Kelly was the first to awake. She saw a sleeping Carrie *so beautiful* Kelly thought. She took her free hand and moved the pieces of stray hair behind Carrie’s ear. And lightly caressed her cheek. Carrie’s eyes fluttered open and she gave a small smile.

“Morning,” Kelly whispered.

“Hi. How’d you sleep?” Carrie asked in a whisper.

“Probably the best I have in the past couple of weeks. You?”

“The best,” Carrie smiled sweetly she moved up placing a small kiss on Kelly’s lips. “What do you have to do today?”

“I have three meetings that I don’t want to go to.”

“You want me to go with you?”

“You can’t baby, I don’t want you in all of this.”

“I understand. Well then I will be here when you get back,” Carrie said Kelly smiled widely.

“I should get up and get ready,” Kelly said. She got out of bed but was forcefully pulled back up against Carrie’s body. Carrie wrapped her arms around Kelly’s waist from behind. Kelly turned so that she was facing Carrie, leaning down Carrie took Kelly’s lips with hers. Kelly’s hands tangled up in Carrie’s hair. Kelly deepened the kiss licking the Carrie’s bottom lip. Carrie granted Kelly’s tongue entrance, she massaged Carrie’s tongue with hers. She elicited a moan from Carrie, pushing her back toward the bed. The back of Carrie’s legs hit the bed and Kelly slowly laid her down. Carrie’s hands roamed under Kelly’s shirt feeling the bare skin. Kelly pulled away from the kiss. “As much as I want this to continue I don’t think we are ready for this yet. And I really have to get ready and go.”

“You’re right. I’m sorry I just got caught up in the moment,” Carrie whispered. Kelly removed herself off of Carrie. Kelly showered and dressed in professional clothes to go meet with Clive and her new manager, Narvel Blackstock, along with some others. Kelly came out of the bathroom dressed and ready.

“You look good,” Carrie stated.

“Thanks. Wish me luck.”

“Good luck,” Carrie leaned in giving her a soft kiss on the lips. “Everything will be ok. And I’ll be here when you get back.”

“Thank you baby.” The two walked downstairs hand in hand.

“I’ll see you later,” Carrie said.

“Yeah I’m sorry I have to leave you.”

“No it’s ok. You have business to attend to.”

“Thanks again baby.”

“You’re welcome sweetheart,” Carrie replied kissing Kelly lightly on the lips.

Carrie hung out around Kelly’s house for the day. She cleaned what she could, but she was getting antsy she wanted Kelly to come back so she could know what was going on. She was nervous for Kelly, but knew she would be ok. Carrie began to play Kelly’s guitar for awhile then decided to watch some TV. As it got closer to dinner time she decided she would make Kelly dinner, opening the fridge she looked to see what was in there. Finding nothing she decided to run to the grocery store. She figured pasta would be easy and Kelly liked it. She got all her ingredients to make it and went home, *home, Kelly is my home* she thought. She returned home and began making dinner. However, it didn’t turn out to be as easy as Carrie thought. Sauce had gone everywhere cause it boiled over. It was everywhere on the floor, stove, on her hands, on her face, just everywhere. She managed to clean everything up except the sauce on her before Kelly came back. Not too long after Kelly returned Carrie had put the pasta on the stove.

“Carrie?” Kelly said coming in the door.

“Kitchen!” Carrie yelled. Kelly came into the kitchen to see that she had started dinner. Carrie stood facing the stove.

“Hey, what’s all this?”

Turning around, “Dinner. I wanted to cook you dinner.” Kelly laughed.

“Awe baby thank you,” she said approaching Carrie. “Baby, you know you have sauce in your hair.”

“Oh God! I had it all over the place earlier. Actually I just got it cleaned up before you walked in.”

“You are so cute,” Kelly said giving her a kiss. “Why don’t I finish this and you can go get the sauce off of you.”

“I love you,” Carrie said.

“I love you too,” Kelly said with a smile.

“You seem happy.”

“I am you are here!” Carrie gave her a yeah right look. “Ok that’s just part of it. We got everything figured out today. My tour has been rescheduled. I have an official release date for My December. You are here and we are together.”

“Awe sweetie that’s great I’m so happy for you!” Carrie exclaimed leaning down capturing Kelly’s lips with hers. She deepened the kiss and slightly pushed Kelly so that she was up against the counter. Her tongue entering Kelly’s mouth, massaging her tongue with hers. Kelly moaned into the kiss. “Ksshhh!” The water boiled over onto the stove. The couple pulled away. “Damn.”

“Baby I got this go get a shower,” Kelly said giving Carrie a peck on the cheek. Kelly put on the pasta while Carrie took a shower. While the pasta cooked Kelly went to change her clothes. As she was changing Carrie came out of the bathroom in her towel. *Wow she gorgeous* Kelly thought looking away from Carrie.

“I forgot my clothes,” Carrie said go through her bag. “I didn’t tell you earlier but you looked beautiful in your professional clothes. Although, you always look beautiful. You look professional beautiful. If that makes sense,” Carrie rambled causing Kelly to blush. Carrie turned to look at Kelly seeing that her face turned red. “Wow I don’t think I’ve ever seen you blush that hard.” Kelly rolled her eyes, “It’s cute.”

“Yeah yeah usually you are the one blushing.”

“I know it’s a nice change,” the tow laughed. “I should finish getting dressed.”

“And I should check on the pasta.” Kelly changed into sweatpants and a t-shirt and went down stairs. Carrie had put on the same type of clothing and went downstairs. Kelly had already put the pasta and sauce on plates and set them on the table.

“Hey,” Carrie said finding Kelly looking in the fridge.

“Hey! So I think everything is out that we need,” Kelly said from the fridge. “What do you want to drink?”

“Water is fine.”

“Ok,” Kelly said pulling out two bottles of water. She turned to see Carrie, “I’m glad you are sauceless.”

Carrie laughed, “Yeah I feel better too.”

“Good well lets eat cause I’m starving and your sauce smells delicious.” The pair had small talk and sometimes it was just silent but a comfortable silence. After they finished Kelly started to do the dishes.

“Hey let me help you,” Carrie said.

“No go away you cooked I clean.”

“But I..”

“Go sit,” Kelly said Carrie didn’t put up a fight because it would have been useless. So she went into the living room and turned on the stereo. She would listen to a song for about 30 seconds then switch to another one. Kelly came into the living room. “Find anything yet?”

“No sorry I know you hate when I do this.”

“It’s ok here let me put one on,” Kelly found the song and it was a slower song one you can sway to.

“This is pretty,” Kelly nodded taking Carrie’s hands in hers.

“Dance with me?” Carrie smiled as Kelly wrapped one arm around her waist and took Carrie’s left hand with her right one. Carrie placed her free hand on Kelly’s shoulder. The two slowly swayed back and forth.

*So many nights trying to hide it

But now I stay awake just pleading for more

To think this heart was divided

I’m losing sleep cause I can’t ignore*

“I don’t think we’ve ever danced together like this before,” Carrie said softly.

“I don’t think we have just that time in Vegas,” Kelly returned just as softly. Carrie put her head on Kelly’s shoulder, moving her hand more on Kelly’s back. Kelly pulled Carrie closer to her.

Peacefully hearing the sound

Of silence around us, so glad we found us this way*

“Kelly?” Carrie whispered

“Hmm?”

“I’m sorry.”

“For what?”

“The time when I tried to kiss you and then the next morning I ran back to Tony.”

“Don’t worry about it,” Kelly said. “I’m sorry too Carrie.”

“For what?”

“Letting you go, sleeping with Graham, not letting you in,” tears began falling from Kelly’s eyes. “For hurting you.” Carrie pulled away looking at Kelly. Carrie moved her hand from Kelly’s back to cup her cheek, wiping away the tears.

“It’s ok baby,” Carrie whispered pressing her forehead against Kelly’s

“How can it be ok? Why don’t you hate me?”

“I just can’t. I love you,” Carrie said pulling Kelly closer to her. They began swaying to the music again.

“Why?” Kelly asked softly. “Why do you love me?”

Carrie was taken back by the question but took two seconds to answer, “Because you make the emptiness in my heart disappear. When you smile it starts in your eyes. You have the biggest heart. You are willing to drop everything and run to a friend that needs your help,” Carrie paused then put her forehead against Kelly’s again as a couple of tears fell, she continued, “and I just love you for everything you are.” Kelly leaned up and captured Carrie’s lips with hers. The kiss was slow and gentle. Carrie opened her mouth to allow Kelly’s tongue in. Their tongues danced together. Kelly put every emotion she had for Carrie into that kiss. “Mmmm,” Carrie moaned into the kiss.

“I,” *kiss* “Love” *kiss* “You” *kiss* Kelly whispered Carrie smiled into the kiss. Kelly pulled away and twirled Carrie. She brought her back in and held her tightly. The two girls both had big smiles on their faces as the continued dancing.

*I want to be where you are

I leave a note on your car

When I can’t find the right words to say*

Carrie pulled Kelly into her almost like fearing that if she let go Kelly would be gone. Kelly placed her ear against Carrie chest. Hearing her heart beat. As she stayed there the heart beat got a little faster. Kelly smiled at this. Kelly leaned up and slowly began the center of Carrie’s neck. Carrie tilted her head back giving Kelly more access. Her lips slowly moved up toward Carrie’s lips. Their lips connected and now they were dancing together.

*Hearing your voice all around

The last place we’re going is down

I’ll blindly follow knowing you’re leading the way

Kelly began moving Carrie backward toward the couch their lips still connected. The back of her knees hit the couch. Carrie laid down bringing Kelly softly on top of her. Carrie’s hands tangled in Kelly’s hair as she deepened the kiss. Kelly’s hands slipped under Carrie’s shirt. Feeling the silky smooth skin, Kelly moaned into the kiss. Carrie did the same feeling Kelly’s hands underneath her shirt.

“Oh god,” Carrie whispered breaking the kiss for 2 seconds then reconnected them.

*With you in time

There’s nothing else

My life stands still

You are the will that makes me strong

Make me strong

If ever alone in this world I know I’ll always*

Kelly kept moving her hands upward. Carrie sat up just enough so that Kelly could remove her top. Kelly pulled away. Looking directly in Carrie’s eyes, “I love you so much,” Kelly whispered.

“I love you too baby,” Carrie replied, “So much.” Their lips connected once again.

Kelly broke the kiss. Staring at Carrie, “What’s wrong?” Carrie asked.

“You’re beautiful,” Kelly said Carrie began blushing. “God I have missed that so much.”

“What?”

“Your blush,” Carrie gave a small laugh. “Carrie,” Kelly said very seriously.

“What is it baby?” Carrie said concerned pushing strands of Kelly’s hair behind her ear.

“I’m not ready to do this yet. I thought I was and I’m sorry,” Kelly said slowly removing herself off of Carrie. Carrie stopped her and pulled her back down on top of her. Caressing her cheek she leaned in and captured Kelly’s lips.

Carrie broke the kiss, “I love you,” Carrie said kissing Kelly’s forehead. She reached around trying to find her top. Finding it and putting it back on she laid back down, Kelly atop her. She softly caressed up and down Kelly’s back. Kelly fell asleep listening to Carrie’s heart and breathing. Carrie gave Kelly a soft kiss on her forehead before falling asleep herself.
