A/N: Okay, go me for having three updates in one day! Four might be a stretch, though.
Now to introduce you to another reviewbie / friend. Cat is based from my friend Emo_Koala. And as stated before, Chris is Little_Miss_ Disaster. Ivy is (since she finally started adding her stories) Rogue_Vampyre (in case you guys were curious).
Also this chapter has IM conversations, so it might make it a bit weird. The marks "~*~" signify Becca, the others are whoever she is talking with. I hope you guys enjoy! And hope I do my reveiewbies justice! *hugs*

Rebecca flopped back on her bed, letting her arms fly out to the side. Things were going to get pretty chaotic soon enough, so she was going to enjoy the bit of peace and quiet while she had it. Hopefully she would have company soon enough. She closed her eyes lightly, popping them back open when she heard her computer ding. She looked over and smiled as she noticed a message from one of her friends. She stood and walked over, sitting down at her desk and opening the message.
--> Becca, it’s Cat. You in Chi-town? Visiting with Ry for Pete’s shindig.
~*~ Hey, Cat. Yep, at home, in fact. You want to visit?
--> Right then, should see you soon. Ry is heading over soon, so I’ll tag along.
~*~ Can’t wait! And we might have more company. Another of the girlfriends.
--> Great! Gossip on the boys. Can’t wait. Heading out now. See you soon! *kiss*
Rebecca smiled as she closed out of the window as Cat signed off. She checked her email and checked a few online assignments for school then was interrupted by the sound of the dogs beginning to bark, which meant that there was a visitor, or at the least someone had came back. She wasn’t up to going down to be bombarded by more testosterone unless it was someone that would be worth it, so she simply continued playing with the computer, laughing as another message window popped up. Although she tilted her head at the screen name.
--> Hey
~*~ Umm, hey?
--> Oops. I forgot that I’m on Mom’s computer. This is Spencer
~*~ Hey, Spence! How are you?
--> Good, as usual. Nothing too interesting. What about yourself? Anything interesting going on with your brother and his shindig?
~*~ Not really, when I escaped it was a bass players convention.
--> Sounds like fun, for them, I guess
~*~ Yeah. Sorry to cut this short, but I gtg, I’m entertaining ‘the girlfriends’.
--> Okay then. Have fun!
Rebecca closed the window just as she heard a knock on the door. She walked to the door and opened it, smiling as she recognized Mikey standing there with a girl who must be the girlfriend in question. She pulled the door open with a smile, holding her hand out in greeting to the other girl.
“You must be Chris. I’m Becca, Pete’s sister, if I must claim him. Come on in, it’s nothing fancy, just a normal college student’s room. I hope you don’t mind, but some other friends are planning on dropping by. You should like them though. They’re fellow girlfriends dropped off while the boys talk shop.”
Rebecca grinned, rewarded with a smile from the other girl. She hopped that they could at least chat together, after all, she would hate to be left in some hotel room. That would be worse than boring in her opinion. But perhaps she was just a little odd. She would probably have threatened to crash the business meeting on her own if anyone had threatened to leave her alone in some hotel room.
“Oh yes, boys must have their ‘guy time’ to talk about their manly things like business and bass parts. Such a shame we girls don’t understand such things. It makes us such a hindrance.”
“Yes, such a shame. I sometimes question why they even bother taking us along, unless to use as bragging rights. But I normally just get a different time of ignoring. I’m just the lowly baby sister. I don’t even have girlfriend rights.”
Rebecca giggled as she managed to joke with Chris. That was good, because joking was almost second nature to her. It had become a necessity growing up with Pete and Andrew for siblings. So to know that she could at least joke with Chris, that would be a great help. Before they could say much of anything else, Rebecca heard the dogs barking again.
“Ah, that’s probably Cat, Ryan’s girlfriend. ...... Funny how the tags get stuck on us, isn’t it? So-and-so’s girlfriend, or this-person’s sister. A load of shit, if you ask me.”
She walked to the door and opened it, walking to the edge of the stairs and peering down. She waved as she noticed not only Cat downstairs, but Ivy as well. So Ivy had heard about the massive collection of Pete’s friends. Oh well, another person to add to the party.
“Oy, you two! We’re up here, hiding from the bubbling mass of testosterone. Hi Ryan, you might be a little out of place at Petey’s bass players convention. They’re in the basement last I checked.”
Rebecca laughed as she waved at the shy boy, who went off towards the basement, having visited enough lately working with Pete that he knew where everything was in general. She turned and walked back into her room, smiling at Chris, who had taken up a chair near the window. She smiled as Cat and Ivy walked into the room.
“Okay, introductions for everyone! This is Cat, Ryan’s girl. Chris, Mikey’s girl. And Ivy, my best friend”
“And Pete’s girl. You didn't mention a bass player's convention, though. I might have to head downstairs.”
Rebecca laughed at Ivy’s added comments, shaking her head playfully. She gave Cat a quick hug, picking up the violet streaks in her black hair. It was different, but nice.
“Nice streaks, Cat.”
She turned back to the other girls with a smirk.
“So, what should the girlfriend convention do for fun? Any ideas?”
