Chapter Twenty-two ~ Escapade
~*~*~*~
Colleen and Nadine watched me disgustingly as I finished my last bite of my medium-rare steak, dipping it the last of the A1 sauce. I then downed the rest of my pop, I looked over at Nadine’s plate seeing that she hadn’t finished the last half of her huge burger.
“Are you going to finish that?” I asked, looking at Nadine who shook her head. I grabbed the half-eaten burger off her plate and took a huge bite of it. I moaned, my mouth full of the juicy, savory meat. “Did you want more pop?” Michael asked, looking disgusted as well. I nodded, not being able to talk through the mouthful of burger I was chewing. Michael ordered another pitcher of pop. I continued demolishing the burger. “Are you full yet?” Colleen asked, her eyes scanning over me. I shook my head. “Where do you put it all Crys?” Nadine said, appalled. I shrugged, swallowing my bite. “Don’t ask me.” I said simply, taking another bite of the burger. “Let the girl eat, she’s probably starving.” Michael said, looking at me and winking. I smiled, as the waitress came to our table and put a pitcher of Pepsi on the table. I grabbed it and poured myself another glassful, downing about half my glass once the glass was full. I demolished Nadine’s burger then looked around to see Colleen and Michael had finished their plates. “Are you still hungry?” I nodded. “Is everyone ready for dessert?” Michael asked, looking at all of us. We all nodded. I ordered an hot fudge sundae with five large scoops of ice cream and all the fixings. Nadine shook her head at me. “You’re going to gain weight if you keep eating like this.” Nadine said, shaking her head. I stuck my tongue out at her. “I need the extra weight, I’m skinny enough as it is. Besides I can’t help it if I have a fast metabolism.” I said, downing the rest of my pop. I poured myself another glass and continued guzzling. “God, why is my throat so damn dry? It feels like someone shoved cotton balls down my throat.” I said, putting my pop down. “Demerol does that to you.” Michael said, simply, running a hand through his hair. I nodded. “I see.” I said, as I picked my pop up again and guzzling it down again. “Will it go away?” Michael nodded. “Yeah, eventually.” Michael said, leaning forward, and resting his chin on his hand. Michael looked on dreamily as I sipped on my pop. The waitress brought our desserts and I immediately plowed into mine the moment she set it down. Later on in the day, Michael dropped Nadine off at her house. Michael promised her that she would see me again before I left for Sweden, seeming content she bid her farewells and walked inside her house. Michael drove Colleen home, by this time, it was getting dark. “Colleen, you can take the next couple of days off if you’d like. This probably wasn’t easy for you.” Michael said rolling his window down. Colleen turned around and rested her elbows on the door. “Are you kidding? And miss Crystal taking off to Sweden? I don’t think so. You know, you aren’t the only one whose grown fond of her.” Colleen said, her gaze switching to me. A smile curled on my lips. “Really?” “You’re a cool person to be around,” Colleen said, a smile appearing on her lips. “Thanks,” I said, as I looked down then back up at her. “Well, I’ll see you tomorrow Michael.” “Looking forward to it.” Michael said, flashing her his infamous smile. She tapped the side of the car as Michael rolled up his window. We started on our way back to Michael’s house. But we had driven right past his house. I gave him a look of confusion. “Have you seen much of Ireland?” Michael asked, as he made a left hand turn. “No, just around Dublin.” “How about we go on a little getaway.” Michael said, his eyes meeting mine. “What? But your album, don’t you have to work on it?” “I’ve got all winter to work on it. You’re leaving Wednesday, and I want to make the most of our time together.” Michael said, looking at me. “You aren’t getting out of it Crys,” I smiled. I always like it for a man to be in control. It was a definite turn on. “Oh, okay.” I said, sitting back in my seat and relaxing. Michael kept looking at me through the corner of his eye as we got on the major freeway. I noticed this and I looked at him. “What’s up?” I asked, raising an eyebrow at him. He cocked an eyebrow, innocently. “What do you mean?” “Why do you keeping looking at me like you can’t keep your eyes off of me?” I asked, my eyes meeting his. “I’m looking at the snow against your skin tone, white is a pretty color against your skin.” Michael commented. I smiled. “Thank you, I always thought you looked great in white too.” “Really?” “Yeah, and silver. Silver is a great color for you too.” “Thanks,” Michael said looking at me. “Yeah,” I said, as I looked out my window again. Somehow I managed to fall asleep in the car, blaming the Demerol for my sudden drowsiness. I was woken up by the car slowing down as Michael pulled into a convenience about a couple of hours later. The bright lights making it difficult to open my eyes. Michael shut the engine off and got out of the car, then walked inside. I shifted in my seat, letting out a breath. I then decided to get out and stretch my legs. Once I stepped out of the car, a group of men on the other end of the parking lot began shouting catcalls at me. I rolled my eyes, glancing over at them as I did so. I walked inside and found Michael looking through tourist maps. I wrapped my arms around his waist. “Sleeping beauty has risen.” Michael teased playfully. Turning around to face me. I smiled. “I have.” I said, licking my lips. “Did you need anything?” “Yeah,” I said looking at Michael. “Have you found a place to stay?” “Have you ever stayed in a castle?” Michael asked, his eyes meeting mine. “No.” “Good, neither have I.” “How far is it from here?” “Not far, maybe another half hour or so.” Michael said, with the map still in hand. I nodded. “Sounds great.” “Good, grab anything you need, I’ll meet you out in the car.” “Sounds great.” I said, running a hand through my hair. I grabbed tampons, Advil, a spare toothbrush, four bottles of water and a pack of mint gum. I checked out then headed for the little girls room. The toilet was disgusting, you couldn’t even sit on it, so I squatted over it and relieved myself. I put a tampon in and exited to stall and washed my hands then I walked out of the bathroom when the men who were had howled and hooted at me spotted me. They came over to me and blocked my exit. “Hey cutie, looking pretty delicious tonight…” “Yeah, look at that ass…” “Mmm…I may not be able to control myself…” One of them said, as I felt his hand squeeze my ass. I shoved him away. “Get the fuck away from me sleaze ball! I’m way out of your league…” “Ooh, feisty…” Another one said, licking his lips. “Keep fightin’ darling, I like it when they fight…” My fist came up and landed squarely with his jaw. I heard a snapping crack and the guy went crashing to the ground. That gave me enough time to get out of the store and race to Michael’s car. “Michael! Lets go! I’ve got creeps--” Suddenly Michael got out of the car with a steel baseball bat in his hand. I stopped in my tracks. He ushered me into the car as the four creeps who were chasing me stopped. “Hey dude, sorry…we didn’t know she was your girl.” “Sure. I would suggest you leave before this gets ugly.” “Sure thing,” One of the guys said, as they headed back to their truck. Michael climbed into the car and put the bat in the backseat. I gave Michael a kiss. “Thank you.” “Anytime, now, did you want to stay in a castle tonight?” “Yeah.” I said letting out a small yawn. Further down the road, Michael pulled in at a lookout spot. Michael got out and got me out of the car. We walked to the stone wall and I was breathless at the sight. The full moon was reflected upon the surging ocean and upon the snow-laden rugged cliff. I looked straight down and we had to be at least 200 feet above the water surface. I looked out. “It’s so…” “Beautiful?” “Yes. I love moonlit nights, they are so breathtaking.” “And romantic.” Michael added, I looked up at him, cuddling into him for warmth. “You look amazing in the moonlight.” Michael whispered, his hand stroking my hair. “With the snow and the moonlight, you look surreal, like a goddess.” “That’s a new one on me.” I said, pulling away to look at him. The snow falling was catching on our coats, getting in our hair, chilling us to the bone, but none of that mattered at this moment. I looked at Michael’s face in the moonlight and it looked like it was chiseled out of the finest marble. Absolutely breathtaking. “You are beautiful, you are the picturesque of perfect.” I said, my eyes meeting his. Such fire in them. So much life, and love. Michael shivered. His lips met mine, his arm wrapped around my waist and brought my body close to his. I could’ve sworn my body temperature rose a couple of degrees. I kissed him with everything I had. I found myself pulling him against me so that our bodies molded into one another. Michael pulled away. “What was that?” Michael asked, breathlessly. “Me kissing you…” “No I mean…” He shivered again. “I’ll explain to you later. I’m freezing.” Michael said, as he took my hand in mine and led me to the car. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
