“Kelly what is that?”

“Sorry baby my alarm. We have to get up.”

“Already?”

“Yeah. I’m going to get a shower I can wake you when I get out so you can get one.”

“Ok,” Carrie said without opening her eyes. Kelly smiled and disentangled herself from Carrie. Turning to look at Carrie, she gently caressed her cheek brushing away the few stray hairs from away from her face *She looks like an angel* Kelly thought. She smiled and walked to the bathroom. Kelly got a quick shower and went to wake up Carrie. Carrie had shifted and was now laying on her back with her head turned toward the window. Kelly got in bed, moving slowly so that Carrie wouldn’t wake. Kelly lightly pushed Carrie’s hair so Carrie’s skin was exposed. Kelly lightly kissed Carrie’s ear lobe traveling down her jaw line down to her neck back up to her lips. It was a soft gentle kiss. Soon Carrie’s lips were moving with Kelly’s. “Mmm,” Carrie moaned into the kiss. Kelly pulled away as Carrie’s eyes fluttered open. “I like waking up that way more then the beeps.” Kelly smiled.

“You have to shower cause we have to get going.” Kelly started to get up when Carrie grabbed Kelly hand and lightly pulled her back.

“I love you,” Carrie stated.

“I love you too, baby,” Kelly replied giving Carrie a light kiss on the lips. “Go take a shower stinky.”

“Hey I do not stink,” Kelly rolled her eyes and got up from the bed. Carrie followed and went into the bathroom. The two were ready about an hour later and headed out to the bus. Kelly traveled in her own bus sometimes Benny came with her, but most of the time she liked to travel alone. The band had their own bus and sometimes Kelly would end up on theirs.

“It’s about time you two,” Benny said.

“Sorry, Carrie took forever in the shower.”

“Hey you said I stunk so I had to shower longer,” Kelly rolled her eyes and smiled.

“Come on let’s go. I’m going to be on the band bus today.”

“Alright. How long is our trip?”

“About 6 hours or so.”

“Ok then we’ll see you later,” Kelly said.

“Bye girls.”

“Bye Benny,” Carrie said. The two got onto the bus.

“Hey Mac,” Kelly said.

“Morning Kelly. You both ready to go?”

“Yep,” Carrie and Kelly said in unison.

“So are you going to blast you’re music?”

“Yes ma’am I am if that’s ok.”

“That’s fine with me. I’m going to close this then.”

“That’s fine. I’ll let you know when we are going to stop.”

“Thanks Mac,” Kelly said heading toward the back closing the door behind her. Carrie was in the back of the bus sitting on the couch with her head tilted back and eyes closed. Kelly came back and closed the door softly. Kelly straddled Carrie lap. She leaned down and began kissing up the center of Carrie’s neck.

“Mmm,” Carrie moaned. Kelly kissed up her chin , Carrie tiled her head down and leaned forward bringing their lips together. Carrie’s arms wrapped around Kelly’s waist, while Kelly’s hands tangled I Carrie’s hair gently pushing the hair off of Carrie’s face. Carrie pulled Kelly as close as she possibly could. Kelly deepened the licking Carrie’s bottom lip. Carrie opened her mouth allowing Kelly’s tongue to explore. Kelly’s tongue gently massaged Carrie’s. Carrie’s hand slipped underneath Kelly’s shirt. She slowly began lifting it when Kelly’s phone rang. Kelly pulled away and resting her forehead against Carrie’s, their lips still pressed against each others. “Don’t get it,” Carrie whispered against Kelly’s lips. Kelly leaned forward capturing Carrie’s lips but then pulled away. And grabbed her phone.

“I have to it’s my brother.” She got off of Carrie’s lap and sat next to her. “Hey Jason.”

“Hey Kel. So at this next venue they want to do the meet and greet after the show. Will that be ok?”

“Yeah that’s fine. I like that better anyway,” Kelly replied.

“Yeah that’s what I figured but I wanted to check with you first. Ok I’ll see you when you get here.”

“Bye Jay.”

“Bye Kel.” Kelly hung up the phone and turned to Carrie.

“The venue wants to do the meet and greet after the show.”

“Oh! I like those better anyway.”

“Me too,” Kelly said. She got a far away look.

“Baby?” Carrie questioned taking her hand in hers.

“Hmm?”

“Are you ok?”

“Yeah sorry just thinking.”

“About?”

“Everything. Carrie are you happy?”

“Yeah of course I am. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy in my life. Why?”

“I don’t know I just feel that there might be someone better out there for you.”

“Kelly?”

“I mean you deserve the best and I don’t think I am.”

“Kelly what’s going on in that head of yours?”

“Lots of things. I feel like I’m holding you back. That you can be a huge, but you aren’t doing it.”

“Kel, I am happy where I’m at. I don’t need fame and money. Because you know what?”

“What?”

“I have you and that’s all that matters to me is having you by my side. We both have done stupid stuff, but look at us Kel. We are stronger than we ever were before.”

“You think so?”

“I know so. Kelly you make me stronger because you are the strongest person I have ever met. You fought with the person that no one ever takes on. And look at you, you are still going.”

“I’m stubborn Care not strong.”

“No you are strong. You make me strong. And I don’t want anyone else. I know I made a mistake, but I don’t know what was going on in my head. I love you Kelly. Sometimes I don’t think I deserve you.”

“Yeah right.”

“No seriously. You can ask my sister. I told her what did I do to deserve you. I say to myself all the time ‘She can have anyone why does she want me? What does she see in me?’ Kelly I am the lucky one because you want me. Why are you with me Kel?”

“Because you see a part of me that no one does. You see past the outside. You see me for me. You make me stronger. And the bonus you’re beautiful,” Kelly said with a laugh.

“You’re a dork.”

“But I am your dork.”

“Yeah yeah. You know when you wanted to tell our parents and I kind of got upset and scared. I am ready now Kelly more ready than I was when you first suggested it. At first I just said ok because I didn’t want to fight with you. But now I am ready Kelly. I want my parents to the know the person I am so in love with. The person that makes me happier than anyone has in my life. I have booked us a flight to Oklahoma. We leave a couple of days after your tour ends because I have a few things to do the first couple of days after your tour is over. But than I have a few weeks off and you have a couple weeks off. I also booked us a flight from Oklahoma to Texas so we can tell your parents. I am ready for this Kelly. I am ready to take on the world,” Carrie said with tears in her eyes. Tears were now falling freely from Kelly’s eyes. “Kelly I am so sorry about Chace I don’t know what I was thinking.”

“Baby I forgive you. And I’m sorry about Graham. There’s something else I should probably tell. Since our love lives seem to be in the news. I saw Graham after I ran out on you. I kissed him Carrie, but he pushed me away. He could tell I was upset. I told him what was going on and he made me realize that I didn’t want to lose you. I’m sorry I should have told you sooner.”

“It’s ok. I forgive you Kelly,” Carrie said leaning in to Kelly. Kelly closed the gap between them. Carrie deepened the kiss licking Kelly’s bottom lip. Kelly granted entrance, Carrie’s tongue massaged Kelly’s. Carrie pulled away and put her head in Kelly’s lap. Kelly took Carrie’s right hand into her right hand, while her left hand played with Carrie’s hair. Lightly running her hand through her blond locks. Carrie closed her eyes and was soon asleep.

Her hand still holding Kelly’s tightly. Kelly watched as Carrie slept. She watched as her chest rose and fell.
