James: I couldn’t help but smile when Sam kissed me back. I was expecting him to punch me or something after I had kissed him the first time, but I was far from right! Sam pulled back from the kiss. “Why the fuck are you smiling? You’re spoiling the moment!” he complained. “Sorry, it’s just that I was expecting you to punch me.” Sam laughed and then kissed me again, just for a brief moment before pulling back again and sighing. “This has been one chaotic day, huh?” “How do you mean?” “Well, with Danny and Ben coming out, then us…” “Yeah, I guess it had been a chaotic day.” We sat in silence for a while, both of us deep in thought. “This, with us. I’m still a little confused about it, so… Do you mind if we take it slowly, you know, not rush into things.” Sam asked. “Yeah, sure. Does this mean that you’re wanting to keep it between us for now?” Sam sighed and rubbed his face with both hands. “I don’t know. Ben and Danny have been so open with us, and Cam just doesn’t give a shit about keeping secrets. I don’t think it’d be fair to keep it from them all.” “So, when do we tell them? Tomorrow?” I suggested. Sam nodded, then leaned in for another kiss. We kissed for a few minutes, me loving every minute of it. But, once again, it all ended too quickly because Sam pulled back, said goodnight and went to his own room. I ended up laying on the bed, staring up at the ceiling and thinking about how relieved I was that me and Sam could have what Danny and Ben have. I couldn’t wait until tomorrow to tell Ben the good news. I had a feeling that Danny might already know about this since he’d walked in on our conversation, but as far as I knew, Ben knew for certain. I felt sorry for Cam, though.
