His head burrowed further into the hard edge of bone and soft skin and muscle of Brian’s hip. Johnny’s small body scrunched up until his knees hit the plush back of the couch. A soft sigh filled a lull in Zack and Matt’s trash talking. Both singer and guitarist turned around smiling, “Midget…Johnny.” Matt cooed. Brian rubbed the colorful skull adorning the bassist’s neck. “Leave him alone.” he whispered. Johnny mumbled and fidgeted trying to get comfortable. Sighing, Matt paused the game and got up. He stared at Johnny for a moment and rolled his shoulders, “I think he’s gotten heavier the last couple of years.”
Brian covered his mouth while he laughed, “Do you need help?” Brian moved his hand closer to the back of Johnny’s neck and kneaded the tense muscles. Matt shrugged and scooped the bassist into his arms. “Yep, definitely heavier.” he panted. Syn got up and slipped around him to the bunk area to clear off Johnny’s bunk. Matt dropped Johnny in his bunk and stepped back rubbing his arms. Johnny squirmed around until he was comfortable and then stilled again with a content sigh. Brian tossed the covers over him and brushed his hair back before checking Arin in the bunk above him. The young drummer snored softly and didn’t stir when Brian pulled the curtain back. In the back, the game resumed with a hard curse from Matt and Zack’s devilish cackle. Brian dropped the curtain and went to join them so he could heckle Matt.A/N: I don’t know what it is, but the image of Johnny sleeping reminds me of a kitten, lol.
