Chapter Twelve
"Ahhh....you...." Aleera gasped as she rode her husband. "You....you broke the...bed!!"
"Sorry," Brian groaned as he tightened his hold on her hips, the remains of the handcuffs she'd used to secure him to the headboard, which was now broken in two, dangled from his wrists like bad jewelry. "I'll buy....oh fuck...you feel so...."
His words where cut off when the phone rang.
Reaching out with one hand, and reluctantly taking his eyes from Aleera, he managed to put the phone on speaker.
"What....oh Jesus...Matt?" he panted out, his eyes going back to Aleera.
"Stop fucking and get back here," Matt said.
"Wh....why?"
"Jimmy's sick. He keeps puking up blood."
"What?" Aleera asked, the thought of reaching a mind blowing orgasm popping like a balloon.
"Something bad happened to Jimmy," Matt replied. "I want you two back here at the house. I'll send Aiden over with the car to get you."
"Can you give us an hour?" Brian asked.
"No. I'll see you two in ten minutes," he replied, then the line went dead.
"Where are you going?" Brian asked, watching as Aleera climbed off of him and headed for the bathroom.
"To clean up and get dressed," she replied. "You should do the same thing."
"I can't go home like this," he said, sitting up and gesturing to his still present erection. "And we don't have any clothes."
She turned around and looked at him.
"We don't have any clothes?" she asked.
"Nope."
"You didn't have any clothes brought over here?"
"Um, no."
"Call Matt, right now, and tell him to have Aiden bring us some clothes," Aleera said.
Without further argument, Brian did as he was told and picked up the phone again, dialing the number quickly.
"Hello?" it was Johnny.
"Johnny, it's Brian. I need you to tell Aiden to bring me and Aleera some clothes," Brian replied.
"Why?"
"It doesn't matter, just tell him, please."
"Sure thing, Syn." Johnny said.
"Thanks, Johnny-boy," Brian said, then he hung up the phone and looked at Aleera.
"Our clothes are on the way," he said.
"Good," she said, nodding as she stepped into the bathroom and took a wash cloth from the cabinet, wetting it. "Didn't Jimmy say something about someone he met in town not agreeing with him?"
"Yeah, he did," Brian said, getting up, "he puked in the pool."
"You still need to call Sammy about that," she said.
"I will, but right now Jimmy is more important then our pool," he said, crossing the room to the bathroom.
He stood in the doorway, leaning against the frame, watching his wife.
"You know, we have fifteen minutes until Aiden gets here," he said, crossing his arms over his chest.
"No, Brian," she said, throwing the wash cloth at him. "Wash up."
"I know you're mad about being interrupted, I am too," he said, "but you don't have to take it out on me. Unless you want to do it right now."
"I'm not mad about Matt calling us," she said. "I'm mad at you for not being prepared, knowing we where going to be staying here."
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you where going to shred my clothes."
"Brian, we haven't had sex in eighty years," she said. "How could I pass up the chance to make you scream like a girl?"
"I wouldn't be talking, baby," he said, smirking. "I had you screaming too."
"And I loved it," she said, smiling.
Brian looked at the clock on the wall, then at Aleera again.
"We've got thirteen minutes until Aiden gets here," he said.
"You can wait until we're home," she said.
"You are a cruel, cruel woman Aleera."
She didn't say anything, she just smiled.
"That's probably Aiden," he said when someone started pounding on the front door.
"That's not Aiden," Aleera said.
"What?" he asked, looking at her.
"That's not Aiden. He wouldn't pound on the door like that."
"Stay here," he said. "If you hear me yell, call Matt."
"Okay," she whispered, nodding, as she watched him leave the room.
Brian stepped into the hallway, listening as whomever was at the door still pound away on it, before he moved to the stairs.
Whomever was at the door was intent on getting his, or Aleera's, attention but he wasn't going to give them the satisfaction.
Creeping down the stairs, he saw that his cell phone was still on the table where he'd left it.
Reaching the bottom of the stairs, he snatched it up and was going to head for the den when he heard a crash and Aleera screaming.
Turning around, he ran back up the stairs as the front door burst open.
"Brian!!" Aleera shrieked as the bed room window burst inward and a person wearing camouflage and a mask, came into the room.
Spotting her, the person started walking towards her and pulled a gun from the holster on their hip but as they brought it up to fire, she jumped them and knocked them to the floor as the gun went off.
"Aleera!" Brian called when he heard the gun go off, running into the room. "Aleera!!"
He found her on the floor, crouched over a body, blood covering her face and upper body.
"Aleera, are you alright?" he asked, hurrying to her side.
She looked up at him, then broke into tears as he pulled her up to her feet.
"It's alright, baby," he said, putting his arms around her and hugging her tightly. "It's alright."
"I...I killed that man," she sobbed, then she looked up, fear clearly evident on her face. "We have to go. There's another one on the stairs."
"C'mon," he said, stepping away from her and leading her to the window. "Wait for me by the....."
His words where cut off by the sounds of a scuffle on the stairs, then a heavy thump.
"Master Gates?" a familiar voice called out cautiously a couple of minutes later. "Sir, it's me, Aiden."
Then a head with bright, fluorescent green hair peeked around the corner in time for Brian to grab the sheet off of the bed and hand it to Aleera. She wrapped it around herself as she said,
"Aiden, thank god you're here."
"I brought your clothes," he said, holding up a black bag, stepping into view and into the room.
"Thanks," Brian said, taking the bag from the young man. "What happened to that other guy?"
"I broke his neck," Aiden replied calmly. "I knew something was wrong when I came up the drive way and saw the guards weren't at their posts."
"What?" Brian asked, looking at him.
"Neither of the guards were at their posts," he repeated. "I tried calling your cell phone, sir, but you didn't pick up."
Brian looked at the phone in his hand and flipped it open, finding that he had missed a call from Aiden.
Aleera looked at the dead man lying at her feet, then knelt down and pulled the mask off.
She recognized him as one of the men who'd been standing "guard' when they had arrived earlier in the evening.
"Brian," she said, looking up at him.
He turned and looked at her, then at the dead man.
"Son of a bitch," he said. "Aiden, you're a fire expert right?"
"I am, sir," he said, nodding.
"Brian, what're you thinking about?" Aleera asked, stepping closer to her husband.
He looked at her.
"I'm sorry, baby, but we've gotta burn the house down," he said.
"Why?" she asked.
"To get rid of the bodies, and any evidence that we where here," he said.
"Does it matter that we where here?" she asked.
"It does ma'am," Aiden said. "The man I killed had a forensic evidence collection kit with him."
"And if anyone found out that the members of Avenged Sevenfold are well over a few hundred years old, we're all in trouble."
For a moment, she was quite then she said,
"Torch it."
Brian, nodded, handing her the clothes Aiden had brought them.
"Is there anything you want to save?" he asked.
"Yes, the picture above the fire place in the den," she replied. "The one we got when we went to Tokyo, other then that, no. The memories will be enough, and I know you'll eventually have a new house built."
"But I can't replace the furniture," he said.
"It's alright, Brian," she said. "The family is more important then the house."
"I'll get to work then," Aiden said, leaving the room.
Brian watched him go, then set about getting dressed so he could help in anyway he could.
