely going to see Stella. That’s a definite.” Mike said, shrugging.
“I am probably going to see Frankito and Ramona and going back home to celebrate with a few of the people I don’t see year round…” He said, glaring at the other two in mock. They all shared a hearty laughed and they cut to a quick commercial.
“So Tre, who are the people you are going to have over?” Billie asked, interested in hearing about it for the first time.
“Oh, no one. I was just trying to sound less pathetic on-air.” He said, smiling ruefully. Billie rolled his eyes
“Well, you’re welcome over at my house. You know that. And Adie’s mom and dad love you.” He said, shaking his head. Tre nodded. “Okay?”
“Sure, man.” Tre answered, waiting for the on-air signal to appear. He hated being live.
“So Tre, speaking of love…” Janet began, and Tre’s eyes widened, knowing what was coming. He bit his lip. “Is there a lucky lady in your life?”
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“Of course there is, you stupid, idiotic moron! He’s Tre fucking Cool! He has got millions of lucky ladies throwing themselves at his doorstep day in and day out!” Alexis screamed at the TV, jumping off her bed. She faced the TV, standing in front of it, inches away, waiting for his answer. She knew what was coming before it happened.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“You know, what, Janet?” He asked, blinking. She shook her head, smiling stupidly. “There was one time. But I screwed up bad. Real bad. I cheated on her with some common crack whore. I’ll admit it, but I’m not proud of it. We had our fair share of problems leading up to that, what with the media, I’m sure everyone has heard about, and then her calling for a trial sep… trial sep… I can’t even bring myself to say it.” He paused, clearing his throat. Talking about it made him feel vulnerable, but the fans wanted the truth. “A trial separation. I got drunk, in stupidity, and slept with the girl. She found out about it the next morning, coming to surprise me. I think we were both surprised that morning… But I do have a lucky lady. And if she’s watching, I want to say… I’m so sorry, babe. I never meant for this to happen. I love you, Ally Cole.”
“That’s so sweet, Tre.” Janet sniffed. She only whished some guy would be man enough to get up on stage and admit his love. “I think we’re going to another break so we can get my make-up fixed.”
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
There it was. The napkin. Would he have his phone on him? Could she call him right now? She dialed the number in and waited. It rang.
“Hello?” Mike asked in a questioning tone.
“Mike?” Alexis asked.
“Hang on a second.” He said, sounding on the edge of freaking out. “Alexis?”
“Yeah, Mike. It’s me. I’m watching. Tre, he’s… real bad, isn’t he?”
“I guess. I haven’t talked to him since that night. At least, not excessively.” He said. “So how are you?”
“Mike! You are going back on air in like two minutes!” Alexis laughed. “I’m worse than okay. Going crazy with need. I still love him, Mike.”
“I’m sorry. Do you want to talk to him?” he asked. She bit her lip. What would this do to her now?
“Put him on, but I’ll just hang up once I say what I need to. Don’t tell him who it is either.” She said, thinking of what to say.
“Yellow?” He asked, sounding like a strained man, but only putting on a happy façade. She could tell that much, just from one word.
“Tre Cool. Frank Edwin Wright III. I love you so much.”
There was a pause. “Ally?” He asked questioningly. She hung up, feeling her tears come.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“Mike, was that Ally? My Ally?” He asked, his voice cracking. Mike nodded. “She still loves me…”
“Hey everyone, we’re back. I’m here with Green Day. But only for a last few minutes before they have to head off to the studio!” Janet said, smiling her perfectly white smile into the camera.
“Janet, can I say one last thing?” He didn’t wait for her to nod or do anything, he simply faced a camera. “Ally, I know you’re watching now. Come back to me, please. I miss you so much. I know how much of a pussy this makes me look like, but no one understands the hell I’ve gone through without her… Ally. I love you. Come back to me. I‘ve walked alone too long.”

That's got to be the longest chapter ever. I'm too tired to post the other one. My bed is calling for me.
As a last note, I didn't know Panic at the Disco released a new album until today. I am currently listening to Northern Downpour. >_< I feel dumb.
I'm sorry Ryan, Spencer, Brendon and Jon. Don't hurt me.
And no one else hurt me!
