Over the next three months Louisa hardly saw Josh because of his performing and recital schedule. He travelled to Italy, Germany and Spain and did a short tour of Asia. It was now the end of July and Louisa was waiting in the public international arrivals lounge of J.F.K airport for Josh to arrive home from Japan. His flight had landed some fifteen minutes earlier and Louisa was guessing he was currently going through customs and Immigration.

‘I think the boys would debate that’ Louisa said with a giggle ‘I saw them yesterday when I went to Maria and Angelo's for Josef's violin lesson and they want me to tell you they miss you and love you and want to see you as soon as possible. I told them if you were up to it we’d go see them a couple of days after you returned home’

Josh smiled and kissed her again.
‘Let’s see them tomorrow’ he said ‘but first I want to have a hot shower and fully re-acquainted myself with you’

Louisa giggled.
‘Define getting re-acquainted’ she said kissing him languidly.

‘I think it would be better if you showed me rather than told me’ Louisa went on with a grin combing his hair with her fingers ‘but let's at least get in the car first. If we started here we'd be arrested and I'd rather be in my own space than a jail cell'

‘HA! ME pester YOU?’ Louisa exclaimed with a snort ‘Pot kettle black J-Bell You were the one that initiated everything last night gorgeous man. In fact I believe I was the one that spent the whole night on my back with my legs in the air’

‘You’ll spend the whole day like that too’ Josh said with a grin and a wink ‘I have a lot of energy stored up you know’

Louisa just rolled her eyes

Half an hour later Josh and Louisa sat down at the table to an enormous pile of blueberry pancakes and chocolate sauce. Josh was reading the sport section lift out of the post and Louisa was reading the pain part when an ad caught her eye.

‘Oooh I might try this’ she said ‘listen to this. Guinness World Records the T.V show are looking for people to audition for the show’ she said 'If you think you can break or set a record let us know!’ and they’ve listed a number’

‘Oh you have a record in mind you want to break?’ Josh asked spearing a piece of pancake.

‘Yeah I’d like to have a crack at beating David Garrett for being the world’s fastest violinist’ Louisa said ‘I reckon I could beat a minute six for Flight of the Bumblebee’

That comment got Josh to tear his eyes away from the paper.
‘Really?’ he said in surprise ‘have you every tried breaking that record informally?’

‘Yeah when I went down to Los Angeles to visit Charlie and George last weekend’ Louisa said tearing out the ‘we all got drunk and tried it. Charlie couldn’t play Mary Had a Little Lamb let along Bumblebee and George tried it on Josh’s piano after dropping her flute and ended up playing the Gilligan's Island theme. The vodka and Red Bull hadn’t hit me yet and I tried it. I managed a minute twelve. Well I think I did that’s when the voddy hit me’

Josh laughed heartily.
‘That explains why you missed our Skype chat and I got a barrage of ‘I’m drunk I love you’ and various other sexually themed text messages that night’ he said in amusement ‘I’ve kept those you know’

‘Oh god you didn’t?’ Louisa groaned ‘seriously? Why?

‘Because they reminded me of home and what and who I had to come home to’ Josh said ‘and they were good for a bit of a giggle’

‘Oh my god I can’t believe you kept them!’ Louisa groaned covering her face ‘you didn’t show them to anyone I hope’

‘No way you know I keep things like that private’ Josh said ‘and I have a reputation to uphold you know what do you think people would think of me if they knew the love of my life sent me pictures of her bare breasts and described what she would like me to do with them?’

‘I sent that? Louisa yelped ‘oh god I really should be kept away from vodka’

Josh chuckled and reached across the table to tug on a length of her hair.
‘Don’t be embarrassed I was glad to get it’ he said ‘trust me it was the fuel I needed to tune out before the recital that night’

‘You jerked off to it?’

‘Yeah several times leading up to the last recital’ Josh said going pink ‘but now that I’m home the self loving incidences are going to lessen I know they will, especially while I’m here’

‘You can stay as long as you like J. My home is your home’ Louisa said getting up and kissing the top of his head ‘I love having you and the boys here’

Josh leaned into her touch savouring the contact one of the familiarities of home.
‘Thanks sweetheart’ he said 'thanks a lot'
