Andy Hurley was left in charge of Patrick, who had been exceptionally quiet. Since Pete Left.
“They’ll be home soon with Ryan, won’t that be nice Patrick?” Andy said just to break the silence.
Patrick was sitting in his corner, he couldn’t feel anything, let alone joy. He was angry with Ryan; it was his fault he had to go through what he did.
“Patrick?” Andy pressed.
“I don’t want to talk about it.” Patrick finally said.
“Why?’ Andy inquired.
“Because he got me in trouble.” Patrick finally admitted.
“I don’t believe that.”
“Yes, he did!”
“Well, when he gets here you are to be nice to him.”
“No I won’t”
Patrick was quiet again; he didn’t want to talk to Andy anymore.
Andy came up to him.
“Should I get a hold of Pete?” Andy asked him
Patrick became fearful.
“Why”? He asked trembling
“Well you are not being nice to me. You are being obstinate.”
“So?” You’re not the boss of me!! Patrick shouted.
“Okay, Patrick if that’s what you think, then so be it.
Andy walked away, and into the next room.
Patrick was pleased; He sure told Andy what he thought.
He smiled to himself. It didn’t last, when Andy came in with his cell phone on speaker mode which Patrick didn’t know.
“Patrick, You are going to be nice aren’t we?” Andy Asked.
“No, you don’t control -.”
Patrick was cut off, by a voice which made his blood run cold. It was Pete’s
“Patrick, you better not is giving Andy any shit. I left him in charge of you.” Pete’s angry tone got Patrick’s attention.
Andy, If Patrick continues, and then you are to bodily pick his goddamn ass up and put him in his cage.” Pete fumed.
Andy acknowledged his command.
“I’ll deal with you when we get home, Patrick, We need to talk.”
On that note, they could hear an angry click from Pete’s end.
Patrick sat there whimpering and he started to cry.
“I hate you!” He screamed at Andy
“Patrick, I have been very nice to you.” Andy tried to make peace
“Fuck You! Patrick screamed.
Andy sighed; He was starting to feel like he couldn’t wait for Pete to come home either.
Then again, he wasn’t worried, because he was taping everything Patrick said and did. Without him knowing about it.
Andy looked at the list from Pete.
Patrick it’s time for your bath.
“I’m not listening to you!” Patrick sang.
Andy went over and grabbed Patrick, by the arm and pulled him up.
Patrick fought him all the way.
Finally Andy had him in the bathroom, and into tub.
“I can wash myself!” Patrick informed him.
“Fine wash yourself.”
Andy sat and watched him. When His bath was over, He was put to bed.
Patrick Laid there in the dark, he was bound and determined not to be there when Pete came home, He would run away himself. HE didn’t care what Pete would do to him, when he found him. He just wanted to feel freedom.
