Kaiden was busy going over some last minute details for a wedding she had scheduled the coming weekend, when Rachel knocked on her office door. She didn’t wait to be let in; rather she quickly slipped in and shut the door behind her. “So?” Rachel asked as she sat in a chair.
“So? So what?” Kaiden asked.
“Tell me about the first appointment of the day!” Rachel practically squealed.
“Nothing to tell, Brenda set it up for me. I haven’t even opened the file yet.”
“You’re kidding right?”
“Nope, been to busy with the Pitt-Jolie wedding and this top secret one for this weekend.” Kaiden replied.
She never took her eyes off the computer screen as she typed.
“Kaiden! Your client is Kate Bosworth!” Rachel hissed.
That got Kaiden’s attention. “Who? No, no way!” Kaiden said.
She immediately started rummaging for the file Brenda had given her last night. When she found it she opened it and there in bold, black letters was “Bloom-Bosworth Wedding”. Kaiden sat there with her mouth open in shock.
Kaiden was a huge Orlando Bloom fan. She had met him once and managed a quick kiss, photo and autograph. It had been love ever since. Kaiden had even entertained thoughts of bumping into him at a local nightclub that he frequented when he was in L.A. It never occurred to her she might end up being his wedding planner.
“Kaiden what are you going to do?” Rachel asked.
“I think I’m going to be sick.”
“Well hold it, it’s almost nine and she saw you come in.”
“She’s in the waiting room?”
“Yes, has been since eight-thirty. I think she’s pretty excited to have you plan her wedding.”
“Great, just fabulous. Can my life get any worse?”
“Careful it can and it just might.” Rachel replied as she opened the door. “Shall I send her in?”
Kaiden could only nod. She couldn’t get the image of Orlando smiling at her and calling her “love” out of her head. This was going to be a bad day.

Rachel returned a mere seconds later and showed Kate into the office. Kaiden fought to keep her emotions in check. She stood and offered her hand from across the desk.
“Miss Bosworth, how nice to meet you.” She smiled.
Kate returned the smile and handshake before she sat down.
“I can’t tell you how excited I am to have you plan my wedding!” Kate said. “I’ve heard wonderful things about you.”
Kaiden only smiled as she regained her seat. She hoped that Kate didn’t notice her hands shook as she opened the file and laid it in front of her. She was usually less formal with her clients. She often sat on a couch that sat against the wall her office and discussed their plans. Today she didn’t dare leave the security of her desk, for fear her knees would buckle. She glanced over the file quickly before she answered Kate.
“Please forgive me Miss Bosworth…” She began.
“Call me Kate.”
“Kate, I’m sorry I haven’t had time to look at your plans in depth.” Kaiden said. “I was only given your file yesterday. I can assure you that I’ll do my best to make this the wedding of your dreams.”
“Great! I have so many ideas and Orlando told me whatever I wanted was fine with him!” Kate said.
She was practically bouncing in her seat. Kaiden sighed inwardly. A groom that was more or less apathetic about wedding plans wasn’t a good sign.
