Chapter 25 : Fake Wedding Bells and the True Bitch from Hell
A Few months passed and it was the day Kane was going to marry me. Glenn had talked me out of being pissed off, joking that this was the bad rehearsal for the real thing.
That morning a Limo showed up, with Linda Jess, Terri, Amy and Sara inside. The WWE was paying for everything as the footage would be shown tomorrow on the No Mercy PPV. Jess, Amy and Terri would be my Bridesmaids, Sara being Matron of honor. This was chosen by the writers, three of them picked as ‘family’. Terri was for show, she knew and accepted it. While we were friends we weren’t close enough I’d make her part of my wedding party. And we got the whole beauty thing done on Vince’s dime. It was a complete repeat of Jess and Amy’s wedding day.
I went to the alter after sunset that night. I had to admit it was set up beautifully. It was on a completely dark private beach, with a bonfire and enough candles surrounding us to give a soft glow to the whole set up. There were masses of dark red roses everywhere around us, making the air around us so perfumed I almost sneezed a few times. Terri, Jess, Amy and Sara were at the front with Kane. He stood there in a black tuxedo and red vest, waiting. Near him was Mark, standing as his best man. Next was Rob, then Matt and Jeff. All of them were wearing tuxes matching Glenn’s but with black vests instead of red. There were no guests, just the people standing up with us. There was a bonfire behind the preacher who was a friend of Vince’s playing a part. Glenn had insisted that there was no real minister. Something about its not time for us yet.
I did get Vince to let me have my Dad walk me down the aisle. “Everyone knows he exists. Let me at least have my dad walk me down.” So he gave in, flying Dad in and letting him stand with the other men.
I walked down the aisle, barefoot, Dad giving me a kiss as he looked up to Kane and smiled. “Son. Welcome to our family. You take care of my little girl.” Kane nodded and took my hand. He smiled at me, turning to the man in front of us as he started the ceremony.
We had rehearsed our lines, knew everything we were supposed to say. About five minutes into the ceremony we got to the vows. I said mine first, speaking the words I was supposed to. The ‘minister’ turned to Glenn, who didn’t say what he was scripted to. It was better, he spoke from his heart.
“I want to tell you some of the reasons I love you. I love you because you are gentle. In my world, full of violence and hate, you dare to love me and are where I can go for tenderness. I love you because you can overlook all the negative within me and find the positive no matter what. I love you because you are loyal and I can trust you with my heart and mind. I love you because you believe in me and want me to be everything I can be. I love you because you accept me, as myself and not as someone whom the world is against. I love you and will try in every way possible to make you as happy as you have made me, my Sunshine.”
He looked down at me as the tears fell from my eyes. He wiped them away with his hand as the minister went on and finished the ceremony.
“I now pronounce Mr. and Mrs. Kane…Um… Kane and Faith, a married couple. Kane. You may kiss your bride.”
He reached down and picked me up so my feet were dangling as he kissed me. It was soft and tender and passionate. He meant that kiss. He had never kissed me quite like that before. He put me down, pulling away as we walked out of sight from the camera. I could hear the guy yell cut as Glenn and I got back in the Limo and it took off. We would be back to the beach in five minutes.
Glenn pulled me to him as he kissed me and ran his hand down my body. “You were beautiful tonight. You are always so beautiful.” I kissed him, running my hand inside his jacket, promising to let him practice for his wedding night later on.
We pulled back up at the beach, the rest of them looking at a monitor as the film crews edited. They had gotten to the part where Glenn had said the vows and Vince slapped him on the back.
“I like those better than the ones the writers gave you. Nice Job.” He smiled at us and I begged Linda to let me change. She said it would be alright and I went and got out of the dress in another production truck. I came back out in a sweater and jeans as the guys went to get out of their tuxedos. The came back as the girls went to change. Glenn wrapped his hands around my waist and the guys all just grinned at me. I looked at Glenn who fumbled for a second, then saying he had told them he was getting some tonight.
We left, headed home for a week. We would be back at the RAW a week after No Mercy, the PPV where our ‘wedding’ was going to be shown on TV. We would watch it from our house, where we would be getting ready. In three weeks, Kane would go against Faith. We had to figure out exactly what we were going to do. It wouldn’t be a shoot fight, and the fans would know we weren’t really fighting, we would tell them we just wanted to. It would be fun!
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
We had been home for a few days and I was home alone as Glenn had gone to the store, when his Mom and Dad came over. They had seen the wedding and Catherine said it was absolutely beautiful. They smiled to each other as they sat down. I started making lunch as we all talked.
They were here to plan out for Christmas. We were all planning to spend the holiday here. And when I say all of us I mean pretty much all of us. Jeff and Matt were bringing the kids and the girls, Mark and Sara were going to bring Marcus up and stay with us for a few days and I had already gotten Dad’s ticket so he could head up and stay for part of our vacation.
Jillian was not coming. She and Dad had broken up after it came out that she didn’t like his kids, especially Jeff and I. She and Dad had had an argument, she said something about ‘those abnormal kids, particularly that girl of yours and the boy with the painted nails’. It didn’t take long before Matt and Jeff had moved all of her stuff out of Dad’s and into Gypsy’s corral. I was told of this a few weeks ago and didn’t cry for her one bit. Poor Gypsy had to be subjected to looking at her junk though.
I heard the front door open and thought it was Glenn as I went to welcome him home and help him with the groceries. Instead there was a Blonde woman, maybe 35, standing in the middle of the front room. She wasn’t quite as tall as I was, maybe 5’4 or so. She had a sour look on her face as she looked in my direction. Her eyes flashed as she pushed past me. I asked her if I could help her and she just kept walking into the kitchen. I followed her as I heard David stand up and start shouting at her.
“Get the hell out of my son’s house!”
“Oh shut up old man. Where is the big moron?”
I stood behind her, towering over her almost six inches. “He is not here. Who the hell are you to walk into our house?”
She looked me up and down, sizing me up. She backed up a little, putting her hands on her hips. She sneered at my hair, the blue and purple streaks falling by my face. She watched my eyes to see what I would do.
“So you’re the new fuck buddy huh? What are you eighteen? Glenn goes for them young ones now huh?”
She turned, figuring I wouldn’t do anything and took a seat at the table as David moved Catherine away. He told his wife to go upstairs and wait in our bedroom and looked at me pointing to the cell phone on the counter.
“Call Glenn then call the police.”
“What?”
He bellowed over his shoulder for me to do it now. I jumped, grabbing my cell phone and moving to the front room to make the call. I dialed Glenn’s cell number and he answered, apparently in the car.
“Yeah, Faith? I’m almost home honey, what do you need?”
“Glenn…” I knew he could tell by the tone of my voice I was scared.
“What’s wrong? Faith?”
“There’s some blonde chick here, Your dad sent your mom upstairs.”
“Blonde?”
“Yeah, a short blonde chick, called me your fuck buddy.”
I heard his breath catch as he bellowed over the line. “Stay the hell away from her. Call the police and tell them there is a woman in the house who I have a restraining order against. If she comes after you or Dad, do whatever you have to. I will be there in a minute.”
He hung up and I called the police. I gave them the address and told them what Glenn had told me to. The dispatcher said a unit was on the way and asked me if she was armed. I said I didn’t know but that she was in our kitchen with his dad and there was a good selection of knives in there. “and there’s a shotgun over the door.”
I hung up the phone as Glenn came in the house and asked me where she was. I pointed to the kitchen and told him his dad was in there. He walked in, and I heard a chair falling to the ground. I followed just in case something happened to either Glenn or David.
Glenn was standing about 10 feet from the woman, David next to him. I couldn’t see his face, but I could tell he was furious. The woman just sat in her chair, calmly looking at the both of them. She saw me behind them and grinned wickedly.
“Look asshole. Your little whore came to help you out.”
Glenn didn’t turn to look as he spoke. “You leave Faith out of this. Get the hell out of our house, Myra.”
I gaped at Glenn and his dad. Myra. “Your Ex-wife?”
Neither Glenn or Myra acknowledged me as they stared each other down. Finally she spoke, addressing me instead of Glenn.
“So honey, how good is he? Begging you to have a baby for him yet? God, it’s all I heard for three damn years! I admit he’s got the equipment, but who would want to have a baby for this jerk.”
My temper got the better of me as I spoke up, Glenn pulling me back so I wouldn’t hit her like I had hit Jerry. “I would. I want to have his children.”
I saw David’s mouth open slightly as though he was surprised. Myra stood in front of Glenn and I, eyes squinted and a cruel look in her eyes. “You are such a gullible bitch. He only wants his precious baby. That’s all he wants you for. That’s all he wanted after I married him. It was a damn relief the day I left him and got a divorce. Faith huh? Got a girl you’ll be sure will be true and shit only for you this time, huh, asshole?”
“You have no idea how I feel about her Myra. That’s not all I want her for.” He growled as he held me back.
I snapped, moving to attack her. “You lying, cheating, no good wench!” I leaned forward again as Glenn pulled me back by my shoulders. “Look bitch…”
“Fay! She’s not worth it! Stop!” He pulled me around and sat me down as we heard a couple officers come in the kitchen from the front door. They looked in to see me being held by Glenn and Myra still staring calmly at the wall.
“Officers. This woman is trespassing and in violation of an ex parte.” David pointed to Myra as I tried to calm down.
The female officer asked who the order was in effect for. David pointed to his son, who was still holding me in a chair. The second officer turned to Myra and asked her to come with him. She did, surprisingly willingly. She was led out by the arm, throwing a glance at Glenn as he held me on the barstool I was sitting on.
“Hope you like being lonely with him traveling honey. He’ll leave your ass home any chance he can get…”
The lady cop took the report for trespassing from David and I as Glenn brought out the ex parte order from the den and led his mother down from our room. Glenn and I watched the officers leave with Myra in the back of the cruiser, dispatching a tow service to come get her car.
Glenn and I walked into the house, checking on his parents. They said they were fine, but were gonna head home. Catherine wasn’t feeling to well now after the whole episode and wanted to go home to rest. Glenn said that was fine and they were welcome to come over some other time for dinner. We walked them out, Glenn reminding them to make sure all their windows and doors were locked the next few weeks.
We went back in the house. I started cleaning up what was left of the burned food and putting the groceries Glenn had brought home away, attempting to head back to some semblance of normalcy. He came up and held me around the shoulders, sighing into my ear.
“I never wanted you to have to meet her.”
“Better I did.”
He turned me around and stared into my eyes. His eyes spoke volumes, thinking I thought everything she said was true. I wrapped my arms under his shoulders and pulled him to me. I rubbed my face in his shirt and spoke.
“Glenn, I know damn well she was lying and I knew already about you wanting a baby. I already promised you we would have one. I know what’s true and isn’t. What’s true is I love you, one day I’ll marry you and give you a child. I don’t care what she says. I love you more than anything in my life and nothing that bitch from hell could say or do would stop me from loving you any less.” I looked up at him, putting my chin next to his heart as I did. “We got though the Stephanie Episode, and if we can get though that was can get through one day of Myra and her bullshit.”
He kissed the top of my head and thanked me for loving him. He pulled away from me and held me at arms length. He looked me dead in the eye as he did and spoke, his tone completely serious. “I don’t want her in this house. From now on, if I am not here, keep the door locked. The dogs probably wont go after her because they know her, so keep the door locked and do not hesitate to call the police. She’s vindictive and I don’t want you hurt if she decides to do something stupid.”
I nodded and we both finished cleaning up. He couldn’t stand to stay in the house after what happened and took me out to dinner, trying to forget the whole episode and hoping to hell that was the last time we would hear from Myra.
