"Everything's all set." Amanda walked up to the altar where Clay was standing. Next to him reluctantly stood Ruben, who had to really work hard to keep himself calm and not smash Clay into bits like he really wanted to. "We're ready to begin."
"Great." Clay smiled. "Let's go."
Amanda smiled back and cued the musician on duty. As requested, he started to play Clay's signature song, This is the Night, for the march. The song truly reflected Clay's feelings about this moment.
He looked down the aisle...and his smile quickly faded.
To his surprise...it was Kim that was walking up the aisle.
He looked at Ruben. "You said she wasn't coming!" He whispered angrily.
"Oh, really?" Ruben replied sarcastically. "Oops, guess I lied. Sorry, dawg." He said with a smile.
Clay gave him a dirty look in response.
Kim walked up to Ruben and kissed him gently. She turned to Clay and gave him a superior smile as she made her way to the bride's side.
'Ruben has already screwed me over, but you won't.' He thought. He turned to Kim and started to tell her she looked beautiful.
But Kim didn't give him a chance to say anything for she gave him the finger.
"Talk to the finger, boy, 'cause you ain't even worth the whole damn hand." She told him.
Clay wanted to respond, but his anger soon turned to joy as he saw Amber making her way down the aisle. She looked so beautiful...he was actually able to take his mind off the 'Dynamic Duo' he was standing between.
She made her way to him, an excited smile gracing her face.
They turned to Amanda and the ceremony began.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the joining of Clay and Amber in holy matrimony..."

"At this time, Clay and Amber have prepared their own vows to share with is and each other."
Clay turned to Amber. "Amber, the day that I met you. I knew that you'd make an impact on my life...and boy, you sure did. You taught me what it was like to truly love someone as much as I love you. The moment you agreed to be my wife, you made me the happiest man alive. And the fact that you are standing here with me today, ready to take my hand and go on the best journey of our lives...makes me really glad that you chose me to spend the rest of your life with. And I promise that from this moment forward, I will do everything in my power to make you as happy as you have made me."
'Blah, blah, blah.' Ruben thought.
"Clay...though we've only known each other for a few months, you have changed me for the better. I've become a better person because of you. I've learned to respect people for their differences instead of trash them, as I have learned to respect you. I admit, you were a simple fan obsession at first, but once I got to know you better, I was able to look past your voice and see you for what you truly are..."
Kim and Ruben both held their breath. But what Amber would say next...was unexpected even to them.
"A lying, vengeful, selfish son of a bitch!" She slapped him hard! Kim's mouth dropped open. She, as well as Ruben were totally stunned by this turn of events.
"What the hell were you thinking, Clay?" She yelled. "How the hell could you stand here, look me in the eyes and tell me you love me...knowing that you raped my best friend?!"
Ruben smiled at Kim from over Clay's shoulder. She gave him a thumbs up in return.
"Not only did you rape her, you did it twice! And the last time was on the night of our engagement party of all places!"
"Amber, I-"
"How could you do this? To me and to Kim?"
"You mean, Kim told you-" Clay started to ask.
"You're damn right she told me! She told me everything! We're best friends after all...the way you and her used to be. See, I knew you two were close. I had the idea that you two might have wanted a night with each other. You wanna know something? Being the good friend that I am, I would have given it to you. I cared for the both of you that much, I would have done that for you. But you couldn't wait, could you, Clay? You just had to take what you wanted, no matter how you did it. And you were stupid enough to think that Kim wouldn't tell me the whole story eventually? Well, she did, and I'm glad. If it wasn't for her, I would have married you...and made the single biggest mistake of my life! I don't know why you did what you did, and to be honest, I really don't care. The bottom line is that you did it. Tell me one thing, Clay."
"Anything."
"Do you believe in karma? You know, 'What goes around comes around'?"
"Yeah."
"Well, guess what? It's coming around right now." She turned to Ruben. "I believe you two were having a conversation earlier...and Amanda came in just before you were about to punch Clay, am I right?"
"Yes, you are."
"In that case...care to pick up where you left off?"
"Amber...it would be my pleasure."
"Oh, boy..." Clay turned to run, but Amber blocked his way.
"I don't think so."
He turned to his left...and was met by Kim.
"There's no way out of this one, Clay."
He turned to his right...and was met by Ruben's fist in his face. He fell backwards towards Kim, but she pushed him back towards Ruben where he got punched in the stomach. He turned around, only to get a kick in the groin, thanks to Kim. He fell to his knees in pain. But they weren't done yet. Amber walked up to him and slapped him hard once more, knocking him face down on the ground.
Ruben and Kim hugged and Amber gave them both a high five. She then walked over to Clay.
"You know what, Clay? I would tell you to take this ring and shove it..." She took her engagement ring off. "But I doubt your head leaves little room in your ass for anything else. Oh, and by the way..." She threw the ring down at him. "I don't!"
With that, she stormed off, Ruben and Kim not far behind her.
Clay was able to open his eyes and watch his love walk away from him.
"Oh, man..." He groaned. 'What was supposed to be the best day of my life turned into the worst...thanks to that spoiled brat, Kim. First, she turns Ruben against me...now she's cost me the woman I love. Well, enough is enough. It's time for her to pay for everything you've done to me. And as God is my witness, you will pay...with your life.'
