Chapter 2
Something that most people noticed about Jade was this tranquillity that surrounded him, and of course his easy carefree attitude. Something that little people know about was his perception on some subjects. And there was one in particularly that he could read like an open book: Davey.
"You know.. If you really are fine, and don't want to talk about anything.. the least you could do was put that pretty happy face of yours and enjoy yourself."
He was kind of expecting Davey to just argue with him. But the other just keep quiet looking around for sometime and finally setting his eyes on Jade.
"Sorry."
The guitarist couldn't help but sigh and continuing with his meal. After the weird atmosphere at home, Jade didn't even though two times before asking Davey to go out with him, maybe a movie and dinner.. but the almost *date* had gone to hell the minute they step outside.
"Don't know why you accept to come with me if I'm such a bad companion."
"Jade! No! It's nothing like that! It's just.. I'm kind of depressed tonight.."
"Who didn't notice, Davey?"
"Yeah.. sorry."
Jade sigh again and looked around the restaurant.
There goes the movie.. and from what I'm seeing our night out too..
He sigh again and looked down playing with his food. Right now even his appetite has gone out of the window.. The only thing that he wanted was to understand what was wrong with his friend.
And with some luck spend some more time with him.. I'm really hopeless..
"I'm really sorry Jade.. Can we go home?"
The brunette looked at Davey and finally just asked for the bill. From what he was seeing right now that really was over. After paying the two of them just walked quietly to Jade's car, Davey looking sideways to the other man. The guitarist ignored for now the looks that the other was giving him.. at least for now.
They enter the car and Jade's cell rung. He picks the phone looking at the id of the caller and with a long sigh turns it off.
"Who was it?" Asked Davey curiously.
"Hunter. Probably just to take some of our time." He smiled at Davey. "So.. really home?"
Jade watched with some fascination Davey run a hand through his hair, one thoughtful look on his face, his eyes kind of caught on the fingers that were touching the silken strands of black hair. He finally noticed that he was staring looked away.
"Home. I really want a shower and a bed right now!" He said finally cutting Davey's chance of saying anything.
I want a cold cold shower..

"So?"
"He turned out the phone.."
The blond saw Adam laughing for sometime.
"What were you thinking of saying anyway?"
Hunter just shook his head looking away.
"Ohhh? Maybe something like -Hey Jade, what do you tell me about you, me and a hot discotheque?- Huh, Hunter?" Adam continues laughing non stopping.
Hunter pouted then replacing the expressing with a smirk on his mouth.
"You know that wouldn't be such a bad idea.."
"In your dreams, Hunter. Right now Jade sure is entertained with Davey."
The blond smiled.
"That doesn't mean anything. They are just friends, right? Right! I still got a chance."
Adam groaned and looked at his friend.
"Davey is in love with Jade, and Jade is in love with Davey. Just the two of them don't really notice that. They are always mushy mushy with each others, even if they don't notice. I really don't know what you pretend to accomplish Hunter."
"Hum.. I really really fell something for him.. And if Davey is blind to what Jade fells that’s not my problem."
Hunter looked away with a sad face, playing with the pillow on his lap randomly.
"Tell me something.. if they were really into each other.. I mean.. That they are but.. If they finally confess to each other.. What are you gonna do?"
Hunter looked down thinking about that.
"Maybe that would make me give up, I know that they like each other.. but.. I.."
Adam approached and putting a hand on his chin made him looked at him directly.
"It's your call. But I'm telling you something. In the end you are the one that’s gonna be hurt. Just watch out and try not to cause too much trouble, 'kay, Hunter?"
The blond smile hesitantly and shook his head, thinking about some other things.
"I think it's too late for that, Adam."
