Warm, soft, comfortable, safe. These are the feelings I felt as I found myself waking up. Where am I? I thought to myself as I looked around a somewhat familiar room. This is Jakes place, oh no, I gotta get out of here before… my thoughts were interrupted by, “good morning baby.”
“Jake!” I said, as I tried to get up from his couch.
“hey, where do you think you’re going?” he asked, while coming closer to me.
“you just stay away from me.” I said as he started to grab for my wrist.
“Diana, calm down, don’t you want to know how you got here, and what happened to Mikey and Pete?”
I would like to know how I got from being in a hotel room tied naked to a bed with three guys all over me to suddenly being at Jakes place. So I sat back down.
“Now that’s a good girl, just take it easy.” Jake told me as he sat on the couch to my right. “I’m going to explain everything.”
“I really did go to the doctors and they gave me medecation for my…disorder, and I’m better now I really am,” he said.
“If you’re better than why…” I started to say but he cut me off.
“woman, will you let me talk?!” he said. “I was looking for you while you were on tour and for a while I was really close to catching up with you, then I lost you for a few days, but then I was right where you were, I saw you looking up at this hotel right before you went in, when I was in a taxi riding by the hotel.”
“I can’t believe you found me that easily.” I said.
“Oh believe me, it wasn’t easy trying to find you across the country. Anyway I went into the hotel and followed you. A couple minutes later I was right outside the suites door that you were staying in and heard you scream. I took out my cell and called the police.”
“Ok, so why did you come into the room and start doing what you were going to do?” I asked.
“I had to pretend I was going to do what you thought because I just knew I had to stall untill the police showed up, I couldn’t let those other men get too carried away with you.”
“So we didn’t?”
“No, Diana we didn’t.” Jake finished, “Thankfully, right when I was removing the tape over your mouth the police barged into the room. I quickly zipped my pants back up and threw a blaket over you. I told them I was the one who called and then they took Mikey and Pete.”
“Wow, that’s…this is just so much to take in.” I said as I was starting to tear up, feeling overwhelmed by all that had just happened.
Jake held my hands in his as he told me, “Everything is going to be ok now, I promise, and Diana?”
I looked into his eyes as he asked me, “Will you be my girlfriend…again?” and finished with half a smile.
Well I thought to myself this guy did save me, “yes, Jake, yes!”
Jake slowly brought his head down to mine and gave me a sweet, chaste kiss. I was happy inside, who knew Jake would be the one to finally make me feel this way. I guess everything is going to be fine as long as I make sure he takes his medecation. We hugged each other for awhile, just sitting there in his living room.
I couldn’t see him doing this, but later I’ll find that while we were hugging Jake was reaching over behind me, to a bag on the side table, to get out some ties and masking tape.
