They head out to the car and get on their way to the house. As they were driving they went on about the concert and how good the guys looked. Amber punched in the code to get in the neighborhood and drove on to the house. They went inside and started setting everything up when there was a knock at the door. Amber went and answered it and it was Jacobs’s parents. Jacobs mom walked in and gave Amber a hug, "Ohhhh its my other daughter" Amber hugged her back, "Hey mom" A few minutes later there was a knock at the door and the rest of the guys parents were standing at the door. They all made there way in and gathered in the living room and Amber made introductions. A few minutes later Amber saw headlights pull into the driveway, "Ok they are here everyone get down" A minute later the guys came in the house and Ashley was complaining to Jacob, "Well you could have at least told me she was leaving so I could say good bye" Just then everyone jumped up and yelled out "Happy Birthday" Jacob walks up to Ashley and puts a hand on his shoulder, "You like your surprise?" Ashley nodded and everyone made there way to their parents to say hello. Dan laughed,"Hey where’s dinner? I'm starved" Amber laughed, "Its ready now come and get it" They went into the dining room and Amber and Doris sat on either side of Jacob while Aidyn sat next to Dan. They ate their dinner and afterwards Amber went into the kitchen to clean up while everyone else went into the living room. Amber was rinsing off the dishes when Ashley’s mom walked in. "You need some help?" "Oh no thanks I got it" Ashley’s mom sat down at the table and they started talking while Amber finished cleaning up the kitchen. Once Amber finished cleaning up she and Ashley’s mom walked out to the living room where the rest of the parents were gathering their things to leave. Jacobs mom walked up to Amber and hugged her, "Nice seeing you again sweetie" "Nice seeing you too mom" Then Ashley’s mom walked up to Amber and hugged her, "Well it was nice meeting you and getting to know you" "Yeah I really enjoyed it" As all the parents walked out the door, Ashley decided to walk his mom to her car. As soon as the door shut, Erik smiled and said, "All right now we can really party" Erik went over and turned on the stereo and everyone got up and started dancing, Jacob went over to Amber and started dancing with her. Ashley and his mom got to her car. She gave him a hug and said, "I had a really great time meeting your friends, especially Amber. She’s so cute and adorable. Now that’s the kind of girl I wish you would bring home" Ashley chuckled and said, "Well maybe you’ll get your wish" He watched as his parents left and then he went in to join everyone else. Ashley went over and sat down on the couch with Erik and started talking while everyone else continued dancing. After awhile, Erik got up and said, "Man this station sucks" He went over and started flipping through the stations when Ashley said something to him. Erik stopped to respond to Ashley when Mariah Carey, 'Anytime You Need A Friend' came on. Jacob smiled at Amber, "Hey it’s our song" He looked over at Erik and said, "Hey don’t change the station. Its me and Ambers song we danced to when we went to prom together" He pulled Amber close to him and they started dancing and softly singing the song to each other. Ashley glanced over at them dancing wishing he was the one holding her in his arms. Once the song ended Jacob softly kissed her on the forehead and said, "I know this has always been our song but those words will always hold true" Amber smiled at him and said, "You’ll always be my best friend and nothing could ever change that" They continued partying late into the night until everyone started getting tired. Jacob decided to give up his room for the night so the girls could sleep in there while he crashed on the couch. Everyone went off to their room while Jacob made himself a bed on the couch. The girls went into Jacobs’s room and got into their pajamas. Amber looked at them and said, "So you enjoying yourself?" Doris laughed and said, "Well I could have had more fun if you weren’t hanging all over my man all night" "Since when is he your man?" "Since I saw his mighty pelvic thrusts at the concert tonight" They all started giggling when Amber looked at Aidyn and said, "And let me guess Dan is your man now?" "I wish" "Hey you never know" Amber laid down on the bed and Doris came over and said, "And what about you and Ashley huh? I saw the look on his face when you and Jacob were dancing" "What do you mean?" "Well he was looking pretty jealous to me" "Yeah right he doesn’t want me" "Yeah yeah yeah" said Doris as she turned off the light and they went to sleep.
