About a half hour later she realized she must have dozed off, because she was opening her eyes to a hole other program that wasn’t on when she started watching.
She looked over to the closed bathroom door, he was still in there. ‘What is he up to?’ she thought.
Jera was on her way to the door of the bathroom when Gerard finally came out, closing the door behind him. “What were you…”
He cut her off by saying, “I have a surprise for you.” She didn’t like what she was hearing.
Gerard pushed the bathroom door open and to Jera’s delight and horror saw that he had drew her a bath. There were candles lit around the tub, hot, steamy water filled the bath with thick foam covering the surface, and rock music playing softly in the background.
“What, did I forget something?” he asked her because her face was unreadable.
“No…,” she said quietly. “I don’t understand how you knew all this…”
“Lets just say I have connections.” Gerard stated with a smirk that Jera didn’t see. “Well then, go on, get in there before it starts cooling off, enjoy it, I’ll see ya around!” he started to turn away.
“Wait!” Jera grabbed a hold of his leather jacket. She couldn’t believe what she was about to ask him. “would you…umm…stay here…while I take a bath?”
“You want me to stay?” Gerard couldn’t believe it, he had planned and hoped that this is what would happen, but never thought it would. “Because I will if it’s what you want.”
“It is, …not that you’re staying in the bathroom…”
“Oh no,…definitely not.” he added.
“Look, I’ve never told anyone about this before except…well that’s not important…I’m kind of afraid to take a bath because I’ve seen so many…”
Gerard cut in, “Horror movies with bathtub scenes in them.”
“Well…, yeah.” she said.
Gerard adds in, “There’s gonna be something different about this bath Jera,” she had to ask, “What?”.
“This time you’ll have me, I’ll be right outside the door if you need anything, I’ll protect you.” Gerard told her in a soothing voice.
Jera looked at the bath, it was still steaming so she pushed Gerard out of the way and shut the bathroom door. She quickly undressed and never before had she gotten naked so fast in her life.
