Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. I do not know Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Ville Valo, Raab, Dico, or any other celebrity mentioned. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
AN: My friend Rini and I were watching Viva la Bam and decided that we REALLY hate Raab's teeth. Really.
“Make up sex.” Lenny rolled onto her back and stretched. The sheets felt delicious against her bare back. Bam’s fingers traced circles around her belly button.
“I had no idea it could be so nice.”
“It’s always better when you’re mad at someone.” Bam chuckled. He yawned and curled up close to her.
“What am I going to do now? I sold the house. Maman’s all gone. You’re all I’ve got here.”
“That’s enough, isn’t it?” he was suddenly worried. “That’s enough for you to stay?”
“I’m here, aren’t I?” she locked her arms around his neck. “I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t enough, trust me. You ought to know by now the way I am.”
“Oh, I know, trust me. I just don’t always understand it.” He snuggled deeper into the bed with her.
“I don’t expect you to understand me.” She smiled as she let sleep over take her. It had been an exhausting week, and she was ready to be safe there in his arms.
**
“You’re back.” Raab stared at her.
“Mmmhmm,” she agreed as she tested the pancake batter with her finger. She poured a circle onto a hot griddle and started to fry them. Raab just stared at her. He wasn’t sure if he was disappointed that she was there, or happy that she was there.
Bam was much less likely to try and kill one of them when she was there. And he did value his life.
“Oh,” he sat down.
“Want some pancakes?”
“Sure,” Raab shrugged. He watched her as she got down a plate for him and flipped a few of them onto it. She presented him with butter and syrup too.
“I finally figured out what it is about you.” She said triumphantly as she turned to go and make more.
“What is what about me?” he asked through a full mouth. Dunn appeared then and made a face.
“Chew with your mouth closed. God, you could put me off food forever. Making pancakes, Len?”
“Mmmhmm, want some?” he nodded and sat down by Raab. “Anyway, it’s your teeth. Your teeth are what make me uneasy about you.”
“His teeth?” Dunn started laughing.
“Dude, have you ever seriously looked at them? He’s got like, thirty million of them. When he smiles he looks like a shark about to bite! He could bite my head off in one mouthful. It makes me very uneasy.” Lenny explained. Dunn laughed harder.
“What’s so funny?” Rake yawned as he held out his coffee cup. Lenny wordlessly filled it up.
“Oh, you’re a life saver.”
“Lenny just said that Raab looks like a shark who wants to eat her alive. Something about his teeth. I don’t know, it was just great.” Dunn giggled. Rake laughed too and sipped his drink.
Eventually Dico and Bam appeared. Bam kissed his girlfriend on the cheek before settling down to his own pancakes. Lenny said nothing as they fell into a discussion about teeth, and what’s a good tooth to face ratio.
When she had served them all, Bam pulled her into his lap. Without being told, she began to cut his pancakes and feed him. He happily ate from the proffered fork.
“So are you staying here now?” Dico asked, his
face smeared with syrup. Lenny didn’t respond, merely kept feeding her boyfriend.
“She is,” Bam answered for her, licking syrup from the corners of his lips. “She lives here with us, and she sleeps in my room.” That seemed to settle any other questions they might have.
When breakfast was over she collected their plates and piled them in the sink. Her cell phone rang, and she took the call outside.
“You’re really lucky.” Dunn said, putting his feet up on the table. Bam nodded, looking at his girlfriend, shivering outside in the early morning cool.
“I know,”
“I cannot think of one other girl who would have come back.” Rake said. Bam nodded again.
“I can’t, either.”

She was sitting in a chair when April came in from work. She took one look at the girl, curled up under a blanket with a book and grinned. As she walked over, she dropped a kiss on the top of her head.
“Have a good day at work?” Lenny asked, turning the page.
“It was okay.” April couldn’t stop smiling. She had been scared that the girl would change her mind over night or something like that. But here she was, quite comfortable.
“I went ahead and started dinner. I thought you might be kind of tired.” Lenny turned yet another page. April just beamed, not able to find anything to say in response to that.
Bam appeared shortly in the kitchen, where she was checking the baked potatoes Lenny had started. He snatched an apple from the bowl on the counter and crunched into it.
“You’re going to spoil your appetite.” April complained.
“Will not, I’m a bottomless pit.” He countered. She turned to look at her son for a few seconds.
“What?” he asked self consciously.
“Lenny is still here.”
“Not a problem, is it?”
“No. I’m just going to tell you this. I don’t know if she could stand to be hurt by you again. So you’d better make sure you do it right this time around. Not everyone gets a second chance.”
“I know that,” he sounded solemn. “Trust me, Ape, I know that. I’m not going to let it go to waste this time.”
