Mike wondered around the grounds of the Rockwell Estate, it was an amazing place so peaceful, he slowly made his way back to the party and smiled as he saw his bandmates being introduced to everyone, well all except Andy who had got lost and told them to meet him there later. Lacu seemed to have hit it off with Elia. Ria was at the other side of them and she looked stunning, he thought about how much he wanted to drag her into the woodland and strip her down.

His train of thought was rudely disturbed by the shrill ringing of his mobile phone

“Hey Lacu, will you go get Andy from the gate, he thinks he’s going to get arrested or something” Mike laughed wondering over to his friend
“Sure Elia I’m not overly sure of the way, will you help me” Lacu asked dragging Elia away with him before she had the chance to reply

On the way up to the house, Andy found himself getting filled in on the Mike, Ria, Dave situation. When they got to the great hall, he looked around and saw his old friend with a very beautiful woman sitting on his lap, Mike had his arms around her waist and his head rested on her shoulder, they were talking to each other quietly. Lacu had been right they looked like a couple in love, all of a sudden the music changed and the woman sprung up and dragged Mike up for a very sensual dance she gyrated and arched against him. Andy smiled to himself, he hadn’t seen Mike this happy for ages, all of a sudden and older man rushed into the room, grabbed an older woman and ran over to the couple whispered something and Ria instantly changed partners and danced with the older man, leaving Mike to the older woman. Then in came a dark haired man, who looked around the room and glared at Mike.
Elia lent over and said
“In case you’re wondering that’s Dave and he shouldn’t be here tonight”
Andy and Lacu nodded
“He is an ugly little man isn’t he?” Andy said taking an instant dislike to his friends love rival
“He’s a complete bastard” Elia spat
Andy, Lacu and Elia watched as Dave stalked over to Ria and dragged her off the dance floor, Andy scowled as the man smirked at Mike. Andy noticed that the older woman had an iron grip on his friends arm otherwise there was no doubt that Mike would be at his throat.

“You whore, I know you were dancing with him” Dave spat throwing Ria out of the room
“Who?”
“Mike, you know the bimbo that can’t take his eyes off you!”
“Oh please, we’re just friends that’s all” Ria spat
“Bitch” Dave yelled raising his hand to smack Ria, all of a sudden Kimba sprang forward and grabbed his arm
“I really wouldn’t do that if I were you” he growled Dave looked around and noticed several of the travellers that Ria grew up with glaring at him, daring him to start something, But Dave wasn’t stupid he knew anyone of them could beat him to within an inch of his life in the blink of an eye.
“This is a private party, Gypsy’s only so see that gate over there, use it”
“But they aren’t gypsy’s” Dave protested pointing at Mike, Andy and Lacu
“They spend the majority of their lives travelling around on a bus, sound like gypsy’s to me, you however are a bastard and are not welcome” Dave scowled and pulled his arm free of Kimba’s
“Alright, I’ll go” he snapped as he turned and left the house slamming the door behind him.
Kimba stepped forward and wrapped his arm around Ria’ shoulder, he bent his head and whispered
“We all like Mike and think you should ignore your mother and follow your heart, were on your side kiddo, we’ll be here for you if you need us” he then kissed her cheek and wondered off onto the dance floor.
Mike came over, Ria glared at him and grabbed Elia and dragged her off upstairs. Mike sighed and went to leave
“Mike, I think you should stay” Andy said,
“Yeah” Lacu said nodding his head
“You can stay, she doesn’t want me” he replied closing the door as he left
“Dammit, that didn’t go to well did it” Lacu huffed

Dave walked up to Mike and laughed, “Awww did she ask you to leave?”
Mike just ignored him and climbed into his car. As he drove home all he could hear was Dave’s laughter ringing in his ears.
