Part Three – The Double-Roomed Cage
Kaoru walked around the outside of the cage slowly, looking in at the one he’d brought from the underground holding pins. His black gloved fingers brushed over the outer bars of that section of the holding area for his new acquisition. Inside, the young pixie was still unconscious – and with the collar off, the magic controlling his size was absent. The blonde’s natural defenses had kicked in. And he had shrunk down, just as Kaoru had thought he would do. At the moment, the dragon was almost too small to see clearly among the branches of the magic built forest Kaoru had made for his captive. The little one’s wings fanned lightly as he curled on the ground, sleeping half hidden under a leaf. Kaoru smiled softly and watched as his captive slumbered on. Finally, the Sidhe Prince moved away from the bars of the cage, his fingers then brushing the magiced netting he’d layered behind the bars of that area for when his pixie was in there. He’d taken the collar off so that his captive could heal faster. The guard who had fired at him had left a nasty burn across his chest. Luckily for both the guard and the pixie, it would not scar.
The Sidhe Prince moved slowly, and soon passed by the bars of another part of the cage, away from the chamber which held the forest. This chamber of the cage was much like the one Kyo had been held in earlier. It was filled with pillows, fur blankets and silken sheets. There was also an obvious daybed near one of the sides of the cage. Nearby that was the polished wooden table near the little door in the bars, and with it the towel and the basin. Kyo’s pool of water was located near to the door that would allow him into the forest when he was able to venture there. The part he was currently in. Kaoru would use that area as a reward for his pixie. When he behaved, he could go into the forest and flit around. When he misbehaved, he would only be able to look at it, and long for it. Kaoru smirked lightly to himself. He knew that when the little Prince became pregnant, he would not be able to change sizes. So, the forest had another little affect to it, just for that time of Kyo’s life. When Kyo was with child – the forest would turn into a garden – where both he and Kaoru could spend time together.
The purple haired Sidhe moved from the cage then, giving his captive more time to wake up. Lightening magic on that level always did take some time to recover from, after all. As he walked, torches flared to life inside the room which held the cage – and where he left, the area darkened – save for around the cage. As he moved, another room was revealed in the shadows around him. It wasn’t anything like the inside of Kyo’s cage. There was furniture; all of it made in dark polished wood. The coverings and cushions were satin and were almost the color of blood. A large, four-poster bed, with the curtains of black gauze drawn was the room’s main focus. Kaoru went to it, and he pulled one of the curtains open, and sat down on the side of the large mattress. He looked up, and before him appeared a rounded mirror. He studied his reflection for a moment. He wondered what the pixie inside the double-roomed cage would think of him. Would he be grateful for the rescue? Would he be rebellious? Would he be willing to mate? Kaoru’s smirk grew as his eyes traveled the lines of his own stoic reflection. The Sidhe Prince was a predator, and his face showed that much of his personality in itself. His features were hawk-like and alert. Sharp, well sculpted. His lips were on the thin side, and though they were usually set in an almost stern, unforgiving line – they still held a bit of softness. He had an easy smile when one came to his mouth, and it was more often than most would think, just to look at him. However, if he did not have a serious expression – most of the time found him with his countenance baring a contemptible, mocking smirk. His clever, crafty eyes were piercing, the color ever changing. Sidhe hazel, they were called. At the moment, they were purple, with flecks of silver floating around in the violent, which matched the greater part of his wild hair. He reached up with one of his gloved hands to that wild hair and he toyed with one of the spiky tips, which sprang up from his scalp to form his bangs. Behind the violent spikes, his hair was long, shiny and black. Pulled back in a ponytail of a mass of tiny braids to keep the waterfall of onyx neat. The hand moved from his hair and brushed down the front of his garments. His clothing was always black, broken up with a few hints of color. At that time, he was dressed in simple, loose long sleeved shirt, which buttoned up the front, tied at the sides and had a ruffled cravat at his throat. A white opal broach nested in the folds of lace, to give it a noble look. His pants had belled-bottoms, and buttons that ran up the sides from his knees to his hips. His boots were hidden beneath the pants legs, lost under the wide belled material which swept across the floor when he walked. All together, he was a dark, dangerously handsome man.
Kaoru stood from the bed then, dismissing the mirror with a wave of his hand before he arose. He could have sworn he caught the hint of movements in the cage. Was his little pixie awake already?
- Kyo, who was awake, was crouched under the leaf he’d been sleeping under, his wildling eyes narrowed, and a snarl on his pretty lips. He’d come too a little earlier, as the Sidhe had been walking away from the part of the cage he was in. That moment found him studying his surroundings, his eyes locked on the cage bars at the edge of this false forest. The pixie had known immediately that this place was not made of nature, but of endless, deep magic – Sidhe force. That meant that the one who had made this place controlled it, and would most likely be able to feel and predict his every little move. He felt violated, though he knew he remained untouched by the one who was keeping him here. Kyo’s wings shifted gently, fanning like rising and falling ghost. They made the air whisper lightly, the scaled gossamer beauties creating a small wind current in the false forest.
Kyo crawled forward, watching the bars of the cage carefully, waiting for something to happen. For lightening to fly out at him, for a guard to appear . . . for another pixie to come to the bars. Anything. However, what happened, he did not expect. As he grew closer to the bars, a vine came down behind him, and as he was about to reach for the magical netting he could see layered on his side of the silver cage, the green rope slid around his ankle, gripping his ankle gently but firmly. It pulled him slowly back into the forest. Of course, he tried to fight it, as instinct took over him at being ‘attacked’ from behind. He turned, his claws lengthening from their sheaths in his fingers, and he slashed at the vine that held him. As he did so, he lifted into the air, using the power of his wings to try to further his struggle from the vine, which held him fast. The greenery retracted a little bit when it was slashed at, and then another piece of nature’s tethers lashed out at him, catching him around the wrist as yet another long, twisting stem came out and held fast to his other wrist. The two brought his arms together, and then a third piece came out and wrapped his wrists together, the two retracted, and the first pulled him towards the thickness of the trees once more. Kyo growled and struggled, trying to get free. -
Kaoru, by that time, was standing by the side of the cage, watching his little pixie struggle against the vine guardians he’d set up as a further preventative measure in case his prize tried to escape. He was glad that he’d guessed over his little captive’s fighting nature – the vines were proving useful and even rather comical as the little pixie’s fight made him get even more tangled in the hold of the greenery. He saw the dragon turn in the hold of the foliage to snarl at him . . . and then, he changed sizes before Kaoru’s eyes. The vines let him go for the transformation, but as soon as he was big, the larger vines whipped down and grabbed him once more, holding him more tightly since he was full sized.
“Are you always so rebellious?” The Sidhe prince asked the youth, who simply snarled in return. Kaoru smirked, took a breath. “You do know that you were going to be killed, do you not? And that I saved you from such a fate?” He titled his head lightly, and came closer to the bars. Those movements and words only made his captive growl, hiss, and struggle more – his pretty fangs bared for the taller male to see, and smirk at. “And you’re even fighting nature now. How very quaint. Do you actually think you’ll win, little one?”
“This is not nature. It’s Sidhe magic. I’m not so foolish as to mistake an illusion for the mother’s creation.” Kyo growled the words at him, his eyes narrowed in fury. He was panting, his chest rising and falling quickly due to his struggles.
“Ah, so you can speak.” Kaoru smiled at him, and he came to the bars, touching them with his gloved hands as he looked in at Kyo. “Now, what is your name, beautiful?” He was replied with spittle flying onto his face, the pixie snarling after he’s sprayed him with hocked up mucus. Kaoru’s features took on an annoyed look – but only briefly. He calmly wiped the spittle from his face, and then he turned his eyes once more to the pixie. “That’s a very hard name to pronounce. Are you sure there’s nothing else I may call you? Or will ‘Little One’ due for now?”
“May you twist in the seven hells and never see the Summer Land’s grace!” Kyo struggled more valiantly, snarling as he leaned forward to try to snap at the man. He knew it was would be a fruitless venture, but he did not want to submit. He knew what this Sidhe wanted of him.
“’Little One’ shall due for now.” Kaoru nods, and then he turns from the bars, and begins to walk towards his own bed once more, where he’d left the pixie’s collar on his nightstand. The velvet trinket was then affixed with Kaoru’s symbol upon the front, to let everyone know that the pixie prince was his property, and was not to be touched by anyone but himself. He collected the collar, then returned to the cage – going to the first part of the double-roomed holding pin. He went inside the cage, and then he opened the door to the forest room and went inside there. Kaoru walked back to where the vines held Kyo.
As the pixie growled and snarled, the Sidhe Prince calmly fixed the collar back around his throat, smirking lightly as the captive let out a cry of sorrow at being subjected to the lose of control over his size shifting once more. He backs away, and then he brings a piece of silk rope from the very air, producing it with magic. “Vines, bring his wrists forward, if you’d please.” The vines did as they were asked, and Kyo’s wrists were brought forward so that Kaoru could bind them with rope while the pixie struggled.
“Damn you!” Kyo hissed, trying to pull his hands away from he ropes being wrapped about his wrists. But it was once more pointless, his struggles. He found himself bound in the silk, which tightened further each time he tugged at it to free himself. The Sidhe Prince regarded him calmly as he fought. The purple haired one then reached up and attached a leash to his collar, right at the front, where the symbol hung down to touch Kyo’s soft skin.
“Release him.” He ignored Kyo’s growls of rage, smirking softly to himself as he did so. He had learned over time that if such things were ignored – even the most unruly slave would come to his senses and begin to act with some obedience. After all, no one liked to be ignored. The vines dropped the boy, but Kaoru caught him before he could hit the ground roughly. He set the struggling lesser fey onto the ground neatly, then he simply turned from him, and led him towards the exit of the forest room. “Come along, my Little One, you’re misbehaving too much to stay in the forest.”

*Note - I'm sorry that this took so long, and may not be up to parr with my usual chapters, as it is a bit shorter. But, I kind of was rushed through this, due to stuff happening around my house. Sorry if it's not that good, or seems unfinished. I'll have more up soon, and hopefully, no more chapters will suck this much : x *
