Chapter 24
“So Billie Who is your Lady friend?” Nerissa Asked
Billie Smiled “ This is Liz…..My Wife” she said loud and Clearly so Kelsey could hear him.
“Dude I have told you a million times your face and ass are hott but damn are u tiny, yes that’s right I have seen ur ass naked” Kelsey Replied.
Billie Blushed hard.
Liz Laughed.
Nerissa Rolled her eyes.
“so my little Rissa is growing up before my eyes” Billie said hugging her tightly.
“can’t…breathe……” she choked out then he loosened his grasp
“ So when do we get to starts planning?” Her mom asked
Nerissa looked down and grabbed the Mic
“Everyone I have an announcement” she said
Everyone turned their attention to Nerissa and got quiet
“ I know I said I would marry Gerard, but I;m not sure if he is going to want to marry me after this.” She said sadly while looking at him.
“I’m.. I’ve Been Accepted to Harvard University.” She said.
Her mother Screamed and clapped happily.
Gerard Smiled and hugged her.
“we’ll go there together I mean I have not been accepted there but we can still live there. Actually I have been accepted to an Art school on the border of CT and NY. There is like a 5 min drive from my school to Harvard.”
Nerissa Squealed.
‘finally things are working in my favor’ she thought to herself.
Little did she know she was very wrong.
~~~~~~~~~~3 days later~~~~~~~~~~~~
“hello this is this Nerissa Johnson?” the man asked
“yes this is she”
“ this is the local Hospital we are calling to Inform you that your mother has been involved in Terrible Car accident. We don’t think she is going to make it. Do you think you could get down her quickly”
“yes…yes I’ll be right there” she said quickly
Nerissa hung up and started Gasping for Air.
Billie, Kelsey, Gerard, Frank, David, Pierre and Mikey were by her side in a second.
“sweetie what’s wrong” Billie asked holding her up.
“Mom….car….accident….not…gonna…..need…to…go….now…..” she fumbled out
“alright grabs the keys and shit we’ll take the van.” Kelsey said supporting Nerissa
~~~~~~~~~~~At the hospital~~~~~~~~~~
“K..Kirsten Johnson” Nerissa said to the receptionist.
“Miss Johnson?”
she turned around and saw her mother being wheeled down the hall. She ran up to the bed and started crying.
Her mother didn’t look like her mother.
Her face was bloody, she had huge gashes everywhere and she was a mess.
They went through Double doors and Nerissa went to follow, the Doctor held her back.
“Miss Johnson you have to stay here, she is going into surgery. I can’t say if she is going to make it there was severe head Trauma, if she does make it she will be paralyzed.”
Nerissa nodded and said “ that is fine just please save my mother she is all I have left.” She said crying.
Kelsey walked up and wrapped an arm around her as the Doctor walked back in to surgery.
Nerissa Flung, herself into Mikey’s arms and cried.
Since the time she had moved her he had very much come to be her shoulder to cry on.
He hugged her close and leaned his chin down on her shoulder.
Gerard Watched as his Fiancée relive one of the worst moments of her life as all the things she built herself back up to be, came tumbling back down.
