Okay, so here's the next chapter to My Immortal, Im not sure how good it is, or where exactly this story is going. I do have an idea for the ending, but I'll hve to get there first :) Please R&R Thanks.

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

It had been an eternity since Darren left. Daniel had not moved from his spot in the corner, he found solace in it. He was tired but he didn’t want to sleep, every time he closed his eyes the nightmares would begin again. He couldn’t shut them out. He missed Darren; he wished he would come back.
Angry red scar lines glared up at him from his wrists, he was so ashamed. Suddenly a thought struck him, did Darren know? Was he angry? Was he ashamed? Oh god, what had he done? Daniel shook his head vigorously to rid himself of those thoughts, Darren didn’t know, he couldn’t know…
“I know Daniel…”
Daniel’s head snapped up, that was Darren’s voice, but where was Darren? Tears sprung anew to Daniel’s emerald eyes. He was going crazy; he could have sworn he had just heard his Darren.
“You did Daniel…” The voice inside his head spoke again, so much like Darren’s own. Daniel shook his head angrily, tears flying from his face.
“Stop crying Daniel?” He gripped at his hair painfully, trying to mahe vhe voice shut up.
“STOP IT” he screamed to no one “STOP IT! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE?” he cried, beating at the wall next to him in turmoil.
“Daniel?” The voice, but this time it was more timid, and accompanied by a tender hug. Daniel risked looking upwards and thanked God when he really saw two shining sapphires staring back at him “Danny, why were you screaming?” Darren almost sounded scared, and Daniel cursed himself. “D-do you want me to leave you alone?”
“N-no Darren! Please! Don’t go? I hate to be left alone…I hear…I hear these voices…I’m so scared Darren, I feel like I’m going insane.” Darren nodded, instantly taking Daniel into his arms; he caressed his hair lovingly, allowing Daniel to use his lap as a pillow.

*9 years earlier*

Daniel stroked his lover’s hair patiently, trying to sooth him as he sniffed back more tears. All of his worries and doubts screaming out, and Daniel powerless to stop them.
“I-I don’t know if I can do this anymore Danny…”
“What do you mean, Daz? Of course you can, you were brilliant out there. And it’s only going to get better, you’ll see.” He smiled comfortingly at Darren who shook his head.
“N-no it won’t…Y-you don’t understand. All…all those people, watching, staring, I don’t think I can handle it. They’ll find out, they’ll know, and they’ll hate or ior it” he sniffed, burying his face into Daniels lap, as if he was trying to hide from the world. Daniel bit his lip thoughtfully.
“Are you really that ashamed of us Daz?” Darren looked up startled, tears still glistening in his eyes.
“N-no! It’s nothing like that Danny, I-I love you more than anything, justjust…all those people…they’d hate us if they knew.”
“They wouldn’t. But if that’s the way you want it they never have to know. We can keep it a secret forever.” Daniel rubbed his angel’s neck soothingly, “Just please don’t quit on me Darren? You’re stronger than that. I know you are. Just hang in there with me ok?”
“O-ok…” Darren whimpered, allowing Daniel to rub his hand up and down his back lazily.
“I love you Danny.” Daniel bit his lip.
“…I love you too Dazza…try to sleep now.” He continued rubbing his lovers back until he was sure the singer was asleep. He sighed to himself, picking up Darren's frail form, car carrying him to their bedroom. It was going to be one of those nights. He kissed Darren's forehead gently, tucking his lover into bed.
Daniel, on the other hand, was restless, he paced around the room indecisively, he knew he shouldn’t, but he wanted to oh so badly…He glanced over at Darren who was snoring contently. He had decided. He grabbed his jacket off the chair it had been draped over and left Darren alone with his dreams, shutting the front door quietly as he did so.
Seconds after he left however, the sleeping figure sat up in bed, tears brimming his eyes as he stared longingly out the front door his partner had just exited. Darren knew where Daniel was heading, his lover was leaving him. Daniel may not have known it, but he was.

Darren looked down lovingly at Daniel’s now sleeping form, brushing a few stray blonde hairs out of his face. He picked up Daniels wrists tenderly, bringing the angry scars to his lips, kissing them gently.Oh DOh Daniel…” he sighed, somewhat sadly. “Don’t quit on me Daniel… You’re stronger than that…I know you are… Just hang in there…” He couldn’t resist kissing Daniel’s lips one last time. Before picking him up cautiously, so as not to wake him from his slumber, and bringing him over to the bed at the other side of the room. He laid him down carefully, pulling the sheets up over him.
Darren rested his pale hand on Daniel’s forehead affectionately.
“Just hang in there Danny…”
