A Secret Revealed
Okay. I've had this written for a while and finally I have some time to type it up.
The usual blahblahblahs apply: not mine, don't own, don't know, never happened.
Moving on. Thank you guys for the reviews, you're the reason I decided to put up this next chapter.
The next morning.
Will looked up and blinked.
"Something's up with you man." Siska frowned.
"It's nothing." Will mumbled, still half asleep.
"Bullshit man, you looked stoned."
"Shut up."
A few hours later TAI... were due for sound check. Will entered stage right to find Kate messin with the cord to her guitar.
"Where'd you stay last night?" he asked, cringing when he realised how that sounded.
"With Gabe, if you must know." Kate narrowed her eyes at her amp, not looking at her fiance.
"What!" Will didn't mean to lose his temper.
"For god sake Will. You overreact over everything. Just chill." She took at step towards him. "Its not like a slept with him or anything." And before he could stop it, his hand darted out and caught her across her face.
Silence echoed loudly on the stage as shock and regret set in. Kate placed a hand gingerly on her smarting cheek. "What the fuck..." she glared at Will in disbelief and grabbed him by the front of his shirt. Will gasped as she pushed him into her band's drumkit. "Why did you do that" she tried to bury herself in William's chest after he'd extracted his limbs from the ride stand. Will moved to stroke her hair but she pushed him away and ran off stage.
