Chapter 2
The next morning I woke up at about 10:30, with the smell of French toast and coffee filling my nose. I slowly crawled out of bed and trudged downstairs. When I walked into the kitchen I saw mum standing at the stove making the French toast, and Dad and Daniel sitting at the table drinking coffee and talking. This made me very angry. How could my parents be so nice to him after what he had done? It was even worse that they fed him before me! Well I was going to put a stop to this. I walked right up to Daniel and asked him what he thought he was doing. He took me to the living room, and sat me down on the couch. I was about to protest when he began to speak.
“Do you want to know why I’m here?” "Duh didn't I JUST ask you that ?" Then before I knew what hit me, he pulled me into his arms. “Sweetie, please forgive me. I am so sorry! I am the worst husband in the world to you! I feel so horrible about how I treated you. I have never felt this bad in my entire life. I hope you will forgive me and come home, because I miss you an-and I don’t know what to do without you. I’m sorry I came home drunk; and I’m sorry I came here drunk yesterday. I was so upset, but I handled it in the wrong way. I love you baby and I am so sorry.”
At that point, he started to cry. I thought it was the most sincere apology I had ever received in my life, so I took him in my arms and told him that I would forgive him. I also told him that I loved him. After we hugged and cuddled for a while he started giving me little butterfly kisses all over my face. Then he took his hands and cupped my face. He gave me the most loving and tender kiss I had ever received. I melted, and kissed back returning every ounce of his luscious kiss. When we walked back into the kitchen, my parents greeted us with huge plates of French toast and honey buns. After three slices of toast and 2 honey buns, I was ready to go home and have a nap. After I thanked my parents, and Daniel apologized for the 5th time, we gathered up my things and drove home. Dad said he would bring Dan’s car over later on.
Once home Daniel took my bags from the back seat of the car and we walked inside. He threw my bag on the couch, and led me to the bedroom. I took off my sneakers and sweatpants. After that Dan tucked me snugly under the covers. He then walked around the bed, and slid in nest to me. He put his arms around me, and I snuggled into him. He rubbed my back until I fell asleep, dreaming sweet dreams.
