My Babies Daddy

It wasn't until her dad had knocked on her door, and entered as soon as she called out for him to enter, that her nervousness that had been building slowly all morning came to a boiling point. She knew that the ceremony would be starting in ten minutes time.

Her dad took her in, and was awed by her beauty. He eyed her stomach and smiled gently at the fact it was his and Karen's grandchildren in there, their first grandchildren of hopefully many more to come.

He walked up to her and placed a kiss on her forehead, and told her "You look beautiful sweetheart." He added, gently patting her stomach "And you're glowing, being pregnant looks beautiful on you."

Nikki smiled gently at her father and allowed him to take her into his arms and hold her. He whispered to her "I feel like I'm about to lose you, your all grown up. You're no longer my baby, your going to have two of your own."

Nikki told her father firmly "You're not going to lose me dad, never. I'll always be your first born, nothing can ever change that. No matter how many children I have, or how many years I and Zac spend together. I am always going to be your baby girl."

Her father squeezed her gently before placing another kiss on her forehead. He whispered "I love you sweetheart." Nikki squeezed her father back and said "I love you too dad."

Carl pulled back and held her at arms length and said "Zac is one lucky guy. You're going to make him a fine wife. Remember sweetheart, you've got a real good one there. Don't ever take him granted, he's a keeper."

Nikki nodded and replied "Yeah, I know dad. I love him so much. I want to spend the rest of my life with him that is why I'm marrying him today." Her father nodded and pulled back.

He took her hand, as she picked up her bouquet with her free hand. He gestured to the door and said "Shall we?" Nikki took a deep breath and nodded. She then allowed her dad to lead her out of the room. She knew next time she entered a bedroom she'd be somebody's wife, it would be her wedding night.

As soon as they reached the double doors to the large hall that they would be having the ceremony in, they were met by Amanda and the other girls, and the guys. Zac and Elijah were already inside waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Amanda walked up to Carl and said "Here, you're the only one who has yet been given his button hole rose." She then proceeded to pin the white rose onto the left hand lapel of his tuxedo coat. She then stood back and nodded satisfied.

She turned to Nikki and grinned and told her "Zac already has his red button hole rose. His mother cornered him and made sure to put it on him. I think she poked him for good measures with the pin, for complaining about having to wear it."

Nikki giggled, as she could just imagine the whole scene. She then took a deep breath when she heard the music for the others to make their entrance start to play. They all got into position with their partners.

Mackenzie who looked incredibly sweet with her ginger hair pinned on top of her head in barrel curls. She had tiny white roses in her hair, instead of the rhinestone pins the other older girls had.

She looked pretty in her ivory coloured dress, that had a pale lilac trim all around the bottom, and a flower shaped lilac belt around her waist. And she had on tiny ivory coloured ballerina shoes with ribbons on.

She was carrying a white basket covered in ribbons and the same material Nikki's veil was made of. Inside were white and red rose petals. She was standing in front, as she would be the first to go though and throw rose petals as she went along.

Amanda was behind her, and Vanessa and Phillip were next, followed by Ashley and Dylan and Brittany and Joey. They would ascend in that order down the isle. The girls and guys beamed at Nikki. Vanessa beamed at her and said "This is it, your finally going to be Mrs, Blonsky-Efron."

Nikki nodded and watched as they all went through the double doors, leaving just her and her father. Less then a minute later the music ceased, before seconds later the bridal march began to play. Nikki nodded to her father, and took another deep breath, before briefly squeezing the arm he offered to her.

Meanwhile back inside of the hall, Zac and Elijah stood at the front and watched, as Mackenzie came walking down the isle, scattering red and white rose petals on the floor. Zac and Elijah exchanged a small and amused smile. They both knew Mackenzie had a crush on Zac.

Zac was little embarrassed about it, but did find it kind of amusing. Elijah got a kick out of watching Zac squirm when the little girl would stare at him. Nikki on the other hand thought it was incredibly sweet, and would giggle when Zac would become uncomfortable.

Next Amanda came walking down the isle, this caused Elijah to smile, while Zac chuckled silently to himself, and shot Elijah a knowing look. Elijah was well and truly smitten and in it for the long run. He wouldn’t honestly be surprised if Elijah was to ask Amanda to marry him in a couple of year’s time.

Next come Vanessa and Phillip. Zac could definitely see they were perfect for each other, and looked wonderful side by side. Both had dark hair and dark eyes. They made quite the picture.

Next come Ashley and his younger brother. He resisted the urge to laugh out loud. He knew his brother was thrilled to be walking down the isle with Ashley on his arm. He had always fancied Ashley. It was just too bad Ashley was in love with and dating their HSM co-star, Chris Warren Jr, who played Zeke Baylor.

Next come Brittany and Joey. And yet again, Joey had a crush on Brittany. But Brittany was dating one of the backup dancers from Hairspray, Curtis Holbrook, he played Brad. They had been dating just over a year.

Finally everyone was in their places where they should be. The music had finally stopped, only for it to start up again, only this time it was the bridal march that was playing. Zac knew exactly who would be walking down the isle to this piece of music.

Zac took a deep breath; he could feel his hands starting to sweat. He shifted from one foot to the other. Elijah eyed him discreetly from out of the corner of his eye. And had to resist the urge to not cringe, Zac looked about ready to keel over. Oh boy.

Then finally there she was, slowly coming down the isle on her father's arm. Zac felt his breath catch in his throat. She looked stunning. There were no words to describe how she currently looked. Vanessa had been right, she was glowing, and there were no actual words to describe how beautiful she looked.

Michelle eyed Nikki with a small smile. Michelle thought Nikki hadn't looked more beautiful up until that moment. And then there was her baby bump and the fact she was glowing. Michelle silently thought pregnancy definitely looked stunning on Nikki.

Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, and Olesya Rulin, Ryne Sanborn and Chris Warren Jr, all members of the HSM cast, grinned at each other, as they looked from Zac to Nikki. They all thought Nikki looked beautiful. Zac was definitely a lucky guy. They could tell from the look on his face that he was more then aware of this.

Soon Nikki and her father stopped in front of Zac and the vicar. Carl placed Nikki’s hand in Zac’s, after placing one last kiss on her cheek. He then shook hands with Zac, exchanging a look with the younger man, silently telling him to take care of his baby girl, or else. Zac nodded briefly, in silent reply.

Nikki then handed her bouquet to Amanda, before turning back to face Zac and the vicar. The vicar then went though the usual boring formalities, talking about how marriage was a holy commitment that shouldn’t be entered into lightly.

He then asked everyone if anyone knew of any lawful impediment as to why these two people shouldn’t be married. He told them to speak now or forever hold your peace. No one said anything, the hall remained silent.

Of course Zac and Nikki hadn’t been expecting anyone to protest. Well, perhaps Lana and her cousin would have, but they were currently dealing with Zac’s lawyer, and were in no fit position to be protesting any wedding, never mind Zac and Nikki’s.

The vicar then continued on a head, finally satisfied no one was about to stand up or barge in and protest. He cleared his throat and turned to Zac and asked “Will you Zachary David Alexander Efron, take Nicole Margaret Blonsky, to be your, lawfully wedded wife?” Zac replied “I will.”

The vicar then asked the same of Nikki “Will you Nicole Margaret Blonsky take, Zachary David Alexander Efron, to be your, lawfully wedded husband?” She replied “I will.”

The vicar then continued “Zachary repeat after me” Zac nodded in understanding. “I Zachary David Alexander Efron” Zac repeated “I Zachary David Alexander Efron. Do take thee Nicole Margaret Blonsky; do take thee Nicole Margaret Blonsky, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to be my lawfully wedded wife.”

The vicar went on “To have and to hold” Zac repeated “To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for richer for poorer. For better and for worse, for better and for worse, until death we do part, until death we do part.” The vicar then turned to Nikki and went through the same process with her.

“I Nicole Margaret Blonsky” Nikki repeated “I Nicole Margaret Blonsky. Do take thee Zachary David Alexander Efron; do take thee Zachary David Alexander Efron, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to be my lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for richer for poorer, for better and for worse, for better and for worse, until death we do part, until death we do part.”

The vicar then asked for the rings, Elijah stepped forwards and took out the two wedding bands from the inner pocket of his tuxedo coat. He then placed them on top of the book, the vicar had been reading from. The bands were pure white gold. Nikki’s had tiny white diamonds all way around the band, while Zac’s was just plain white gold.

The vicar instructed Zac to take Nikki’s wedding band, and repeat after him as he placed it on her left ring finger. Zac nodded. He picked up the smaller and thinner band of the two. The vicar then said “Repeat after me. I Zachary David Alexander Efron give you Nicole Margaret Blonsky this ring as a symbol of my love promise and devotion I dewed.”

Zac repeated as he took Nikki’s hand and gently pushed the ring securely onto her left ring finger, to rest along side her engagement ring. “I Zachary David Alexander Efron give you Nicole Margaret Blonsky this ring as a symbol of my love promise and devotion I dewed.”

The vicar then told Nikki to take Zac’s ring and repeat after him, and slide the ring on Zac’s left ring finger. “I Nicole Margaret Blonsky give you Zachary David Alexander Efron this ring as a symbol of my love promise and devotion I dewed.”

Nikki repeated and took Zac’s left hand in her own. “I Nicole Margaret Blonsky give you Zachary David Alexander Efron this ring as a symbol of my love promise and devotion I dewed” she gently pushed the ring down onto his left ring finger, it was a prefect fit, just like her own was.

The vicar then said “Today before god we have witnessed the exchange of vows and rings between Zachary and Nicole. So with the powers invested in me. I now pronounce you to be husband and wife you may kiss your bride.”

The vicar smiled at Zac and gestured to Nikki. Zac smiled slightly at the Vicar, before turning back to face Nikki. He then gently placed his hands on Nikki’s cheeks and leaned forwards to capture her lips with his own, in a gentle and loving kiss. He deepened the kiss slightly, before pulling away.

The vicar then announced “It is my pleasure and honour to introduce to you, Mr. Zachary David Alexander Efron and Mrs, Nicole Margaret Blonsky-Efron.” Everyone clapped and cheered, as Zac and Nikki walked down the isle, arm in arm, after Nikki had retrieved her bouquet from Amanda, who beamed at her, Nikki returned it.

Karen and Starla both had tears in their eyes, their husbands smiled loving and indulgently as, they handed their wives a handkerchief, beaming all the while. Zac and Nikki chuckled when they saw this, and exchanged knowing looks with their fathers.

Amanda and Elijah, followed behind Zac and Nikki, arm in arm, while Vanessa and Phillip, Ashley and Dylan, and Joey and Brittany followed behind, in that order, also arm in arm.

As soon as they reached the outside grounds of the mansion, where they planned to take some photos, before going back inside to another large room to have the reception, Zac and Nikki were pelted with both confetti and rice.

The photographer took a photo, just as the confetti and rice was being thrown towards the couple. It would make a stunning photo when it was finally developed. Not only had the photographer Zac and Nikki had hired managed to get the same photo, but photographers from Hello and Ok magazine also managed it as well.

Zac had agreed to give Hello and Ok magazine access to the wedding, and allowed them to take some photos of the wedding. They knew if they hadn’t given those two magazines permission, then they would have only snuck in anyway.

The photographers took several shots of just Zac and Nikki in different poses. Some with their arms wrapped around each other. While some had them kissing, or just gazing at each other lovingly, but in most photos both had happy smiles adorning their faces. Even their eyes were a light with laughter and contentment.

Also some photos were taken of the bridesmaids and ushers. There was one of Amanda and Elijah on their own, as well as one of Vanessa and Phillip. Photos of just the Efron’s and Blonsky’s were also taken. And even a couple was taken with John, Christopher, Michelle, and Queen Latifah, and the HSM cast in the photo with friend’s family and the wedding party, as well.
