Narrator’s POV.

Frank heard the cry and ran towards the stairs before Donna could stop him. He heard the anger in Gerard’s voice and he knew something was wrong. Donna decided to stay downstairs, she decided to let Frank deal with it. She knew that if she was needed he would call for her.

Frank took the steps two at a time to reach the top faster. He barged through Gerard’s door and he was met with a complete disaster. All over the room there were pieces of paper and pieces of fabric, and Gerard was sitting in the middle of the mess. Hitting himself over the head, with blood covering his face and his clothes.

“Gerard calm down, please.” Frank pleaded as he ran towards his frantic boyfriend and grabbed his hands to stop him form hurting himself more. “Please, please don’t hurt yourself, I can’t stand you being in pain.” Frank said, but Gerard didn’t stop.

He continued crying and he pushed Frank off with all the power he had. Frank toppled over and fell on his face next to Gerard, but Gerard didn’t even notice. Gerard didn’t even realise that Frank was there.

“I don’t want to be a child, Frank can’t love me if I’m a child!” Gerard cried, gasping for breath between each word. He had started pulling at his hair violently. Frank got up from the floor and grabbed Gerard again. Something that resulted in the two boys wrestling with each other violently on the floor.

Donna had heard Gerard’s cry, she knew something was going on, she knew something was wrong, but she didn’t go into Gerard’s room. She grabbed Mikey when he attempted to run to Frank’s aid, and shook her head.

“Mikey, we both know that if they stay together one day they’ll probably live together, and Frank needs to learn. He needs to learn how to handle Gerard when he gets angry. If Frank calls for help, we’ll go, but not until then.” She said, and Mikey nodded, he understood exactly what she meant. If they helped Frank every time Gerard snapped, he’d never be able to handle it if they were away, or if they lived together.

Finally, after getting nicked by the scissors, Frank managed to wrestle Gerard down on the floor. Both boys panted violently, and Gerard had to fight for breathe as he was still crying heavily. Frank pinned Gerard’s arms down over his head so that he couldn’t hurt himself anymore, and he sat on top of him, straddling his waist. He managed to get a good look on the wound on Gerard’s hand, but he noticed it had almost stopped bleeding, as it was much smaller then he originally thought.

“Gerard, calm down.” Frank hushed Gerard again as he leaned down to kiss the crying boys cheek softly. And Gerard tried, he tried really hard. Finally he had realised it was Frank who was with him. It was Frank who had been trying to calm him down. It was Frank he had been fighting.

“I’m so sorry, please, I’m sorry, sorry.” Gerard sobbed, but Frank just continued hushing him.

“Can I release your hands, do you promise not to hurt yourself?” Frank asked, loosing his grip a little. Gerard nodded so Frank let go, and Gerard placed his hands on Frank’s hips. Frank grabbed one of the pieces of fabric, sucked on it for a second them wiped Gerard‘s palm to get rid of the blood. He then sucked on another piece of fabric and used that to wipe the spot of blood that had ended up on Gerard‘s cheek. “Tell me why you’re angry, please.” Frank pleaded.

“I’m a child Frank, but I can’t be, because you don’t want a child, you want a man.” Gerard replied honestly, not daring to meet Frank’s gaze. He was ashamed, because how he had just acted showed even more how childish he was. He knew he had ruined everything, and that thought was enough to make him cry harder.

“Hey, Gerard, I’m eighteen and I drink from your aquarium. How much of an adult do you think I am?” Frank whispered as he wiped the tears from Gerard’s eyes. He let a little smile dance on his lips, but it didn’t reach his eyes. Gerard frowned, and shook his head.

“You don’t, you’re a man.” He insisted, his tears finally subsiding.

“I’m a boy. I eat skittles for breakfast, I drink from your aquarium, I have water fights, I play videogames, I watch cartoons and I play with the rubber ducks that change colour in hot water every time I take a bath in your bathtub. Gerard, trust me, I’m still very much a child.” Frank explained and this time he couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear as he counted up the several silly things he did. It was all true. Frank did drink from the Way’s aquarium - twice, on a dare, but still. He also loved playing with the small rubber ducks that change colour when you put them in hot water. Frank was a child in many ways.

Finally a grin broke out on Gerard’s own face as he realised what Frank said was true. Frank was a child.

“You play with rubber ducks.” Gerard giggled and Frank pouted a little.

“But you like it.” He claimed and bent down to kiss Gerard’s cheek again.

Suddenly Frank noticed that he was still straddling Gerard, and his face got red. Gerard who didn’t understand why his boyfriend again changed colour frowned a little. But Frank didn’t let Gerard get upset, instead he bent down to place a soft kiss on his boyfriend’s lips.

After making out for a few minutes Frank could feel the effect he was having on Gerard poking him. He pulled away from the kiss for a few minutes, before giving Gerard a smirk.

“How would you like to receive your first blow job?”

Frank wasn’t experienced when it came to giving blow jobs, as he had only given out a few, while being drunk, but Gerard never would’ve guessed. Again Gerard saw fireworks as he came, but this time he didn’t cry. Instead he just panted loudly as Frank spit out what was in his mouth in a napkin that he threw in the trash after.

“Do you want me to…?” Gerard questioned when Frank had crawled up to lie next to him after putting Gerard’s pants back on. Frank shook his head and kissed Gerard’s nose.

“No, I’m fine just lying next to you.” Frank assured Gerard. He knew that Cameron had forced Gerard to suck him off, so Frank knew it was something that Gerard wasn’t ready for yet. That could wait. “But, I’d like us to not go downstairs, because I really don’t want your mother to continue talking to me about our sex lives.” Frank groaned and Gerard giggled.

“They probably heard me, I wasn’t quiet, I’ve never sounded like that before you know.” Gerard stated and Frank frowned when he realised it was probably true. Now it would be even more awkward to talk to Donna.

“We’re staying up here forever!” Frank decided and Gerard giggled again. Frank loved the sound of Gerard giggling.

“So, we’re assuming they’re fine?” Mikey asked after removing the hands from his ears.
“Yeah, yes, I’d say so.” Donna stuttered, her cheeks red.
